a food truck parked in a parking lot
    Christine C.

As we were driving on the highway to the Napa wineries, we spotted the words "Wood Fired" on a food truck and had to make a u-turn to see what this was all about. I admit, I thought the food truck was serving wood fired pizzas and was at first disappointed when I saw the menu. However, I soon discovered that the chef here is a culinary expert and uses ingredients from sustainably farmed and local products whenever possible. Having previously worked as a chef at Acacia Winery for many years, he started this food truck business just a few months ago. There is actually a real wood fired oven, and he has the proper insignia on his truck so you know he's legit. I had the Hot Chicken Sandwich w/ Meyer Lemon Aioli, Tomatoes, Red Onions, and Greens ($8.95). Definitely your gourmet sandwich. The bread was fresh and the chicken was quite tasty with the aioli and heirloom tomatoes. The heirloom tomatoes were amazing too. Every bite made me wanting more. I also ordered the Rancho Gordo Anasazi Bean Chili w/ chopped red onions and sour cream ($4.95). The Anasazi beans are some kind of heirloom beans. Wow, heirloom beans too? The chili was different than what I'm used to, but good in a way. It had less of a chili flavor, but was still spicy, hearty and bold. This gourmet food truck definitely is worth the stop for all the tasty food items, quality ingredients, and use of local products.

This truck stopped by my work the other day (close to Napa Airport) and I ordered the arugula salad which had large fresh figs, goat cheese, walnuts (best walnuts I've had..what were they?) and I added chicken. Delicious and filling! When I brought it back to work my coworkers saw it and left to get one for themselves because it looked so good. I've also had the chicken mozzarella sandwich on other occasions and it too was incredible. You can tell this truck uses fresh, local and quality ingredients.

Chef Kevin does not dissapoint! I had the chicken sandwich from this' van's wood-fired oven, which comes covered in mozzarella. Delicious! Even the ingredients are grade A+, where does he get those gorgeous tomatoes?? He uses basil mayo on the toasted french roll, and because I took this back to the office, I did feel the need to have a mint afterwards. But it was worth it. On weekdays you'll find him parked in or near the Demptos parking lot on Soscol Ferry Rd during traditional lunchtime. This is not a cheap "taco truck". If you enjoy Alexis's food from ABC then you'll really appreciate this specialty food truck, serving quality food that's worth the price, sandwiches $8.

Wood fire grill inside their truck...Awesome!

These guys were so cool! They invited me right in to the truck to snap a few photos and tell me their story. Food tastes better when you know the story behind making it. Their Chicken Mozzarella Sandwich did not disappoint. Large chunks of tender chicken with fresh mozz and a delicious sauce all warmed in a wood-fire oven. Mmm mmm mmm, I want seconds. I hope they come to Petaluma more often. Thanks Kevin and Colin!

    Posole. Everyone should try this!!!

This place is amazing. Everything I've had has been all thing delicious. You can't go wrong with the chicken mozzo sando. The chicken is probably the best Ive ever had. The chicken noodle soup is definately not comparable to anything anywhere else. Definately the best Ive ever had. The cilantro was a lovely surprise! And lastly, and definately the best, is the pozole. If its on the menu, definately get that. You definately won't be disappointed. Its probably the best thing Ive ever had.

There's a lot of bustle here during the brunch rush but once you're seated it's easy to relax and enjoy yourself. The place is large but just small enough to still feel cozy. I don't usually order dishes I've never heard of before, but when our server read the Turkish Eggs special and mentioned the yogurt, dill, salmon, and poached eggs, I couldn't say no! I was pleasantly surprised by how well the smoked salmon and yogurt dill sauce went together, made better by the runny yolk of a perfectly poached egg. I would absolutely go back just for that special. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, though you can only get so excited about pancakes. Chilaquiles were delightfully savory, the plate was practically licked clean. Overall it's a great brunch spot for any weekend occasion!

One side of the restaurant opens completely to the outside, which is perfect on a nice day. We visited on a Saturday around 10 a.m., and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. My wife and I ordered the pancakes and the eggs Benedict. The pancakes do not come with sides, but you get three large, fluffy ones that are surprisingly filling. I was full after two. The eggs Benedict were excellent, easily some of the best I've had. Our server was friendly and attentive, regularly checking in and making sure my coffee stayed hot and topped off. Grace's Table is a Napa staple and absolutely worth a visit.

Some mishaps have happened with service on prior visits but management and servers are always concerned and make it right. That's why I keep coming back. I Popped in Thursday afternoon for Pho. It was not busy only two other couples eating when we arrived. We sat at our usual table And noted service was a bit slow right off the bat. When I received my Pho, which I thought was a longer wait than usual, it was luke warm if that. The Korean ribs and chicken wings arrived temperature appropriate. I pushed my soup aside but no one checked back until my lunch mate finished. When the waiter came to clear the table I asked for a to go and thought he would ask if there was anything wrong. He did not so I told him the Pho was served luke warm so I did not eat it and that no one had checked back or even passed by us or I would have sent it back to heat it up. We were done now so I'd just take it to go. Our waiter apologized and when he brought the bill said The Pho was comped and apologized again for the breakdown in service. When I dine I like to relax and enjoy a meal With who I came with. So receiving temperature appropriate food is important. The KD does a good job. They have a diverse menu with flavorful food and great cocktails. When there is a hiccup in service or the food there is a genuine concern. Sometimes it's caught by them and others it's brought to their attention. It's how things are dealt with when those mishaps happen. The KD addresses your concerns with sincerity and want their diner to have an all around great experience. If you have not been give KD a try when in downtown Napa.

So we thought- to my left was glass and seated there was a couple- it was a little uncomfortable - they can do something about that - a little Curtain - some steamed something ? we were looking at each other and it was kinda different . Not bad - not good - just different . We waited 10 full minutes before someone came over and brought two small waters which is ok- and then left - at least he said hi. Our waitress then showed up and didn't say her name - and asked us if we were ready - and then we ordered - I was in mid sentence and looking down and then swoop - the menu was gone - I guess I didn't want to add to my order- Our food came out and the Calimari was good, a decent portion, a bit salty - but - it was good . Then came our food - I got the short ribs - I will say it was really good and the meat just shredded nicely ....it was exceptional actually. My brother got the salmon and I will say it was delicious-- both were small portions with a big price - that's Napa . I don't know how it was 140$ for dinner - for two- but it is what it is. Then we were asked for dessert - a menu came and we waited it took a while for our server to come back - and since we waited so long we were turned off to get dessert ... so we went to Annette's up the street . Maybe.. but during our stay - no one Napa is dying - bad service and good food - it doesn't mix well and let's say there are other options- I'll be taking those options in the future - look around you may find something you like - the food is good here - yes it's - the service - stinks - It's a cute place inside - neat- clean - plenty of room- The menu printing is way too small - I had a hard time reading it - possibly size 6 lettering .. What a nice surprise a trailer that isn't a taco truck. It's a small trailer packing a lot of flavor. Avertiszements were for a prime rib cheese sandwich. I was delighted to be greeted with a friendly positive attitude and in this time of isolation it's needed. The sandwich comes in a 4 inch for $7.50 and a 8inch for $15.00. Quality bread, great quality cheese, medium quality meat which is saying a lot for a food truck as most have low quality gristle. The onions and peppers melded together perfectly, they don't hold back on the amount of ingredients. Juicy meat the hole thing made my mouth water with each bite. I was worried I was drooling and kept wiping my mouth lol. I have had some steak sandwiches this by far was the best. My only complaint was the bread needed more toasting or a different bread as within 3 minutes it was soggy with that juicy goodness.
