    Hibiscus margarita

Ambience it's amazing in this place, the location it's very good, the smell of the ocean and breeze was a nice experience, the food was good, I ordered salmon and the flavor was very good, hibiscus margarita was really good and crispy, my husband ordered fish and chips and it was so good and fresh, the classic cheeseburger was delicious, and the wings were very good too, good portions too, the service was ok, our server was very nice and attentive his name is Justice, the only strange thing was at the beginning they were ignoring us for a few minutes everything else was a good experience.

My friend and I came here for happy hour on a Thursday. It was busy, but we were still seated upon arrival. The restaurant is right on the beach and has that casual vibe. They have a large patio area and open doors to allow for the ocean breeze to come through. Food: We ordered a myriad of items off the happy hour menu to enjoy. Deviled Eggs - I ordered this without the bacon. The sweet and sour sauce is interesting. I would order again. Brussel Sprouts - I ordered this without the bacon, but it was still delicious. Crispy Asparagus Spears - These were my favorite. They were long and crispy, fried to perfection. Miso Garlic Noodles - The flavor was good, but the noodles were overcooked and too soft for my preference. My friend also ordered the fried chicken entree, and he enjoyed that meal. Service: Service was friendly and to the point. It was pretty busy, so it wasn't the most attentive service. It wasn't terrible either. Our server was nice. Food came out promptly. TL;DR - Lovely location for happy hour on the beach

Nice brunch at Reunion. We managed to snag the fire pit table that had a nice boardwalk and ocean view. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I personally had the honey Brie chicken sandwich. The flavors all matched so well and the bread was delicious. Great sandwich. Rest of group enjoyed their respective plates. Would come back for atmosphere and food alone. Nice spot

Driving up the coast and needed a place to stop and eat dinner . Based on Yelp reviews I decided to give this place a try. We made reservations and were seated pretty quickly . They have a good variety of different foods on the menu . The best part is the view of the ocean you get if you sit outside , which of course we did . We started off with the bacon jalapeños and they were so good ! They were a little small but that would be my only complaint about them . I decided to try the fish and chips , they came out very crispy but they got mushy too quick for my liking but the fish Inside was good and flaky , and the homemade tartar sauce was great . Service was very slow , enough that my whole meal I didn't get a refill :( I would have given 5 stars if the service was better . I would probably return again.

Three stars is generous and mostly due to my hubby loving his sandwich and being able to see the ocean. Overall the food was a 3.5 (pasta was BLAND) but unfortunately our experience was tainted by dingus #1 & # 2 running the bar. They did not have a clue what they were doing (including a lack of handwashing post plunging the stopped bar sink with immersed hands in muck and then immediately making a drink and handling garnish) and and were so distracted by their loud conversations about Las Vegas and strippers that the experience was unsavory. Add the public beach bathroom to use as a customer and let's say I wonder how the ratings of this place are so high? I am sure there are better options in the area!

The reason this still gets a 4 star is because the food was actually really good, our server, Alex, saved the day, and the view is just unbeatable! I got the chilaquiles and they were fantastic, our table got a white chocolate pancake and it was so fluffy and good. All my friends enjoyed their food (chicken and biscuits, monster burrito, chicken club sandwich etc.) Couple of hiccups; had a reservation at 11:15 and didn't get sat until 11:30, no table touching for another 10 minutes. No "be right with you", or support staff getting us started, nothing. I went ahead to the two hosts that were just standing at the iPad and asked for some waters and a server. A new server, Alex, took over our table after his break. He was the best! He got us anything we needed when the food came out, and then noticed 3 of us were drinking Diet Coke and brought out a pitcher of it for us. Unreal! At the end we also kind of made a mess on accident dropping something and he brought us warm towels to fix the issue. Truly would go back if Alex was our server!

LOVE the location of reunion! it's right off of the sand and there's a sweet little play structure and swings for kids on the sand (perfect for your kids while you're waiting for your food to come out). the restaurant has a great patio to enjoy the views of the water and there's ample seating inside at the bar and tables the menu has a variety of different items ranging from tacos to southern comfort food so a little bit of something for everyone. the food was overall good, but we did find that the food needed a little bit of salt (and we usually eat things with barely any salt).

We went there for lunch on a Friday. They were busy , but we were still able to get a table inside. The outside patio was packed, but there were plenty of seats inside. They had both booths and tables. Service was a bit slow, but the server was professional and friendly. We ordered the BBQ chicken Cobb salad and the short rib sliders. The salad was a good portion with a decent amount of chicken. The sliders were excellent and very tasty. Overall, a very nice meal.

