Best experience ever at Best Buy! Walked in and the greeter asked what we were looking for. Told him we are here for a dishwasher. Before we even got to the area, a salesperson was greeting us and walking us over to the dishwashers. We had already researched which one we wanted but looked at others just in case. Ordered our dishwasher, set up the installation and pickup and were on our way home in no time. Got a great deal too! Just WOW!! Also, as we wondered around after the sale, about every 10 feet a different person asked if we needed help. Omar helped us look at smart watches - we did not purchase but will be back. They are on their game over at the Beaumont Best Buy. We couldn't have been happier (unless they were GIVING dishwashers away LOL)! read more

I am beyond disappointed with Best Buy and the way I was treated as a long-time customer. I recently purchased an item that turned out to be incompatible with my laptop. When I went to return it, I was told I was outside the 15-day return window and that there was absolutely nothing they could do. I was then informed that if I were an annual paying member, I would have had 60 days instead of 15 -- essentially being penalized for not paying a membership fee. I have spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy over the years and have never returned an item until now. That loyalty apparently means nothing. The store flat-out turned me away. When I called customer service hoping for a reasonable solution, the representative repeated "it's policy" and refused to help. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told all managers were in a meeting at 4:50pm PST -- which felt like a convenient excuse to avoid escalation. I was then told there was nothing else she would do for me. No effort was made to retain a loyal customer, no exception was considered, and no empathy was shown. This experience made it very clear that Best Buy values membership fees over customer relationships. I will never shop at Best Buy again, and I will be sharing this experience with others so they know exactly what to expect. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY. We bought a pool heater from best buy.com and it arrived damaged damaged from FedEx because they carelessly dropped it harshly on our door on the side that said not to place it on that side. It's a $1k product. The Best Buy app said it could bring it back to any store and provided a barcode. It's from a marketplace seller but the app didn't say about any change of procedure because of that. The store in Beaumont CA (the "manager" refused to take it back because it's from a third party seller and said it was too big. Disregarded everything the app said. The manager wouldn't even scan the barcode. This is a terrible company that doesn't care about its customers. Best Buy if you see this, the order number is BBY03-807123154179. To us, all the Best Buys are very similar. But we chose this one because the freeway access was smoother, if not quicker. We had already selected our item online and had it delivered to this store. The staff was quick in retrieving it. The staff would have been quicker in checking us out - if it weren't for the fumbling customers in front of us. On this visit, staff treated us well. read more

On Monday March 30, at 9:50 a.m. the store not yet open the exit side of store front was open to bring out carts an elderly lady with a cane was starting to the exit door. A young female employee ignored her and let get all the way to the exit door and completely ignored her. The employee did not have the courtesy to tell anything until she was already to enter the exit door than rudely stated we are not open yet and shut the exit door in her face. Stated we open at 10:00 it was 9:56. then walked away leaving the handicaped customer standing at the door. A couple of minutes later she opened the entrance side of the store. She did not acknowledge the lady as she took a sit at the sore entrance. The young woman was not good and welcoming her to the store, just sat there and offered not assistance to the customer. Don't know what his name was but I believe this gentleman had hazel eyes, working geek squad area. Once he noticed I was waiting this person took me immediately, which I appreciated. After evaluating the situation of my camera, this person explained to me the best way to handle my problem. (I'm a YouTuber and have very specific needs). I was in need of ink for my printer which I bought here and their stock was so limited. Clear clearly it was important enough that they had because of the urgency of the documents that we needed to print. We were lucky to find one that was actually put back in the wrong place. When I spoke to a manager, she says, oh, it's a corporate thing.There's nothing we can do about it.Which I find really unnerving, of course, if it's a high traffic shop, corporate should be making every attempt to accommodate its customers which doesn't seem like it's what they're doing, so not a good review. read more

