Absolutely love it! My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner, and it was a 10/10 experience. They greet you downstairs with a ranch water before you take the elevator up. All of the hostesses wished me a happy birthday which was sweet. They even handed me a birthday card with staff's signatures. Our table and the views were incredible. There was a storm rolling in that night, so we got to see part storm, part downtown, and the full sunset on the west side. Amazing. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered everything at once, and he paced out each dish perfectly to enjoy a three course experience. Chef Kim came by our table and wished me a happy birthday as well. He also told us they had been open 5 months to the day. I always love meeting the chef! Finally, all of the food was delicious. We got: salmon and scallop nigiri, wagyu croquettas, lobster bisque, filet mignon, wagyu strip steak, roasted carrots, and mashed potatoes. Everything was great and the mashed potatoes were the best I've had. The cocktails were great too: dirty martini with blue cheese olives and their take on a smoked old fashion (they smoke it at your table). We finished it all of with two cups of delicious coffee. Their Sunday brunch was a really fun time! It's kind of pricy, but if you get a good server the ambiance and service more than covers the price. Everywhere you look there are beautiful views of the entire Dallas area. There isn't a bad view in the place! I'm pregnant so I unfortunately couldn't sample the delicious looking sushi and oysters, but my husband ate enough for both of us. He gives it two thumbs up. We also brought a friend of ours who partook in multiple trips to the carving station. In addition to the the buffet samplings, an individual entree is also included in the price. Did not meet expectations. We went with five on a Wednesday night. Almost got nailed by a tour bus pulling into valet parking. Must be a hotel nearby. Upon being seated, the table was very small and we all felt crammed. They were unwilling to accommodate a more comfortable setup. It appears that maybe our expectations were too high. I would have to equate most of our food to subpar at best. 2 of us ordered the tomahawk that was sent back because it was cold and had absolutely no flavor. The 2nd time it came back out, it was still luke warm. Ultimately we decided not to eat it. Our mushrooms were cold. 2 cowgirl ribeyes were both sent back because they were cold. Carrots were cold. For a $1500 bill and another $100 at the bar-it just didn't sit well. To make bad matters worse, we were given shots that we assume were provided to "compensate" us for the food issues. Crown Block was such a let down, I don't even know where to begin. Valet service was very rough with our car, they literally floored it backwards to go and park it. Our food was SO bland for the prices they are charging. The only item that was good was our steaks, that had to be sent back for being over cooked! And guess what, the restaurant doesn't even spin anymore. Like that was their biggest attraction! And don't even ask to split the bill if you have a big party, they will just laugh and tell you it can only be evenly divided. Not that anyone cares, but I have been wanting to go to this place ever sense I was a kid. Growing up in DFW it has always been on my to do list. Unfortunately, I will never return. read more

Service was impeccable, as you can expect from any high tier steakhouse. Our server was a bit on the serious side, and it was a bit hard to flag him down, but great service nonetheless. The milk bun bread they have for starter was delightful. I think I can eat a batch of those by itself, along with the pimento cheese spread it came with. We had the PEI mussels and sausage to share. It was really mussels with tiny bits of sausages thrown in. The mussels were good, just thought the name was a bit misleading. For the mains, we had fillet mignon, salmon and pasta. The pasta sauce was too sweet IMO, and was not received well by anyone on our table. Salmon was a tad overcooked. The fillet mignon was okay. It was the mashed potatoes side that stole the show, so fluffy and buttery. Overall, the food was just okay. Not mindblowing and not sure if it was worth the price tag. For dessert, we had the dessert storm. Basically a tray of every sweets imaginable to mankind. They would also light up a sparkler candle for you. This for me was worth $30. Luckily, I was able to snag a spot for Mother's Day. Aside from the awesome views of #Dallas in a prime location like #reuniontower, the food stood up to its hype! Probably one of the best #restaurant #ribeyes I've had in a very long time. Our table ordered, mussels, ribs, and crab cake for starters. The salmon, ribeye, and Waygu for dinner with an assortment of sides .It was seasoned well and very tender. I knocked points for the dessert, sides, and service. We ordered the crème brûlée doughnuts. The sugar on the doughnuts was too burnt, and the Doughnuts were dry. The side dishes were not as "shareable" as i wound have liked. The waiter also insisted that we order everything at once. It was a bit overwhelming since it was our first time to know everything from appetizers to dessert. Overall it was a great experience. My husband planned this family date night a few months ago and the time finally arrived. We took our three daughters since he's always wanted to take them. When you enter the restaurant, there's a hostess table downstairs. There were two hostesses that greeted us with the ranch water and casamigos drink and they were extremely nice! They sent us upstairs to the restaurant, when we approach the second hostess stand there were three more hostess. Now, one thing about me and how my mind works is, I'm going to ALWAYS look for the dress code for an establishment no matter the kind. I always want to follow the rules set forth by the establishment, since I understand there's a certain kind of crowd they want to attract AND keep away. As you can see in our pics, I have on a fedora hat. When we arrive at the hostess stand upstairs, one of the hostess says "our policy does not allow for hats to be worn inside the restaurant". was my instant reaction, ESPECIALLY when I noticed one of the other hostess look at her like "what"? We go back to the waiting area since our table wasn't ready and of course I pull up the website as low and behold it says "no BALL-CAPS". If I were violating the dress code, I feel like the two hostess downstairs would have addressed it, which is how I know she was full of it. Needless to say when we walked passed her to be seated, I looked at her and she looked at me and I ate dinner the entire night with my fedora ON . No one ever came to address me again and we enjoyed the night. Our server was insistent on reorganizing our table every ten minutes, even to the the point where they moved our cellphones and personal belongings without permission or desire. Then, once it was clear we weren't paying for any over priced cocktails, our server lost any interest in serving us. They stopped speaking to us only refilling water every so often. They start you off with a ranch water downstairs if you'd like and the view at the top is obviously one of the best in Dallas. The wagyu croquettes were amazing. If I could have like 30 of those for my meal, sign me up. Crab cake was very tasty too, definitely did not skimp on the crab or the size. It was the perfect crab cake. The salmon steak was absolutely perfect. Super flavorful, stuffed with a little crab medallion in the middle made it perfection. The staff before you go up are very polite and the elevator ride has amazing views, we had a party of 5 and the table was about the size of a oval coffee table 5 plates barely fit on the table with the cups and napkins everything was very tightly squeezed in. Also one side of the table was a couch type sitting which was pretty small for 3 people to sit next to another. We asked for a bigger table and they said this was the only available setting for 5 people and their square tables were for either 2/4/6 people. We ended up leaving because we could not sit comfortably and enjoy the dinner all squeezed in next to each other. If I'm gonna spend close to $1000 for 5 people they should try to be more accommodating. Very disappointing. read more

The service was good but I felt kind of rushed especially when the server wanted to have everything we wanted to order in one visit than he would space it out. There wasn't a lot of explanation in the menu but im not going to complain. The food wasn't memorable but it was ok for it being such a high end restaurant. The wagyu steak was cooked very well but how can you mess this up. The Sushi was just ok and the drinks were just pricy. I would go back but probably just for happy hour just for vibe.
