We spent quite a bit of time today in this Verizon Retail store deciding what new phones to get. We have used iPhones for the longest time and while we briefly considered Pixel phones, we went with an iPhone Xs for T and an Xr for me. The service we received from everyone in this store today was fantastic! The young people were ALL courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and diligent in helping us with our decisions. They cheerfully answered question after question, gave us gentle guidance, and made the tedious process of buying new phones pleasant! After the first hour or so, we were like old friends! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!!!! This Premium Retailer is full of liars, crooks & cheats. Steven the manager, Dolce & Ronnie hustled me and screwed me into a defective refurbished phone. I went in on January 19 & signed a new two year contract & purchased the LG Vista, which was free after mail in rebate from Dolce. The first "new" phone they gave me was already synced to and logged in under someone else. Apparently it has been sold on 1/08 & returned.I requested a new phone immediately. The next phone I got was defective. I went back before the 14 return period to exchange it. Ronnie, a sales rep told me that he couldn't do the exchange, only Steven the manager could, who conviently wasn't there. He also told me I had 30 days (so up till the 19th of February) to return the phone & that he would make notes in the account that I was there. A few days later I got a letter & email from Verizon Rebates that my rebate was denied because the phone was refurbished. I attempted to return the phone today (2/16) & that was not possible because I was outside of the 14 day period & the only thing they could do was make a warranty claim & and get another refurbished phone. There was also no mention or notes that I had come in prior to the 14 day return period & was told I had 30 days. I am livid that I was lied to & fucked out of a new phone. This store is full if liars & cheats that will tell you anything. This is not the first time my family has been hustled by these crooks. Do not get taken for a chump by these people. This location and the location on Alessandro in Riverside are both owned by a company called Victra that is only authorized by Verizon to sell their products which allows them to charge what ever mark up they want, and third you won't have an answering service intercepting your calls and filtering them before they will connect you to the store location. Try it yourself, call this location (951-242-3334) or the location in Riverside off Alessandro you will first have to speak with a third party answering service that will ask your name and reason for calling before they connect you to the actual store they are super rude and will leave you on hold if the reason for calling pertains to customer service. So how do you know the store you go to is an ACTUAL VERIZON RETAILER simple you will see a Verizon kiosk to pay Verizon bills at the store. Typically these locations are also more uniformed I would also call the location to confirm they are an ACTUAL VERIZON RETAILER, or check the Verizon wireless website before purchasing to make sure products are the same price at the website. any way if you took the time to read this congratulations you saved yourself some time money and headaches read more

I had visited this store once before and was impressed so thought we would try it again. They didn't disappoint When we got home we had trouble with the Apple ID sign in and jp helped try to guide us over the phone and actually called us back two other times with some troubleshooting ideas. Beware!!!!! I visited 12761 Moreno Beach Dr., Suite 102 Moreno Valley, CA 92555, April 25, 2020 and I will never return here again. Poor customer service and their lack of communication is horrible. Angelica was of course super friendly towards me and slick because she failed to tell me I was being charged for some Membership of $29.99. Furthermore, as she was assisting me, she told me that she didn't have the phone I wanted but that she would contact another store location 497 E. Alessandro Blvd., Suite C1, Riverside, CA 92508 to see if they had it. This particular store had it. She and Jasmine from the Alessandro store both agreed that as soon as she was done with the contract and receiving my payment that I would drive over to the Alessandro store where Jasmine would be waiting for me to pick up my phone that I already paid for. I get to this store and no one is there. The store is locked up, gated and light off. Angelica had already turned my old phone off, therefore, I had no way of contacting Angelica to tell her what was going on. Unbeknownst to me, I check my bag and she adds a $64.99 screen protector in their and then charges me for it. I am very dissatisfied, disappointed and upset by their shady characteristics. I communicate with my phone all day for work purposes and I was without a phone Sunday 25th and Monday 26th, missing out on important financial matters with my employer. I am beyond angry and I am overwhelmed with frustration from this company. I would like to have some answers regarding this along with returning all products. I want to start by saying the Verizon team at this store really are life savers!! I went Monday 12/23/2019 to add my parents on my plan and upgrade my husbands and myself to iPhone 10s. The store closes at 9pm and Angelica stayed till midnight to help us transfer my dads phone. It