My son and I went in to have his tablet repaired. Unfortunately it was going to be the same price or close to it to just buy a new one. (Thank you to Edith for sharing that info before we wasted money on a 4 year old tablet.) We ended up going to check out the Amazon Tablets and were comparing prices. Paul came over to assist us and was so genuine and exceeded our service expectations. He answered my 10 year old son's questions and even gave him solid advice for the tablet to pick. When we went to check out I asked if they had any coupons. He looked up our account and he was able to combine all of our coupons on our account and shared that some were about to expire so good thing we came in today. Our total (including tax) went from $154.84 to $79.41 saving us over $75!!! (We do have the Total Membership from a computer we bought last year.) Paul said he tries to explain to customers how it really pays off to partake in their membership plans and to come in instead of buying online. Paul turned me into a believer! We will be back. Called geek squad and they said the store doesn't have the TV in stock. Called the store and the manager said they need to wait for LG to restock them and it would take a month. Before entering the store, I noticed signage on the front doors regarding mask wearing. Upon entering the store, I noticed clear location markers so I was quickly able to locate the headphones I was looking for. While browsing the headphones section, I appreciated being able to browse a wide selection of items with a variety of price ranges without feeling like employees were hovering. While hubby and I were discussing which item to choose, we were approached by an employee. After engaging in brief conversation, we made our choice and the employee quickly rung up our items. The employee was friendly, engaging and made our shopping experience a pleasure. As we exited the store, were told to have a good day by an employee. If you have to return a TV you must go to the Geek squad counter. I waited 25 minutes to return a defective TV that was an open box purchase. Once the TV was "accepted" the employee asked me to go to another line to complete my purchases. The return had already been accepted online and all that was needed was to scan the return barcode however she refused. Customer service is horrible at this store. read more

I purchased a high ticket TV which was supposed to be delivered today. NO TV has arrived. I called Best Buy to confirm the item will be delivered as promised, but was told they cannot help me because their delivery service is through a 3rd party company, Ontrac. I tried calling the delivery company, but get error messages. BTW, I read the review of the delivery company and they're REALLY BAD! On Yelp, ALL the reviews have a 1 rating. According to the reviews, the company doesn't deliver, thought say they did, and they steal items. I told Best Buy about this, but there was no concern. I even tried cancelling the order, but was told by their customer service agent, who is in the PHILIPPINES, that it cannot be cancelled right now. I'm SOOOO pissed! If you can purchase from another company, do it. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BEST BUY. Their customer care is less than 0, and their delivery company is run by thieves. read more

Bad customer service and representation of the products for sale. I went in to look at iPads. Saw an iPad mini advertised for a price I liked. Asked an employee about it, he quoted me about $200 more than advertised. When I asked why there was a lower price on the sign on the shelf, he told me "oh, that's an older model, we don't carry that anymore" so then why is the sign for it still there?? Fine. I asked about the current gen iPad. He said they had some in stock, and went to go look for it. More than 20 minutes passed and he never came back. I decided to leave, and found him standing by the entrance. He tells me that he's been looking for it but couldn't find it. So why didn't anyone come tell me that? I asked him "fine, what about the iPad Air?" He said they have it, but again quoted me a price that was $200 more than what was on the sign display. I was fed up, and left. read more

