Does copies the old fashioned way. Excellent work. If you support small mom and pops with key copies done right, then this is place to go. Went to this place because the big retailers like the one on Sunset rely on automated machines instead of people (or people who rely on automated machines) to do the work. Save yourself the trouble and time getting key copies redone by going to Angel Locksmith on Vine. read more

I needed to make keys for an old house, and they hand cut their keys. The new computer systems couldn't make them. They did a great job. Very happy with the result. read more

I am very very impressed by a locksmith. I was locked out of my house and when he got here he also noticed that my key lock was installed upside down. If you ever need an honest reliable and timely locksmith to help you out in case of emergency the locksmith Z is so funny it would be worth your time and money to get him to unlock or fix your door :-) read more

Angel Locksmith - Repaired lock! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Los Angeles, California

the lady broke my key and had me stuck and didn't offer a refund or a replacement I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Made two copies of my apartment key for $11.50 total (they only take cash so keep this in mind) in less than 10 minutes. The woman who made the copies also broke my $100 bill no questions asked, which I greatly appreciated because most places in LA won't take large bills like that. I'd been holding onto the $100 bill since my college graduation because nowhere would break it for me! I know I could have deposited it or gone to the bank but hey, I'm a multitasker and I wanted to get it done while buying something else I needed. Fast, cheap, reliable, friendly, and located near plenty of parking. I'll never go to another locksmith as long as I live in Hollywood. Also I got a black key and a blue key, which is pretty cool. Now I know exactly which key on my chain goes to my apartment and I don't have to fumble through all my keys trying to find the right one. read more

Z is a master locksmith. Fixed a lock that was 100yrs old and probably last worked 50yrs ago. He takes extra time to listen to what your needs are and then suggests different options, including the most cost efficient. Damn good. Will never hire another locksmith. Z is the man. read more

I write rarely but with purpose of great appreciation. I cannot thank enough my angel who came to the rescue on this rainy day! I used the wrong key to open my front door and it got jammed and broke on me. So here I am standing alone, cold, wet and in need to use restroom‍. It took only 20 minutes for my angel to come to the rescue. He took it all apart, fixed, put back together and sent me off in peace and comfort. Thank you so much for this very pleasant experience during unpleasant time. I recommend this company to all. read more

Ivan was great! He solved our problem with our gates for our walk street. He has his manager contact our management co to work out our issues and get approval to complete the job quickly. Great service! read more

Let me say this : don't judge a book by its cover. Don't judge a company because it's a Kiosk at a 7-Eleven either . These guys are old school , Hand cut keys and this was a complicated one . She does it by hand - I called to get the low down on what I needed to bring in order to make a semi restricted key . They made it easy, painless... and a great price . First try with the key : flawless , no snags ... and they cut it from a 20yr old key that had filed down a little , perfect ! Thank you guys ! read more

As a property manager, I'm constantly needing to make keys for apartments. The woman who works there is an expert and making copies of keys. I've been to Anawalt so many times for key copies, but stopped going there because half the time the keys wouldn't work or they wouldn't have the key I needed. I've never had that issue with angel locksmith! Fairly priced as well. 10/10 would recommend! I won't go anywhere else to make copies of keys. read more

Called to see if they were open. They said yes. Drove there and they were closed. Bc the store manger left early and didn't communicate. Drove here last night. Again closed. The man was really friendly and unlocked my door in 5 min. As a free courtesy he also made me an extra copy of my key. And THEN on to of that, he gave me a discount! After locking myself out of my apartment for the 900th time (and making myself look like a damn fool trying to jimmy my doorknob with a Best Buy gift card), I looked to Yelp to find a locksmith. I fully expected to pay $70-90 ($100+ when it's after hours) like I normally do, but I was flabbergasted to hear a quote of $55 from Angel Locksmith. I'm sure this rate changes depending on the hour, but regardless, it's obvious their rates are very competitive. John came by in half an hour and assessed the situation. Apparently the Kwikset doorknob I had was a "newer style" and couldn't be picked. He seemed puzzled at first which worried me, but he proceeded to grab a power drill from his truck and used it to rip the cylinder out and replace it with a new one he had on hand. Never seen that happen before, but it was funny to watch. All-in-all, I had a working doorknob with no need to change keys, so mission accomplished. I'll definitely be calling Angel Locksmith if I ever find myself being a careless dunce again :0) read more

They're reliable, efficient, inexpensive and punctual! John fixed the lock of one of our doors 3-4 years ago and he replaced the lock of a different door a few months ago. These guys are unreal! I was traveling for the holidays and left my keys to my house at my previous location. So there I was after a long flight and an uber ride locked outside my place calling locksmiths to try and get a quote. The first few places I called were just absolutely ridiculous either charging 150-200 to open a standard door or playing games with charging for a tech, then charging for a evaluation fee, then charges for the actual labor all while not giving you a price. So I was either going to pay an insane amount of money or gamble on a place that would not give me a price until after the job was done. As luck would have it I decided to try one more place even though I had requested one of these "give you a price later places" and thank god I called Angels locksmiths. The call was so simple instead of asking me for all my contact info first and working there way around the price as best as they could they asked what I needed, what kind of door it was and gave me literally a price no less then 50% better than any place I called. They showed up 15 minutes later and the job was done in less than 10. UNBELIEVABLE service!! This is no exaggeration it isn't even close, they are the 100% go to if your in the Hollywood/West Hollywood area. If you see this review I am asking you just to give them a call to see infact how straightforward, honest and legit these guys are. Call them see for yourself and go ahead and try calling another place in the are to see the inflated prices/ shady practices they employ to try to get every dollar from you. Thank you to Z and the guys at Angel Locksmith you made a terrible situation a lot better by being good people ! read more

I was looking for locksmith service on Saturday 3 hours and no one couldn't help me with missing key for truck. This guys showed up on my parking in 15 minutes after call. 10 minutes for job! Price much cheaper when I got from another companies. Amazing service. Thank you for your help read more

By the time you need this review, you are probably stressed. Chill. This service is prompt (15 minute from call to showing up.) The locksmith has skills (two tries in 5 minutes got the deadbolt open.) The cost is the most competitive ($65 v. $100+ after calling around.) Ironic, one wishes never to revisit this great service! read more

Originally, I had gone to my local Ace Hardware to get copies of my house key made, but they didn't work and they tried to "fix it" another time but it still didn't work. I saw the little Angel Locksmith place while driving and on a whim decided to go in. The sweetest little lady helped me and she made them SO FAST! And they both work! Praise God! These Angels did miracles. It was 5 dollars, which seemed a bit expensive for two regular house keys, but they worked, so it was totally worth it. read more