took me 4 trips to a metro pcs AND a corporate store and finally back to Verizon all in a weeks worth. Angelica was SUPER patient and so helpful she finally got my dads phone to work. She saw how upset I was and just about to give up she worked her magic and got my dads phone to transfer. My wife and I were new to the area and were frustrated that it was so hard to find inexpensive internet, so we went on down to the Verizon Wireless store to what they could do. It was on a Sunday so it was sort of busy when we got there. We waited about 20mins to be helped, which wasn't so bad because we got to play crossword games on the iPads. Sometimes cell phone stores get a bad rap on a count of insecure people coming into the store and feeling threatened by a salesman. However, because of our associate Edger, this place definitely deserves a good rating. Edger really helped us find the best fit for our needs... Plus he spent nearly 4 hours with us! Since we aren't total tech heads, and haven't done a lot of big purchases like these before, we had a ton of questions to ask him. But with each question, he not only showed that he new his stuff, but he wasn't rushing, annoyed, or impatient with us. We felt that he was sincere and honest as he was explaining things to us, and even though we didn't go with all the bells and whistles, he still treated us the same even after the, "Well, I think we'll just stick to the phones for today..." line. (We did end up getting some pretty nice cases for our phones though). We had a smooth time and even when my wife asked for water (we were there for 4 hours remember?), he offered myself a glass and quickly rushed back to bring us two cups of ice cold water. This is what good customer service is: taking the time with the customer, educating them on the product, getting them the best products for their needs, and having a friendly experience along the way. 3/31/15: Steven was finally removed from the store, so hopefully everything works out for any new customers. Apparently he was doing shady things, finally caught up. 2/5/15: Second fiasco to happen with this store. We had purchased a 15GB plan that was suppose to start on our new billing cycle (which starts today) and our plan was still the same old GB plan of 6GB. I called Verizon Customer Service and they verified that we were never upgraded to a 15GB plan like we were originally told would happen on the new billing cycle. Also we were being charged for an iPhone 4 we never purchased; our Jetpack (mobile hotspot) was upgraded to the iPhone 4 when we had asked them to cancel it. Instead they upgraded it and it never showed up on our receipt. Customer Service said that smaller stores like this were known to pull tricks like this and that this should not have happened to begin with. If you need any help with Verizon services it's just best to go to a Corporate Store so you don't have to deal with all this sneakiness. 1/21/15: For 4 days I have been trying to exchange a phone I didn't like before the 14 day trial period was over and was told the phone I wanted would arrive "tomorrow". That the order was put in and it would be here "tomorrow" on four separate occasions. The manager Steven even offered to pick up the phone personally so that I may have it next day, never gave me a call back with any status. Was told by Steven the phone would come in today after 3 and again was told by Dulce it wasn't there that they would try to get it TOMORROW. Was told I would get a call back as confirmation saying that it would definitely be in and got nothing. We opened 8 lines with the same people who kept telling me TOMORROW and instead of being helpful and honest I've been given the run around, but I'll be getting my phone "tomorrow". read more

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL VERIZON STORE! That makes a BIG difference!!! I decided to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon. I started out at one Verizon store in Riverside, but a very intense manager made me reconsider. I left, not realizing she had run a sale on my card before I got out the door and with no phone to show for it. I felt bad for the salesperson because he had really been the one to sell me on the phone and I didn't want him to miss out on his commission. He asked me if I would go to this Moreno Valley store, and they would process the commission under his name. I agreed. That's where the trouble began. When I came to this Verizon "premium retailer," I worked with Steven, the manager. At first, everything seemed too good to be true! He asked what my conversation with the previous salesperson had been, and I clarified that I'd had the option of purchasing my phone outright with two-year contract (an out of pocket charge of about $200) with a monthly bill of just a bit over $60 per month, or to pay taxes and SIM card only (an out of pocket charge of $57) with a monthly bill of $27 more per month with the Edge program. I told Steven I would rather pay for the phone upfront. He had Dulce work on the paperwork, and then he walked around the store grabbing things off the shelves and placing them in a bag. He said these free items were to make up for my bad experience, and he hoped this would be a good one. He put into the bag: An extra pair of earphones, a phone case, an extra charger, a screen protector, and something called a Selfie Stick. I went home and felt pretty good about it... Until about five or six days later, when I checked my bill online. Suddenly, the bill that was