They were seriously trying to scam my family! We came to this Verizon location because we wanted to upgrade to the iPhone 12 Pro and they happened to have a BOGO Free deal! We were excited, but of course there was a catch. We can't own the phones until after a 24 month contract. That's no big deal. Here's where it gets weird. We asked prior if they were in stock of all iPhone 12 Pro colors. THEY LIED! They said they were fully stocked of all the colors. Once we actually sat down inside the store and started the process, they told us they were out of stock of gold. My parents ended up waiting 3 days for their phones because they had to get it mailed instead - even though we asked prior if they had the color in stock! Why would they lie? But here's where they were really starting to scam us. The nice salesman was being very deceiving. He would say "I normally don't do this, but we'll throw in some phone cleaners and USB-C charging bricks for free!" Sounds good, right? WRONG. He was lying. Once we were content with our visit, my mom asked for a receipt. The worker refused and said they only do receipts via email to save paper. So once we got home, my mom saw the emailed receipt charged us over $160 for the cleaning materials and charging bricks! He said it was free! They also double charged us for a more expensive plan than we originally agreed on. They scammed us. We called over the phone and they still refused to admit what they did wrong. They finally agreed to give us a refund for the $160+ charge, take back the charging cables, and let us keep the cleaning materials for free. DO NOT come to this location. It is seriously not worth the heartache and arguments between your family. This seriously ruined my day after hearing my father yelling about it all day. Just get your phones online because these people are only here to scam you, lie to you, and overcharge you. read more

Deceiving sales tactics. Gave us "free" cleaning kits and charging cubes but then charged us for them. When confronted, rather than apologizing they tried to say those items come bundled. Followed by another lie by saying those item were added but then the phones were subsidized. I was charged full price for the phone, they were not subsidized! I've never dealt with this type of deceiving sales tactics. read more

Came in yesterday to start a new contract with 5 lines. Isaiah was AWSOME! He was patient, thorough and was trying to get us the best deal. Mind you it was 5 of us all putting in our input, and making changes back and forth and he was very understanding. Charles was great too assisting Isaiah. Best experience I've had at a phone company. As you guys know getting a new contract and new phones can be overwhelming but Isaiah and Charles made it so easy definitely going back! read more

Visit a different store!! Their customer service at this location sucks!!! The manager just sits in his chair all day and is no help!! I've been to this store twice with technical issues and they sent me on my way saying there is nothing they can do, that I would have to call customer service. When I call customer service they said my technical issues could have been handled in store and I could have avoided an hour wait time!!! This happened TWICE!!! Horrible, just horrible got the displeasure of meeting Thomas for the second time. How ever the first time I was being help by a very nice young man Charles pleasure doing business with you.. Thomas first of it was about 3-330pm maybe on 07/20/2020 came in to pick up my Apple Watch that Charles help me out with, no one was here doors locked, no gone out for lunch sign, nada nothing. I have been tracking my Apple Watch on fed ex like anyone who's ever bought anything that needs to be delivered noticed it was delivered morning 9-10 am it's now afternoon and no one has called me or texted me to let me know my watch is here ( that's ok I have been tracking it) I get to the store no one is there. I'm making my way back to my car I see a white Infinity pull up i waited to see if it was any of the SALES associates no one got out of the car for a few minutes. As I'm pulling out of the parking lot I see a big buy get off the white car it was Thomas (obviously waiting for me to leave). I come back after having lunch there's a woman inside was told 1 customer in at a time ( I get it covid ) but when you tell a potential client they should wait outside you should do it with a nice tone not like a total A$$. Ok what ever I'll wait. Now I'm told the package JUST got here a few minutes ago LIES. I've been tracking it. Now I can't get my watch for what ever technical reason. Might be true might not but after all that crap I had it i asked for my money or my watch to where he now says my acct just became passed due, ok what does that have to do with my Apple Watch. What ever add the money to my acct of I can't have my watch. He can't add the money to my acct with out his GM? All I want is either my Apple Watch or my money. I'll take my business else were. Do not shop here. Richard B. out and out lied to me about several promotions. My husband and I went in to get him a phone and add his line to my account. This associate sold us a Hum device and a new tablet and gave me a written quote stating my new bill would be less than my existing bill. Nothing could be further from the truth. Not great customer services Walked in to there store said they were about to close told them I was just waiting for my son because he wanted to open a line and get a new iPhone. Stopped in to take a look at some phones while I was in the area earlier today and walked out with a new IPhone 7+. Jairo Torres was very friendly, super helpful and had a great sense of customer service. I didn't feel rushed or pressured as sometimes you can feel like that when you walk into a store. I loved the fact that I didn't have to wait a ridiculous amount of time like at some locations. Looking at phones can be much like buying a car so I really appreciated the fact that he wasn't trying to hurry me up or hustle me. That was a true plus!! The best Verizon store. I was not aware that Verizon stores and Verizon "4g wireless" stores were under different systems. 4g wireless stores are indirect Verizon stores, and are run under a different corporate. Most of the workers there solely get paid off commission so they are extremely sketchy and pushy in order to make a sale. So after being repeatedly lied and cheated to by a 4g wireless store I went to, I came into this one. The guys that work here are extremely helpful, patient and assisted me with dealing with the first store who locked my account because I wanted a refund for a phone that was lost... Special shout out to tony who was the one to help me in this ordeal! read more