Mini ahi poke tacos. Loved these

You cannot beat the ambience on the beach. Our server, Alex was absolutely exceptional and went way above and beyond to make this special occasion memorable. The mini poke tacos were my favorite. The crispy calamari was subpar and tasted a bit "rubbery " but the chicken wings were good. Alex made this meal very memorable as we await to welcome my granddaughter tomorrow. Thank you Alex.

Beef Short Rib Stroganoff- so good!

There are not that many restaurants in Santa Barbara right on the beach, and this is one of them. We had a great dinner here tonight with friends. Cocktails and wine were good. We got to see the Santa Barbara sunset. My husband and I had the house salad, which was very good and the short rib stroganoff, which was delicious. My daughter and one friend got the Ahi Poke, which was also very good. And my other friend got the Cobb salad with chicken, which she also enjoyed. Love the ambience. Absolutely recommend!

Butter cake - the best part of the meal!
    Meredith T.

Went here for a weekend getaway and made reservations for dinner. We were sat promptly on the patio with a nice view of the beach . The appetizers were good- although the crispy Asian ribs were not exactly as I expected. The clam chowder and prime rib dip sandwich was delish. Our waiter recommended the butter cake for dessert and it did not disappoint & he was sweet to brew me a fresh pot of decaf coffee to go with it. Overall, the experience was very nice.

We found this gem right on East Beach in Santa Barbara. There were both beachfront patio and indoor dining options and they somehow perfectly combined casual oceanfront dining with an outstanding menu. Make sure to make a reservation for outdoor seating. We were served by the lovely Harvey, who was warm, welcoming and made us feel right at home. Thank you Harvey! We ordered the deviled eggs which were out of this world, the best French onion soup in town, delicious miso garlic noodles and a Cobb salad. Every dish was delicious and full of wonderful flavors. In addition they had an extensive cocktail menu. We highly recommend this lovely casual spot.

    Tarun T.

Very nice restaurant view especially when you are dining at the patio. The staff are very friendly and polite. The dishes are limited to American cuisine mainly. Food quality is really good and tasty .

Are breakfast food items served on Sunday's?

Why not called him to get a accurate answer I was there during the week

We plan on eating lunch here after we elope, is a reservation necessary for a party of 3? Thank you in advance :)

If you're planning a weekend lunch, especially if you want a seaside table, it's highly advisable.

Any private rooms for group of 30?

No private rooms, that I'm aware of. The restaurant is divided into indoor seating and outdoor door seating, with a party of thirty maybe you could reserve most the indoor seating perhaps?

Any breakfast options on weekend mornings or is it the same menu?

Hi Jennifer, we offer a brunch menu on weekends from 10am to 2pm. View our brunch menu here: https://www.reunionkitchen.net/corona

    Is there a happy hour?

Hi Steve, we do have a Happy Hour. Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 6pm. Please visit our site reunionkitchen.net to view our Happy Hour Menu.

    Do you allow dogs?

Yes. I saw people with dogs in the outdoor dining area.

    Is there a corkage fee?

Hi Brian, our corkage fee is $15.

    Are there gluten free options?

Hi Kristine, we are unable to guarantee any items to be 100% gluten free, however we do offer a Gluten Sensitive Menu available for those with sensitivities rather than serious allergies. Please request a Gluten Sensitive Menu with our host team…

The way this restaurant works is that you go up to the front window, you place your order, you go and sit down, and the order is brought out to you. Pretty simple. It's important to note, however, that this is a popular café. So, particularly on peak hours, you're probably going to have to wait to put in your order. That's just an FYI. In terms of seating, they have a large outdoor patio space. There's a lot of tables there, so you should have no problem getting a seat, weather permitting. This area has tarps over it, so you do have some protection from the sun. But, depending on the weather, you may or may not like sitting there. Personally, I always like to sit outside at this restaurant. They do have some interior seating. It's fairly limited, but they do have a few tables. So, if you're lucky enough, and you want to sit inside, you may be able to grab one of these tables to sit at for your meal. In terms of their food, it's basically Americana, with a little bit of a southwestern twist. Overall, it's pretty good. They also have all of the expected drinks: your coffees, your lattes, your soft drinks, and all of that kind of stuff. Overall, this is an interesting take on a café in the Santa Barbara area. If you're into a casual environment, this is a fun place to eat.

