    Today, I contacted Cox Communications via live chat with one simple request: to cancel my internet…read moreservice. We found a provider offering faster speeds at a better price, and we've decided to make the switch. Instead of processing my request, the agent repeatedly stalled by asking intrusive and unnecessary questions: "How many devices do you have?" "What price are you paying?" "What do you use the internet for?" I explained that I had already made my decision and did not wish to answer personal questions. The agent insisted I had to answer them in order to proceed with the cancellation. Then, rather than moving forward, they pivoted to a sales pitch about Cox cell phone plans--something I have absolutely no interest in. At that point, I started making up answers just to get through the process. This is not customer service--it's harassment. Making it intentionally difficult for customers to cancel services is a shady business practice and only serves to drive them away for good. If I had even the slightest thought of returning to Cox in the future, that experience completely erased it. Your company needs to seriously rethink how you treat outgoing customers. You don't win people back by wasting their time, interrogating them, and pushing unrelated services. You just leave a bad taste in their mouth.

    I bought a new phone and four days later I could not text with it. I took it back to this store at…read more7:30pm and told them I had to have my phone for the work I do. I was told they could not help me because Sean, the guy who sold it to me, wasn't there. The person I spoke to didn't even look at the phone. He said there was nothing he could do. I asked for a different phone. He said they didn't have any in stock. I said I would take a16 instead. He said they didn't have any in the store.??? I said let me speak to your manager. He said she left. I said call her. He said she was in a meeting?? He lied to my face. In a meeting at 7:40pm at night when she had just left??? I have never had such poor service. And to be lied to all because he didn't want to bother helping me? I will never come here again.

Between Verizon and UPS something went wrong, and after five days of drifting around, my phone was "returned" to Verizon's Fort Worth warehouse. I was never informed of this; Verizon's website shows my order status as "delivered." Well I spent 8.3 hours between online automated chat (which is totally worthless), online chat with a rep (pretty much totally worthless), and four different calls with reps. Two were worthless; one was dropped; one was helpful. And two trips to Verizon's local Hub store. Verizon holds you hostage: 2-3 business days to evaluate the condition of the return? Why do I care? It was NEVER attempted to deliver. And then 7-10 business days to refund. So Verizon gets my money for two weeks. Good thing that I didn't need a phone, right? NEVER ORDER ONLINE WITH VERIZON. VERIZON BLOWS; THEY'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO SUCK.
