PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE you are gonna get tricked and scammed! Me and my husband went here to upgrade my phone and Dominic was the one who assisted us. While his getting the new phone he was explaining to us that my new phone cost and we agreed. After that He started to install cameras, screen protector, and even telling a story that a truck driver broke his phone because he left his phone on the dash board without the casing that will protect the phone to be damaged by the sun. Then he install the casing! We thought that whatever he was installing to my phone was included then he charged us for extra $350. When we refused to pay his making a lot of drama and excuses that you should have known that this is not included and blah blah blah. First, we are not working at Verizon how we will know whats included and what is not included! If you really care about your customer you are going to inform them not to trick them! I came in to simply get a new SIM card and Dominic acted like there was no way to get it fixed and I needed to upgrade my phone instead. He acted like he was offering me all of these perks that were for free, only to find out he made SO many unauthorized changes to lines that I wasn't even there to get help with. He added subscriptions that I NEVER asked for. He lied and said they were part of my plan. Because of changes he made to multiple lines, I am now forced to pay a higher amount just to get back on the original plan I was on before he made all of these unauthorized changes. I truly feel bad for all of the senior citizens that were there at the same time as me to get assistance. I can only imagine how badly they get scammed. Monday, September 15th a man named Nicky called me claiming he was assigned my business Verizon account. We set up an appointment to look over my account and see how it could be improved. I met him at the store located at 5001 E. Ramon Rd. He claimed there was a special happening in which Verizon was gifting me a new Modem that was faster then the one I had and I would only be responsible to pay for the sales tax. I believed him even though I did not need a new modem. He did fix a few issues with my phone and I trusted him. It was a SCAM! I have been attempting to get hold of him for months. I have called Verizon customer service repeatedly without any success. I am being billed monthly for a device that has a payoff figure of $388 that I only agreed to because it was suppose to improve my speed (which is does not) and was FREE! This is how you lose a customer whom has been with your company for over 6 years. If you are a business owner and fell for this same scam, please reach out to me. I will be seeking a class action lawsuit against Verizon. Spectrum, each year, has come to my store asking me to switch. They have offered me some really good deals and each time I have been loyal to Verizon. I am so disgusted and saddened by what you did Nicky. I went there to upgrade my phone. After 40 minutes of waiting, I gave up and left. There were three workers servicing customers, and I was the first person in line. Well, there really was no organized line. The customers had to form it themselves. No one acknowledged me. No one said, "Thank you for your patience, we'll be with you as soon as we can." The sales people spent too much time trying to upsell customers that were being helped. It was a really frustrating experience. I went home and order online, but wasted an hour. Two other people left as well in the time I was waiting. Doesn't take much to acknowledge someone and thank them for waiting. Go elsewhere. Terrible service. Someone was definitely in the back room as well. That person should have came out and helped people. I do expect to wait, but they need more staff. To make customers wait over 40 minutes is ridiculous. Such bad service. read more

I wanted to purchase a new phone - I already have a JetPack. Took the JetPack with me in case they needed the number for that or anything else. Looked up my account, but then couldn't help me because I don't have a PIN setup -- and told me to contact Verizon. I'd have just created a new account -- my primary phone is broken and I need a backup -- and now! Not all staff are knowledgeable and felt my time and loyalty was not appreciated or respected. I have been with Verizon for over 10 years and this past year the Verizon service, and customer service, has taken a turn for the worse. It took over an hour on 1st visit and over 2 hours on the next day to upgrade to new phone and watch and still there were issues. I emailed Cameron Wilson, the District Manager, apparently he doesn't want to speak directly with customers, on Oct. 6th - no response, tried again on Oct. 22nd. Still no response. Horrible experience. We have been trying to upgrade a phone for the last 3 months. We have visited the store over 10 different times. Waste 1 to 2 hours everytime and still no resolution. They have admitted to their mistake and have offered to let me keep my accessories, big deal 50 bucks! After all the aggrivation and time waste we been going through. I love the reception but this issue has me contemplating cancelling the entire buisness plan. The guys at the store dont seem to know what they are doing. The story changes every visit. The manager gets involved when there but has not changed. I have filed a complaint directly with verizon. We will see how that goes. read more

