No bones burrito
Tanner C.

I ordered a no bones burrito and an iced matcha latte and both were great! A little pricey, as with most vegan food, but I thought it was a good portion and we'll seasoned.

Eggs, pancakes and bacon with OJ and coffee - $26 before tip.
Dan N.

Stopped in for a late breakfast. The restaurant has a weird layout with steps up and down and tables seem like they are just placed where they can be fit. It's an older building but the layout is rather odd. The staff was friendly and cleans as they go although I do wish they would wipe down the tables in between guests. I had to ask for a cleaning clothe to wipe down the table. This time the food looked good but the taste and texture were blah. Eggs were hard scrambled and the pancakes sat in your stomach like a brick. On a positive note, the bacon was very tasty. Considering how busy the place was I would have thought the quality would be better. We'll see if there is a next time.

Capri-inspired wedding cake with family heirloom topper.
Maddy M.

We ordered a cake for our wedding and Justin + team absolutely knocked it out of the park!! Our wedding was all Capri blues, whites, greens, and lemons - and Crush Cakes understood the assignment. We received so many compliments on not just the cake's design but the taste too (red velvet). I am forever grateful for the baking team over at Crush Cakes for going above and beyond, making not just a delicious cake, but also a pretty piece of decor. Also, we ordered cookies to accompany our wedding ice cream sundae bar. These were stellar and everyone was asking where we ordered them from! Compliments all around!!

Chiliquiles
Neal T.

Quick breakfast service, tried the chiliquiles which were pretty good. The chips were a little chewy but sometimes just the right amount of crunch. The flavor was excellent, a nice level of spicy and the avocado on top was an excellent addition. Quirky little corner spot with in and outdoor dining options and a coffee shop vibe but with good food and what looks like some intense cupcakes. Not at all what I was expecting, the menu is quite extensive.

We happened to stumble upon this charming restaurant, and it was a wonderful surprise. The staff was incredibly kind, and the food and coffee were absolutely delicious. It's definitely a place I'd love to visit again!

Lemon cupcake, peanut butter chocolate, carrot cake, other tasty flavors!
Keely A.

Went here to get cupcakes to bring home to my family when we got back from vacation. The cupcakes were beautiful! A fabulous selection of flavors, like lemon, carrot cake, etc. my family said they were delicious! I ordered a cinnamon roll for myself and it was the BEST cinnamon roll I had ever had. Highly recommend! I wish there was one in the Bay Area!

Crush Red Velvet Pancakes Breakfast
Jenna A.

What a sweet and charming location! With indoor and outdoor seating, it makes for the perfect Sunday Brunch spot! While I am bummed that I did not have enough room in my stomach for some cupcakes, I did devour the Red Velvet Pancakes!! Absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, with the ability to ask for extra cream cheese frosting with speedy wait times, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Crushcakes!! I will definitely be back on my next visit to Santa Barbara!

Mexican mocha
Raechel I.

It's been awhile since I stopped by Crushcakes for breakfast. I am glad to say their food is still amazing and consistent to how great it was last time. This spot sits on a corner and offers seating inside, and outside. The pastry case is very tempting. I usually get a cupcake or two for the road. Ordering takes place at the front counter and you see yourself. The Mexican mocha is the perfect drink. Not too sweet, and creamy. My kid loves the "red" pancakes. The red velvet pancakes are thick and sweet. I like the cream cheese whip cream with them because it puts the pancakes on the edge of dessert. Lastly, the perfectly sauced chiliequiles are a must. You have the option of adding meat but honestly it's not needed. The dish is flavorful, hearty and comes in a big portion. Keeping it , this combo is the best breakfast.

Lavender lotus latte
Kristina M.

A local favorite! Super quick and friendly service, I got my drink and meal within 10 min of ordering. I had the lavender lotus iced matcha, and the cold foam was the majority of the lavender flavor. When the Rolex wrap came out, I was super impressed with the presentation and how it maintained its structure as I bit into it. Inside was a bit dark, so I sat outside, but it was a bit chilly in the shade so wear a jacket.

Flip side
Brandon R.

Rainy day is perfect for warm drinks and warm food. I got the flip side and a white chocolate mocha it was ready pretty quickly and the staff were very nice and it was just sooo delicious. And since it was a rainy day it was a little quiet which I definitely appreciated. Would definitely come back

Chicken Ceasar Wrap & raspberry spritz

I've only been two times and it's been amazing. Everyone is so much and helpful. I loved the chicken wrap so much I had to get it again. Their drinks are unique and delicious. I had the butterfly palmer last time, I switched it up today and got the raspberry spritz. Both are definitely worth trying out.

Emily D.

Fun stop for a cupcake while visiting Santa Barbara. Perfect for adults looking for a treat or kids as they offer both full size and mini cupcakes. The service was very friendly and made you feel welcome when you arrive. Limited indoor seating and several outdoor tables.

Yum.

