I've been going to Z&M Tailoring for years (since the original owner owned the business - he had the whole corner of the building then). I drive across town to get a suit altered, and as I'm getting ready to walk in, the salesman is walking out and he locks the door behind him. I'm standing there with my suit in my hands, and I ask him, "Are you closing?" He said, "No... I'm going to lunch... come back in an hour." I said, "That's Ok... I'll just go to another tailor." He had no idea how far I traveled to give them my "return" business." I wish the other guy still owned the store. He was a very nice man. I dropped the suit off at another tailor in MoVal. Either way, Z&M won't be getting my business again. It's the end of an era, I guess. read more

LOCATION Z & M Tailoring is located on Sunnymead Blvd between Heacock and Graham, just south of the 60 freeway in Moreno Valley. EXPERIENCE When my niece needed alterations on her prom dress, I suggested that she visit Z & M Tailoring for the work they did for me in the past. I had been working in the area several years ago when the inner thigh of my business slacks ripped about an inch. Z & M was the closest to where this incident happened and I stumbled in frantic hoping they can make immediate repairs. Shortly within 5 minutes, the elderly seamstress accommodated my request and made the quick repair. I was so pleased with their service. The length of my niece's dress was long at the time of purchase. She was looking to make a few adjustments in a short amount of time. I'm so glad my niece was helped out by a gentleman who assessed her needs: hem the front of the dress, add a slit, and trim the train. The final results were stunning and the dress fit like a glove. PRICE The price was decent for the time we needed the dress and for the specific requests we needed. Expectations were met and the quality of the work can't be beat. We were pleased to pay for high quality service and timely results. Overall, we were very happy with the whole process to ensure the dress looked tailor-made for her. I don't normally do reviews but this time I need it to be known just how great of a job ZM tailoring does alterations; I had them shorten the croutch of a jumpsuit and they did a great job, I had them correct the pockets on a pair of pants that were puckering and they move the pockets, they also shortened the sleeves on my blouse. I could go on and on about the work. You need to try them for yourself, you won't be disappointed. read more

I took my daughters dress in because when I brought it the neck fasteners were broke. I asked when I came in should my daughter try on the dress to make sure the neck is a right fit. He told me know. I pick up the dress and low and behold my daughter tried it on and it did not fit around the neck. When I called back to let him know it didn't fit around the neck and could he fix it he told me he never knew it didn't fit and that he would have to charge me another $26 to fix it. So that would be $52 total to move a button that should have been placed in the correct spot to begin with. This was not the first time doing business there but it is the last time because to leave me stressed and prom is in a few days to me says something about who he is!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! I took in two suits to have altered. One of them came back perfect on the jacket and the pants. I was very happy. The second one I didn't have the opportunity to wear until a month later but I assumed since the first one was good, surely the second would be as well. I was wrong. The pants were still too large in the waist. When I took it back to have it fixed I was told they would "talk to the owner" to waive the $25 fee. When I showed up I was told I was going to have to pay again. I explained I already paid to have the work done, why am I having to pay again for work that wasn't done correctly the first time? I was told too much time had passed and that I may have lost a lot of weight in that time. Now, if that was the case, wouldn't I have brought back both suits????? The worst part though, was when I was told in the most condescending voice possible, that they can see that $20 is a lot of money for me, but there is nothing he can do. In the end, I had to pay...AGAIN... to have the waist brought in. I WILL NEVER RETURN!!!! read more

Charged me almost 60 to tailor one pants, I told him I didn't like the fit still I was told that's not his fault and it would be an additional 30 dollars, Honestly the money wasn't what bothered me it's the in Inconsistency, Been a costumer since 2010 and I'm glad to leave because I got my pants tailored for way less(12$) today, down the street inside the Rio Rancho Mall.