The decor of the restaurant makes you feel like you've stepped into New Orleans--murals, Mardi Gras themed items, and cards on the ceiling! I was so excited that they bring out complimentary mini muffins! They are SO good! They have a few different flavors like banana nut, jalapeno corn, a rosemary one, etc. Definitely a highlight! For appetizers, we ordered the Cajun Popcorn and the Soft Shell Crab. I haven't had a lot of crawfish before, so I really wanted to try the Cajun Popcorn. These crawfish tails are dipper in cornbread buttermilk batter and fried. They're crispy and fun to eat! They give a sherry wine dipping sauce, which was also yummy! Would recommend getting these! We also wanted to try the Soft Shell Crab, and you can get it as an appetizer or an entree. The appetizer comes with one soft shell crab that's been stuffed with Bienville crabmeat dressing, coated the cornmeal flour, and flash fried. It has just the right amount of crispiness! It's served with a jalapeno beurre-blanc and rice. For our entree, we shared the Crawfish Pasta Lafitte. We couldn't get enough of the crawfish tails so decided to get the pasta that had them as well. The pasta also had caramelized onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, cream, and creole seasoning. Very tasty! Would recommend this pasta! For the fun part that I mentioned--they have a magician that walks around and does magic tricks at each table! It was entertaining and very cool to see some of the tricks up close! They also have a Sing-Along moment in the evening where they'll had out lyric sheets to everyone, turn on the music, and everyone sings the song together. They were playing "What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong on the evening I was there, but the song changes and they ask you not to open the lyrics book until right before the song, so it's a surprise!

I'm glad three pickles didnt do sandwich week because it gave us an opportunity to try this place. Entrance is on Chapala Street and there is a small parking lot area in front. When you go through the entrance doors they're pretty slow to open and you have to wait for one door to close before another one opens. Inside is very nice and well lit, and the people here are very friendly. Even though we originally came for the sandwich week other things on the menu look delicious and we had to order them as well. The sandwich week Reuben was a half sliced bread with a generous amount of meat. The sauerkraut had a nice tang and the sauce gave it the perfect amount of moisture. So those of you on a low-carb diet this is a perfect sandwich for you. The potato and onion knish tasted like garlic mashed potato wrapped in pastry and it was delicious. The latkes came with sour cream and apple sauce... I preferred dipping it in the hummus. The sarice's harissa and hummus plate was very delicious. Everything was flavorful. While putting my plate away I did notice someone didn't eat the harissa. My guess is that they couldn't handle spiciness. To me, the harissa had the perfect spicy-ness and made me wish they gave us more. If you can't handle spicy, try mixing the red harissa with the hummus. The hummus was flavorful and not super salty! Even the olives they put on the hummus wasn't as salty as a lot of other places. The green sauce was also good. I would definitely come back for the hummus plate. Esp for the pita bread. It was super soft and almost like eating a cloud from heaven. The stuffed cabbage almost reminded me of how my mom makes it and they do provide some bread to dip it in... But the hummus was too addicting so I ended up dipping that bread mainly in the hummus. To me the coffee was mild but it went well with the food. But iced tea had a nice floral flavor. Near the end of the meal they did give us some dessert on the house. Since I didn't see the chocolate chip cookie when we ordered I knew that was fresh. The rugelach were a nice 2 biter...or you could eat it in one big bite. The black and white cookie had a lemony flavor that dries up your mouth, so its best with coffee or tea. The warm chocolate cookie initially made me think it had raisins in it, but there were no raisins. The chocolate cookie had flavors that reminded me of fall with warm baking spices like cinnamon or warm apple pie spices. It was interesting and made it unique. Service is also really good...they had a place to drop off your dishes, but throughout our meal we had employees stopping by the check on us and remove some plates. They also made some small talk to give you a personal experience.

The bakery has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Even though there was a line when we arrived, it moved quickly, and the staff stayed friendly and organized the whole time. We ordered a yogurt bowl with fresh blueberries and homemade granola, a specialty toast topped with peanut butter, banana, crispy bacon, and a delicious sauce, plus coffee. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The pastry selection looked incredible as well. From fresh croissants and scones to cinnamon rolls and muffins, it was honestly hard to choose just one. We'll definitely have to come back to try more. If you're visiting Santa Barbara and looking for a great breakfast or coffee spot, Helena Avenue Bakery is absolutely worth the stop. Great food, great coffee, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!
