Counter representative couldn't even help my wife simply activate a replacement phone because she "wasn't authorized on the account" even though I gave him the Verizon access through the app and I'm at work. It's always these little phone stores that you think are convenient and they turn out to be a huge waste of time to get anything done. My wife was the only customer in the store, which isn't surprising. The representative "didn't want to lose his job" over activating it. Their customer service is a joke and really non-existent. Worst store ever. There was two guys working when I came in to upgrade my phone. I opted for the bigger guy to help me, big mistake. All he sold me were a bunch of white lies and BS. I was told my bill would increase sure, but not 300+! Then I was told my old phone would now have a "free line" and I'd just be paying for my upgraded phones line, but I'm being charged 16 something for it monthly.. for a "free line"?Not sure if it's the commission to blame for all the dishonesty, this guy was worse than a car salesman. Please go to a factory store. I've been with Verizon for over 20 years and this is the worst store I've ever dealt with. The guys in this place lie to you about your trade in, the plans you can get, and just about everything else. I've been to the other branch of this "authorized dealer" in Yucca Valley and those folks were great- well informed and told the truth and helped you get the best deal. These guys in Palm Springs are really the worst and you'll regret going there. I know I do. We traded in 3 phones for new iPhones and when I got my bill I saw that I was being charged as if one of the phones wasn't qualified for a trade in. I came in yesterday after embarrassingly losing my phone at the top of a hike in Joshua Tree. This store is not worth a star. I am a current customer and wanted information about new plans. I was greeted when I arrived and waited while they finished with other customers. When one of the two people finished with their customer, I assumed she would help me. Instead she sent emails, cleaned her phone, chatted with her colleague and never once acknowledged me or stood up to see if there was anyone there - although I was hard to miss since I was standing at the counter. When a new customer entered the store she started to help that person. When I said something I was told she didn't see me and she continued with the new costumer. While on Spring Break Vacation in early April, my daughter's phone needed to be replaced, and unfortunately there was not an actual Verizon Company store close, so we hit up this Victra location as they are marketed as an Authorized Verizon Retailer. It was supposed to be an easy "let's just replace the phone" trip, and I had three kids with me starving for dinner we had reservations for. Over 2 hours later, this store and the rep (I believe it was Michael) managed to completely mess up everything! Sold me on a new plan, early upgrade, streaming services...yada yada and quoted me my new payments, how much up front I had to pay...which is why I moved forward. He totally messed up the early upgrade (just got charged extra $400 on my bill) because he didn't input my trade device that needed to go there. No streaming services (which i didn't actually want anyways) and then some. He had to call his manager multiple times, because he messed up the order and my account, and then had to rope in Corporate as well, who still managed to not initiate the proper trade-in. I have spent countless hours multiple times on the phone with actual Verizon, trying to fix things, initiate trade-in, fix my billing, and now try and rectify a $400 charge that Verizon ultimately said this store needs to make right since they messed it up. I have reached out to the store, and still awaiting German, the manager to call me back since yesterday. The fact that I'm still spending countless hours getting them to try and fix this is madness. Meanwhile...I'm out $400 I never had been told I had to pay. Save yourself and go direct to a Company Store even if it's far. read more

I was with ATT for over 20 years and wanted to make a change in my service and got shitty customer service at their store, so i went straight to verizon to switch to them - what a HUGE mistake. Promises were made by employees at this store that were not kept. They said they would help out with various aspects of switching - im still waiting for that help. I have been back to the store TWICE and have had surly, unhelpful service from 2 different associates. Daniel, who sold me my phone (and who gave me a charger and a case without asking me if i wanted them. So that i thought came with the phone - wrong! I was charged extra for these items!). Daniel was also one of the associates that i saw on my subsequent visit. Yes - surly and unhelpful. WHen he saw that i was unhappy he asked for my phone number and said he would call me back the next day the give me the appropriate information. That was two weeks ago. Have you heard from Daniel? DO NOT BUY A PHONE HERE!!! I purchased an iPhone in July & pre-paid $149.99 for insurance. My phone broke & the insurance said my contract was canceled, after 3 days & a lot of yelling it was finally reinstated, only to be told I had a $150 deductible & they had to put a $700 hold on my credit card before they would send me a replacement phone. I work in a high profile service industry. I appreciate good customer service. Manny M. Has consistently demonstrated professional and extremely helpful service. From the initial sale in May 2014 and currently. Verizon should use his customer sevice skills in a training their associates. Area manager "Sal", on the other hand was so "obviously" preoccupied with his computer, he barely acknowledged me. I literally had to put the phone in his line of vision to get his attention. He gave me approx 2 min ( not exaggerating) of his time, suggested I call "tech support". I left upset, ran into Manny coming from lunch. He resolved my problem RIGHT THEN & THERE! In only 15 min ! & ..... showed me several apps that would me helpful in my business. That means HE LISTENED & showed personal interest. I truly appreciate what you did today. If I could no star I would. RUDE employees who dont want to work unless they're profiting. They all clearly make commission, and will lie through teeth to make a sale. Do not trust these people. Every single time I've been in here they try to scam me into buying all this extra stuff. Insurance (that covers nothing that actually happens), new phones that are supposed to be amazing (both google and galaxy phones) that have fallen apart in less then a year. Buy outs that are all scams. Screen covers with insurance that doesnt actually replace or help. Employees looking to make money off you. RUN AWAY FROM THIS STORE. Especially this location. I've even come in to have a simple phone switch back to my old phone (that was literally in my hand) and they had a billion reasons why they couldnt help without costing me money somehow. They obviously are pressured by their manager on particular sales. It's clear their product knowledge is really minimal as well. Caveat Emptor--Let the Buyer Beware. I thought my phone was dead and took it to the store. The salesman, Sal, was friendly and pressed a few buttons and then said that there was no cure for most iPhone phone problems since the battery was not accessible. He sold us a new phone. Then a friend took the old "dead" phone and simply pressed and held the home and on/off button for a minute and the phone rebooted and returned to life. (Duh! I feel so dumb.) The salesman obviously knew how to do this, but wanted to sell a new phone. When we went back to the store he said iPhones were not returnable, which was also false. BEWARE...This is not an official Verizon WIreless store per Verizon Wireless....they are contracted out. We bought phones what were supposed to be $149, but had to pay $100 in taxes!!! Verizon WIreless corporate tried to call them up when I was in the store and hung up on them! Go anywhere but here to buy your next phone.