I preordered the galaxy s5, came in when they told me they would have it and when they tried to activate the phone I was told there was a glitch and that it would be resolved the next day. Came in the next day to pick up the phone and was told that the issue remained and that rather it would take a week to resolve. And instead of apologizing for the inconvenience the gentleman helping me said it was common. Well great, so glad I'm just like all the other unhappy verizon customers. read more

Worst experience ever. They are all nice people. They get 4 stars for being nice and for helping me lower my plan cost, but the rest of the experience I give negative stars. It feels like their goal is to push you to buy whatever deal they have at the time, even if it doesn't suit you, and make it seem like you're getting great deal without making it clear what you're actually getting until its too late. I guess thats what you have to do in sales which is why I usually only buy phones online and never go into the store.They sold me a package of accessories that were all poor quality and they had excuses of why I couldn't return them both times that I came in to return them. They signed me up for a 2year contract for a tablet without explicitly telling me that I was signing a contract when I agreed to accept the tablet which is also poorer quality than I would've purchased on my own. I don't even get upset easily but I hate that I ever walked into that place. I left feeling good but am getting more frustrated with every new discovery that I was deceived. And, one Sunday morning I came at 9am to return the stuff and the shop was closed. The sign on the door says 9am. Google maps said 9am. i waited 20min, no one showed up. I came back another day, and the woman said "oh, we open at 10am on Sunday". No apology for the wait. I suggested maybe changing the sign on the door and she just looked at me. I'm never going back. My co-worker told me after the fact, that she had the same nightmare experience when buying phones for her family but great experiences at other verizon stores. Transparency and keeping the customer's preferences in mind so I can make the best purchase for my needs isn't too much to ask. Uggh. read more

The absolute worst experience here , I'm on a very tight schedule so the 1 day I have free to come and upgrade my phone the manager of the store was an hour and 45 minutes late to open the store, there's a reason people arrive early, they have things to do. Anyways there was a line of people waiting at the door and in this heat oh lord I was raged !! Then too top it off with the waiting , the lady doing my upgrade was adding stuff to my bill from otter box and screen protectors to car chargers and no no no !!! I don't need all that crap and when she asked me I had told her no ! That I did not want them ! I had to remind her 4 times !!!!! Attention all customers PLEASE DON'T SHOP at wireless plus riverside, near Central and the regal movie theater. Its It's not a real Verizon wireless store. Their customer service is from the pit of hell. I had to be talking to satan himself when Julio stood up and threatened me. All because I was unhappy with the stores lack of customer service. When this man threatened me, I wasn't sure if Julio was going to knock my head off my shoulders or beat with the tablet I wanted to leave. Julio became increasingly angrier when I told him that he was disrespectful, very unprofessional, and he shouldn't talk to his elders in a rude & intimidating maner. I couldn't understand why Julio took this situation so personally. Then I asked him do you talk to your Mother, in a threatening and intimidating maner? This must have made Julio even more angrier, because he then told me was going to call security on me. If I didn't take the tablet. So waited for security. The security arrived and didn't agree with Julio. Julio went back into store once he found out that the security couldn't support his foolishness, of intimidated and threatening a customer for no reason. I'm not sure why Wireless plus hired this man who becomes intimidating and threatening if a customer says I'm leaving my product at the store. Julio even took the situation to a another level, by saying he was going to make me take the tablet home, by standing up over me .This behavior is very scary. If my 2 daughters didn't come over to see what was going on. Because they heard this man yell, threatened, and saw Julio stand up over me, as if he was going to hit me. I'm not sure what would have happened if I was by myself. Wireless plus does not care about Verizon customers. They charge ridiculous fees for everything that verizon does not. Their customer service is from the pit of hell. Wireless plus IS NOT A REAL VERIZON WIRELESS STORE. I shouldn't have been intimidated and threatened by Julio a store employee if I wanted to leave my merchandise at the store. At end of the day I'm responsible for the tablet's bill, not Julio.
