I've passed by this store numerous times, but for some reason I had never thought that they would sell firearms since there are probably only a handful of pawn shops in the area that do. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and went straight to the counter to take a look at the vast selection that they offered. There were plenty of new and used options but with everything from handguns and revolvers to over/under shotguns and .22 caliber plinking rifles. I'd say a good quarter of the store is dedicated to firearms and ammunition. I was assisted by Anthony, who was very friendly and knowledgable with the firearms that were in stock. We talked about various pieces that were on display, discussed some current gun laws and he even showed me a collectible Side-by-Side Double Barrel Shotgun/Rifle combo that the store has in its private collection. I ended up leaving empty handed, but my experience with Anthony was very pleasant and cordial. I can't really comment on the "Pawn Shop" aspect of the business. Just keep in mind that they are in the business of making money and their business plan is to buy low and sell high.

Wanted to sell some of my old jewelry and came to yelp to find some place local to me, after reading some of these reviews I was a little reluctant to go into rocky's, however I decided to judge for myself and went in. Not knowing anything about the price of gold or any kind of jewelry worth I found that both of the employees there were very informative and educated me on what I had and what it sells for. I expected much worse service based on the reviews here but what pleasantly surprised by the out going personalities. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a need to go there . I didn't buy anything today but plan on going back to buy some tools for my husband :) read more

I am often in need of financial help due to unsteady paychecks. I have often times pawned my items at few pawnshops in Banning. A few months back one of my friends recommended me to Rocky's. They were very helpfull, and polite, and they lent me the money that I needed. One thing that they do different from the other pawnshops that I have used is that you can make payments on the items you brought in to pawn. That made getting my stuff out a lot easier. I have also started using the layaway setup they have as well. Love that too. Hopefull I wont need to borrow money for a while, but if I do I will be going to Rocky's! read more
