I will say that the lady standing in the front of the store should take lessons from the manager/Supervsior who also stood in front of the store. He was welcoming and ready to greet me but she just stood there and looked at me without saying hello. I hen I asked her if she could direct me on how/where to get in line, she just pointed over to an area but seemed confused about it. Next time, I hope she asks for help so customers aren't waiting in the wrong line or waiting not knowing they needed to put their name on a list. All in all, most of the staff were very kind and ready to help. I always have great experiences at this location as they treat everyone the same and their current staff are all very professional.

When I went to return it, I was told I was outside the 15-day return window and that there was absolutely nothing they could do. I was then informed that if I were an annual paying member, I would have had 60 days instead of 15 -- essentially being penalized for not paying a membership fee. I have spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy over the years and have never returned an item until now. That loyalty apparently means nothing. The store flat-out turned me away. When I called customer service hoping for a reasonable solution, the representative repeated "it's policy" and refused to help. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told all managers were in a meeting at 4:50pm PST -- which felt like a convenient excuse to avoid escalation. I was then told there was nothing else she would do for me. No effort was made to retain a loyal customer, no exception was considered, and no empathy was shown. This experience made it very clear that Best Buy values membership fees over customer relationships. I will never shop at Best Buy again, and I will be sharing this experience with others so they know exactly what to expect.

    The first part of this review is for A,T,&T as a whole, the positive portion of the review is for…read morethe A,T,&T store in Beaumont ONLY, as the customer service for A,T,&T as a whole has fallen dramatically in recent years. I have been with them since 1992 (A,T,&T, then Cingular, then A,T,&T) and have seen the service degrade. On February 7th I ordered a new iPhone Air via in-person shopping at this store. According to the data being displayed, it would be delivered via overnight by February 12th. On February 16th I called 611 to see where my phone was, as it still showed February 12th on the A,T,&T app. The (lack of) customer service rep. stated that it would ship via overnight but the 27th. The explanation was high demand and supply chain issues. On March 6th I called to cancel my order, and was told it was easier to do it on the app, and they would then send me a pre-paid label to send all of the accessories back. What a crappy way to do business. Before I got a chance to cancel the order, I received a text message stating my phone had shipped. Four weeks for something that was supposed to take no more than five days? Now for the good stuff. Since I was now working out of town, I wasn't able to go pick up my phone until today, March 14th. The young man who greeted me, Mark, was congenial and understanding. I told him I was livid with A,T,&T and was contemplating jumping ship to Verizon for my future phone needs (my wife is on Verizon). Mark was undeterred by my less than stellar attitude and began to set up my phone. Within 15 minutes Mark had everything setup and began the data transfer (took 3 hours at home due to the plethora of data and apps on my old phone), all while we engaged in conversation about everything, mostly life in general. Mark is fast, knowledgeable, and an immense asset to the Beaumont A,T,&T store. Nice work, and thank you.

    I called Spectrum early this morning to contract for a new Internet service and after establishing…read morethe service I was advised to the nearest Spectrum store to pick up my new router. I told Daniel, the customer service from San Antonio, Tx that there's one outside our gate on Highland Springs Bl and that he'd make an appointment for me. He sent me a text confirming the 11:15AM appointment and that if early can just come in as a walk-in. I arrived at about 10:45 and logged in at their IPad registry which acknowledged that I was early. The room was full with about 11-12 people waiting and there's only 2employees there - a male and female. After 20 mins while chatting with some of the people there, I noticed that my name does not show up in the Chart board, so I went and logged on again and by that time 4 more people had arrived. Still my name did not show up on the list so I thought those with online appointments are entertained separately, so I decided to log on again and NOT reference my on-line reservation. 30-35 have already gone by and by this time all the remaining people there were people eh came way after me. So I walked into the man who's picture I will post here, and told him that I had already placed an order on the phone and if I just show them my ID, they would hand me a box of router. The man asked me to sign in again and wait for my turn. Obviously a little irritated and feeling the discrimination that this idiotic and rough behaving unprofessional staff member, I told him I've been patiently waiting...if you can't serve me and give my router, I'll just go to Verizon. He shouted: "Go ahead and go to Verizon." I walked out and called spectrum customer service and reported the incident but I'm sure that went nowhere. That man does not deserve to work in the customer service industry.