supposed to be about $67 per month was $107--a full $40 more than I had been expecting. I called the store directly, and Steven passed me off to Dulce, who spoke with Verizon customer service. Dulce said that my bill was supposed to be $60, PLUS $27 for the Edge. I kept insisting emphatically that I had paid for the phone outright, and Dulce became upset and put Steven on the line. Steven was then confrontational, insisting that the $198 I paid in-store encompassed both taxes and a signup fee. That night, I went and looked into the Verizon Edge program. Verizon's website (http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/verizon-edge-faqs/) says, "Verizon Edge monthly payments will vary depending on the price of the device, but there's no finance fee or upgrade fee to join the program." I then called Verizon directly and explained the situation to the representative. He said it sounded very strange that they had charged me an up-front fee, and on my request he called the store while I was on hold. When he got back on the line, he said he had spoken with Dulce, who said $150 of the $198 WAS PAYMENT FOR ACCESSORIES!!! THE ACCESSORIES I WAS TOLD WERE FREEBIES!! I told the representative about this, and he became very serious and said he had heard of the Premium Retailers doing this before. He advised me to go back and return the "free" items. He said to have the store call Customer Service if there were any issues, and he made a very extensive note regarding my call. I went to the store within 20 minutes of the call. When I first went in, Steven was not going to accept a return of the items he had given me for free. He then REFUSED to call Customer Service, and told me that he was going to ask me to leave the store if I kept on. I then called Customer Service (since Steven refused) and told them the entire situation and about the note that had been put on the account by the previous representative. I told the rep that Steven refused to call Customer Service from the store and requested they call the store directly and speak with him. Steven picked up the call and placed it on hold. I was visibly upset about the situation (as I'm sure you can imagine), and another representative who was working with a Spanish-speaking man began talking about me in Spanish to him (apparently they didn't think a white girl would understand), saying that I was crazy and was making trouble. I let it slide because I needed to focus. When Steven started talking to the representative, he was belligerent at first, then started making excuses, then finally seemed to understand the gravity of the situation. After he hung up, the Customer Services rep came back on my line and told me that Steven would only take the accessories back if I also gave the phone back. At this point, I was fine with whatever got me out of this terrible deal. I returned all accessories and the phone. I ended up going to a REAL Verizon store and purchasing the same phone, at roughly the same out-of-pocket payment ($212 versus $198), and my monthly bill went from $107 to $69. By going with an ACTUAL Verizon store, I am saving $912 over the next 24 months!! SAVE MONEY, DO NOT SHOP HERE! THEY ARE CROOKS WHO WILL LIE, CHEAT, AND STEAL!!! read more

Watch out. Lot of fast talking goes on. I had to replace my iPhone as it would no longer charge. I t initially thought this shop was a Verizon store not a 3 rd party dealer. I usually only go to the Verizon stores so I don't get swindled. Shame on me for trusting an authorized dealer. Oscar told me it would cost me as much to replace my battery as it would to get a new phone. I felt I had no choice but to replace my phone. Since I had to get a new phone there was a special where I could buy one get one. I didn't need another phone but after being "encouraged" to take advantage of this deal. So I decided I would get another phone for my sister. Then he kept encouraging to also get a tablet and all I would have to pay for was the monthly fee of $10. Not true. I am being charged not only the monthly service fee I am paying on the device. Of course this isn't made clear until I get my first bill.also the fee for my sisters phone is more than what they quoted me. My sister is on a budget and what they estimated the cost is what she can afford. Apparently if they find you a discount and convince you to add on a device they then justify the misquoting on the fact that they found you discounts so I. Reality you aren't really paying those amounts. Mind you I had an amplifier discount the new discount they found me was only about $10 more. So they are quoting me a savings of $49 but in reality I'm only saving $10. Do the extra money I'm paying for a device that I didn't want or need but came across as such a great deal how could I pass it up isn't a great deal. I called the manager Javier to complain and wow can he repeat the same nonsense in multiple ways. His biggest justification was we got you discounts. I called Verizon for clarification and what the store told me is different than what Verizon told me. Javier said I shouldn't have called them I should have called him directly. Verizon said I should return the tablet since it was less thAn 40 data. The store refused saying I only had 10 data to return. Be very careful! Buyers beware!!!! Thank you Victra. Not at all happy with the service I received today. I took my mom in to get a iPhone, specifically, which I told the associate. My mom has not had a smart phone before and the associate said there