Bought some Red Wing Work shoes along with some anti fatigue insoles spend $274.00 dollars total. Shoes now are ripping from the front and one of the shoes were coming unglued. What really made me spend more money with Red Wings on work shoes is because of their lifetime return policy warranty , which they warranty to repair or replace your shoes., six months latter I returned with the shoes I purchased to be repair or replace as the warranty says or at least that's what I was told by the sales person at the time. I brought my boots in to have them cleaned and new tuff tow put on. The customer service was not good and when i got them back they didn't put all new tuff toe on, they just filled in the messed up part of the last tuff toe i had. Also the quality of the tuff toe they put on is horrible, it is paper thin and has bubbles. I will not go back to that store and I will be telling all other people to go to a different location, even if it's a bit of the drive. I came in cause I always wanted a pair of moc toes but could never pull the trigger so I decided to treat my self and picked up a pair. I went with the 1907's and I couldn't be happier, if your gonna buy boots why not one of the best. I came in and they measured me and fitted me and brought out a pair for me to try on. Once I put these on, that was it, they're coming home. The sales men were amazing, they walked me thru the steps of care and maintenance which I really appreciate. I've been told the break in process was a nightmare but they're pretty comfy as is so if they're only gonna get more comfy after they're broken in then I'm super stocked. We dropped off two pairs of Redwings work boots to be condition on Saturday. At drop off we where told they would call us when they where done. We received no call on Sunday or Monday and finally just had to go in a take them back Monday night and they still had not been worked on. My husband was going to bring in all of his pairs and I'm very glad he didn't. He would not have been able to work. I can understand needing a day, but two going on three is ridiculous. We have been purchasing redwings for about three years now. My husband has religiously purchased red wings only with out fail twice a year. Every Christmas I get a pair of leather fuzzy slip ons from redwings. We come into a redwings (San Bernardino and Upland) every three months for boot conditioning and the occasional sole replacement. We have had experience with them before. We love the brand. We really couldn't recommend the brand enough, but I would not recommend this location. We have never had to wait more than 45 minutes for a pair of boots to be reconditioned even during their Black Friday sale. Having to wait days was a huge inconvenience and makes it difficult for someone that NEEDS work boots. We're going to continue to frequent San Bernardino and Upland and avoid this store. read more