I was greeted at the entrance, and ask for help in the car audio section. I was told the day after xmas that they only had 3 people on the floor to help. After waiting for about an hour. I went back the front and the manager told someone standing infant to help me. That geek squad person asked 2 more people to observe. One guy with long blond hair went above and beyond to get my in to get my stereo installed. After i told them that i saw available appointments that day. Finally at the 1.5 hrs later, my car was finally in the bay. I was told by Jamie in the install bay, that i would receive a call when my car was done. What seemed by an hour later i checked my email. And it showed that my car was done, My husband and i walked back to the install bay, where Jamie opened the door with attitude. When he opened the door, and i told him all i received was a email . He was like " I texted you also" Was shoved the receipt paper work on the counter. He was like " I also told you in the text not to come back to the bay. Terrible customer service! I tried calling the store on Friday 6/11/21 and was transferred to a remote customer service rep. I explained I needed to make a purchase over the phone and arrange to have someone pick up the purchase at the store. I was told this would not be a problem. But it was a problem. When my client showed up to the store they would not release the computer to him. I asked 4 times on Friday if the customer service rep was sure I could have my client pick up the product in store and he reassured me It would not be an issue. I provided his name, number and email address. When my client arrived they said their was a "hold" on the product? However, the credit card transaction had cleared. No one could explain what the "hold" was just that they could not release it. Instead they had me cancel out the order and resubmit payment a 2nd time via their online portal. Then when I click on the receipt link I get an error message saying to contact the store rep. Again, when you call the store you are connected wirh a remote person who is not in the store. I was in the middle of explaining the issue to the rep when he just paused the call and put me back on hold where I was printed to start the entire process all over again of waiting and entering the reason for my call! When I spoke with a rep again I had to provide the store zip code I purchased the product from and she proceeded to transfer me to a manager in the actual store branch. Such a huge waste of time! Would have been great to have just been able to calm the branch directly the first time. read more

For customer service and geek squad only. Hamilton badge # 70020 from geek squad and Lauren from customer service. Initially I was going to rate them a 1/5. My mother bought a TV and a dishwasher at this Best Buy and then she paid into the installation plan after buying the TV. She was told that she could refund the installation price of the dishwasher but she would have to go to customer service. We did and we were met with a lot of resistance. Lauren called the manager not long after hearing my mother's request and the manager was sating that it would push back our delivery dates, like that would be a reason to not refund the money right here and now at the store. The manager Hamilton had a very bad attitude. HOWEVER, they changed their demeanors once hearing how bad their customer service ratings were. This shouldn't have been the case. They should have been polite at the start. We found out that it was a lot of work to refund my mother's savings, and Lauren seemed to not know how to do this, the manager had to teach her. Good. Good life experience. The truth is they were resistant because they didn't want to do the work, however, they did change their attitudes in the end and put in the effort. So I saved them some grace and changed my rating to 2/5. read more

" Robert From Geek Squad Gets An A+ " My 11 year old computer at my house started making all kinds of noises and had smells once or twice a day like it was burning. So I called the Geek Squad to have an agent come out to my house to see what was going on. Robert Pipkin a Geek Squad agent was sent to my house. I had 2 pages full of questions for Robert as he check out my computer problems and backed up all of the computers information on a new portable hard drive. Because it took so many hours to back up the computers data, Robert left my house and then came back 5 hours later to finish the hard drive back up. Robert determined that my computer needed to be replaced. I asked Robert to recommend at least 2 types of computers that he thought would be very good for me. I went to the Best Buy in Beaumont, CA and met Miguel who was so super nice as he answered all of my questions and sold me a new HP Envy computer. I had the Geek Squad down load my portable hard drive with all my information from my old computer to my new HP computer. Two days later I went to the Geek Squad counter at the Beaumont Store to pick up my computer from a Consultation Agent Adam Couste. Adam was so professional and nice as he explained everything that the Geek Squad did to me new computer, and what I needed to do to get it up and running. I had Robert come out from the Geek Squad again to take down my old computer, and install my new computer, as he set up everything that I needed. Robert is one of the most knowledgeable, detailed, and caring Geek Squad members I have ever met. Robert did a great job setting me up, and he gets an A+ for all of his work on my old and new computers on his multiple visits to my house. The Geek Squad is definitely worth the yearly investment. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! We are beyond disappointed! We bought a washer and dryer. when it was delivered, the guy bumped it on the wall, denting the washer and my wall. I didn't know until he left and I went in there. It wasn't installed. My furniture is moved all over the house. I have a 240 pound dog so I kind of a need a washing machine! Four days!! when I call i'm on hold for an hour and no one gives a sh!!! It's blatant disrespect and disregard. They are bringing the replacement today, so I called to see if they would install my dryer.