You walk in there is no one telling you to sign in so you wait. Then they call a name off a list talking people in front of you. I purchased my phone from them at this location was told my phone cleaning spray was free refills. I go in there to get refilled they look up account which shows the free refill then I'm told they don't do that. This is after they read it to me. I went into my local Verizon Retailer at Gene Autry & Ramon in Palm Springs to upgrade my iPhone and immediately felt welcome and attended to. I signed in and before I could sit down a gentleman named Bryan began assisting me! I am not comfortable with technology - especially new applications and most technology devices. I will partly blame my age for this technology "phobia." Also, not having children (in my view) is a kind of techno disadvantage. My point is that Bryan made my iPhone-X upgrade experience as comfortable as possible! He transferred every single application, photo, contact list, you name it - ALL THERE on my beautiful new phone! Bryan was truly exceptional to work with. He answered any, and ALL my questions & concerns fully. The accessories that I needed Bryan had them out on the counter for me to see all that possible to enhance and protect my new phone. Finally, Bryan even checks back with a text now and again to see how my experience is going with Verizon service and the great phone! I have only Yelped one other time...this review was the least I could share for ALL Bryan & Verizon did for me!! read more

I don't like being mislead. I was told by the sales staff that when I switched from AT&T to Verizon, I would be eligible to receive a $200 gift card by signing up online within 30 days. So I switched my Iphone 7 to Verizon and submitted the information. I get an email notification that my iphone7 was NOT eligible for this offer. WHY MISLEAD A CUSTOMER TO BAIT AND SWITCH ONLY TO HAVE AN UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER???? THEY KNEW I HAD A 7 AND NOT THE 6 OR 6s which is what the promotion was for? WHY DID THEY EVEN BOTHER TO TELL ME ABOUT IT??? Now, after expecting the $200, I will get nothing. I am waiting to see if Verizon customer service will step up to the plate, but I seriously doubt it. I would have rather them tell me nothing, so I dont feel cheated. Verizon customer service (both regular customer service, and the rebate program) both suggested to me that I call the store to see what they could offer me. I told them "I am not an employee of Verizon. Why do you want ME to train YOUR sales team? That is YOUR job. I went there Friday 13th during my lunch for help with my phone screen not turning back on after an update. (Amy) assisted me and told me there is nothing they can't do there and instead of re-direct me to a corporate Verizon store and not a retail store like them she offered to call Asurion for me. After spending my whole lunch hour there on the phone with Asurion she then ended the call and left me standing there and went inside where her manager was and came back out. I had to ask her what happen? What do I do?. She responded "nothing they will call us back so leave me your number and we will let you know". (work number) They have no training at all. They don't know what to do when someone has a question. At 6:30PM I drove all the way to La Quinta corporate Verizon store and the helpful lady who knows what she is doing fixed my phone right there and then within 2 minutes. But in order to get that, I had to be pitched a tablet, and in order to check out they wanted my name, my phone number, my email address... When I said I'd rather not give my email address and that I was already on enough mailing lists, "oh, having a bad day?" All I wanted was a cable. I shouldn't have to give them my favorite color and my blood type just to buy a cable. I see a pattern in their reviews. If you're coming in to buy a phone they are down with it. Hubby got a call to come on down to talk to them, because they might have a newer plan that would save us some money. The first thing that hit me was their recent remodeling. The store has comfy seating and stools placed in front of their desks. Good going guys. It was always so hard for me to stand very long conducting business. I had a new unlocked phone and only needed to get a sim card and set it up on Verizon. Service was great and patient. Cost me nothing. Every other customer that came in the store was greeted promptly and seemed to be treated well. Zero problems. After one month I lowered my opinion of the store. The agent in the store quoted me a price for my service that was far lower than what it really turns out to be. My actual ongoing bill will be about 30% higher than I was told it would be. read more