were basic phones and proceeded to show us the phones. We selected one of the basic phones, but was not told it wasn't an iPhone, which I had specifically requested. It was not until the paperwork was completed that I noticed that it wasn't. I told her we didn't want that phone and she acted like we couldn't change the order. Her co-worker stepped in and told her she could cancel the order. Both workers were rude and the associate "helping" us obviously needed more training as she seemed to need help with every step. In addition I asked about getting my mom an iPad and was told they don't have iPads anymore. Instead my mom is signed up for a used tablet (again was not told it was pre-owned, found that out on the paperwork). The two employees we encountered were rude and the associate "helping" us clearly did not know what she was talking about. I purchased a phone on May 30 and they took my broken phone and were going to send it in as required but they never did. I called the store numerous times sent emails that I received from Verizon regarding not receiving the phone and nobody would help me. Able the manager has an attitude and still not call me back in regards to correcting the matter. I finally called Verizon and told him the whole story for the fourth time and they corrected the issue since the store refuse to. Zero customer service except when selling you items. Update: they contact me after this review "since you got your refund from Verizon can you take down the review on yep?" I didn't get the refund from this store, I got it from calling Verizon. I will never get any devices from this store ever again. I went in to upgrade both my lines and was told that because I had a "government" discount instead of a military discount they'd switch it for me. Cool. Then I was told as part of adding a new line/military discount on my account it looks like it's brand new & I'd be eligible for a promotion they're running where I was able to get 2 tablets & my phone for "free". The guy showed me what my bill would look like, which was about $173. Cool. He said it could take up to 3 billing cycles for that promotion to reflect on the account. Cool. Well here I am 3 billing cycles later with no promotional pricing, still paying for the tablets and the data, and now with the manager and corporate telling me there's no such promotion. Instead of taking the L & taking personal responsibility for the associate either blatantly lying to me to sell me stuff OR even sugar coating it and saying our bad for the breakdown in communication, let me take those tablets as a return and not charge you any restocking fees.... these mf's have the audacity to keep repeating "well that's not a valid promotion" on a loop and tried to charge me restocking fees and push me to keep the tablets. Wrong. I'm going back in again today after I cussed the manager out over the phone last night & they're going to take the tablets, fix my problem, eat the restocking fees, or I'll shut my account down. End of discussion. I highly suggest you walk into a corporate store & avoid Victra operated stores. Clearly this is not a reputable establishment, nor is it a store where anyone knows what good customer service means. They also force you to buy overpriced phone cases and screen protectors to go with the phone you upgrade to as a "package" that you have no option to decline. Furthermore, whoever rang my stuff up and started my new line up messed it up so bad that I ended up with two separate account with duplicate lines on them. I had to call corporate to have them fix that mess. I also lost over a month's worth of photos and a bunch of personal data that I wasn't able to recover during the switch between my old phone and new phone despite the fact that I did an iCloud backup IN THE STORE BEFORE I HANDED MY PHONE OVER. Lastly, when I upgraded and used the BOGO Free promo, they told me I had to buy a more expensive phone first in order to get the free iPhone XR because "it wouldn't make sense to let you buy an XR and then get one free". Well guess what, I went on the Verizon Wireless site & it literally said you could buy an iPhone XR & get another XR for free. Lie some more. Luckily for them, my husband is attached to his phone and won't give it up. They'll be lucky if I don't find the time to report them to the BBB and crawl so far up corporate's ass people get fired, return every damn thing I bought, and see them in small claims for any remaining charges they think I'm playing on. The Manager Nicolas is unprofessional, says he will do things and never does. There was supposed to be a $60 credit added to my account months ago. after going into the store, calling and leaving multiple messages by the time I was able to get a hold of him he couldn't remember why he had said he would do that (but the team member I had spoke with earlier that same day remembered me to the T). He said he would take care of it and still never did, even had the audacity to get snappy with me when I remained calm but slightly irritated. I work customer service and know how hard it can be, I would never be that customer who's disrespectful. This was all due to when I came in initially to add a line and to replace my IPhone 6 that just magically stopped working for me... the charges and what had to be paid upfront was discussed as one amount then new phones in hand ended up being significantly more and the team member who rang us up added multiple accessories we never got or asked for, just a bit shady...