We are so grateful to have found this delightful restaurant! It was so fantastic, we dined here two days in a row! Everything we tried was fabulous! The food was very fresh and tasty and the portions were generous. The employees were very nice. Oooooh, the Old Bay fries are scrumptious! I thought I had photos of our friend's other dishes but they were winners too: macadamia crusted halibut and the grilled sea bass entree. The ambiance and location are right out of a movie. It's located right on the beach in a quiet, off the beaten path road that ends at the restaurant. You can spend the entire day there enjoying the beach and having lovely meals! We chose to eat on their outdoor patio under umbrellas. They also offer indoor seating as well as some small tables on the beach sidewalk. The main parking lot is small and scoring a spot can be trying. They do have a spill-over lot near the entrance. Like George Costanza on Seinfeld does, start close and do concentric circles -lol! We were blessed by the Parking Gods both days we dined there! After enjoying your delicious meal, take a walk on the beach. There is a little water station near the restaurant (on the sidewalk) where you can wash the sand off of your feet. We cannot wait to be back! V & K

I'm pretty sure the granola was homemade or at the very least sourced from a whole food brand. The baked pears added the perfect amount of sweetness. Pancakes and Avocado toast were also delicious. The cocktail is dangerous; I could have sipped on it all day. The restaurant is located inside The Kimpton. It's a beautiful property. Shoutout to Robert who was a pleasure to meet. First, Finch & Fork is essentially just the restaurant inside the Kimpton Canary Hotel. What I mean is that it's not a restaurant that happens to be inside of hotel property (think Caruso's). It's just where you eat as a hotel guest that is hungry for brunch. We had an 11:00 AM reservation, which I believe was the earliest brunch seating. The hotel lobby was packed and chaotic when we arrived. We checked in and sat down to wait, but while we were waiting, multiple other parties of two who checked in after us were seated first. Not a huge issue on its own, but not a great start. The Mother's Day brunch itself consisted of a buffet plus an entrée selection. The buffet had three main sections: seafood (oysters, shrimp, tuna poke), salads, and miscellaneous bites and desserts like deviled eggs, Italian wedding soup, and macarons. Honestly, the buffet felt more like cocktail hour appetizers at a wedding than a true luxury brunch spread. The entrées were fine. The service was fine. Nothing was bad, but nothing felt memorable or special either. The atmosphere was also extremely loud...noticeably so. What really dropped the rating for me was the value. For two people with no alcohol (just iced tea), the total came out to $264.60. That price was honestly shocking for what was offered. Nothing about the food, service, or atmosphere justified that kind of cost. As we were leaving, we noticed a Photo Booth setup and a bouquet-making station across the lobby. No one had mentioned either of these to us, and the bouquet station appeared unattended, so we weren't even sure whether it was included or an extra charge. Overall, I left feeling disappointed, especially because this was meant to be a special Mother's Day outing for my mom. If you're just looking for a casual hotel brunch/lunch/dinner, it's perfectly fine. But for a holiday brunch at this price point, I expected something much more polished, elevated, and memorable.

Everything is high quality and fresh for reasonable prices. Charming, cozy decor with Danish accents. Service is also excellent and warm. Quiche with Hollandaise Sauce - Light, buttery flaky crust, light, fluffy eggs. Absolutely delightful, leeks provided good texture. Came with a strip of bacon. Was so amazing hardly ate the sauce. Don't think you can sub salad for fries but no worries, as the breakfast potatoes were amazing. Many places offer breakfast potatoes but something seemingly simple is actually hard to make well. My friend's Bratwurst Sausage with Eggs, her favorite, was hearty and filling. A lot of indoor seating but we enjoyed our table outside, watching pedestrians on State St. and enjoying the beautiful scenery and architecture. We expected to wait to be seated but surprisingly it wasn't that busy. Order at counter and the food is brought to your table. As we waited, employee kindly gave us two free pastry samples, both delicious. All the baked goods I got to go I want again. Their scones are fabulous-slightly crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Their tea service which comes with champagne is pricey, I believe $75 per person. But interior is a perfect colorful and relaxed setting for tea. My tastebuds dream of coming back. Will be thrilled when I next indulge on their pastries and quiche.

There was only one person in line and 4 staff members behind the counter standing around talking to each other. Nobody greeted us or asked for our bakery order. When I said excuse me to a dirty blond girl she replied "WHAT!" and continued to joke with a co worker. When the cashier finished with their customer they walked away and even though they saw we were waiting to be helped. I looked around and saw nobody helping seated customers or us at the bakery counter. Finally, the dirty blonde ask what we need and my response was "WHAT" ?! At this point we should have left and gone to Lilac Patisserie however we proceeded to give her our order. I told another customer behind us that rudeness seems to be the norm, and she agreed. I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. It was also an epiphany that they don't treat everyone this way. It could be you next time. Please go somewhere else. We will never go to anywhere but Lilac Patisserie which is to the left as you exit Andersons, past the stop light. You will definitely get your money's worth and the staff is friendly, professional, and greet you immediately as you reach the counter.

We also lingered at the table for a bit afterward -- I was putting on my coat and we were in no rush -- and at no point were we given any indication that there was an issue with the payment. However, as we were walking to our car, the waiter and busser came outside looking for us, believing we had not paid. From the parking lot, I could see them searching and had my husband walk back to clarify. The situation was resolved quickly and the server apologized, but it was uncomfortable and embarrassing. Service: While we waited in line outside, Lalo, walked up to all of us offering menus for those of us that didn't have any yet. He was very friendly, energetic and joyful with all of those around. We were able to ordered and be seated pretty quickly, within 10 minutes of entering the line. I think what's unique about their ordering and seating model is that they have you order your food at the register, pay, then take a seat where you like. In my perspective, this allows for a smoother in and out dining experience as you don't have to wait for a server and your bill. Environment: The inside of the restaurant provides a store like experience and as you wait in line you can shop around for custom merch. The outside of this restaurant provides great seating with views of the beach. Food: Our plates were delicious! We ordered some special plates they were offering that weekend. I don't recall the exact names, but my wife ordered a sort of lobster cake plate, and I ordered a type of huevo rancheros. We would definitely return here again!
