The quality of their work is exceptional and I bring all of my clothes to them for everything - hemming, taking clothes in, rebuilding an article of clothing, dresses, suits, pants, blazers, etc. I also know they do wedding dresses. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because it can get pricey and they are cash or check only and you have to pay half up front. So, if you don't have payment at the time you are placing your order/leaving your clothes, you have to run out to an ATM. 10/10 would recommend and I will continue to bring my clothing there. read more

I was really happy with the help Lori had provided. Tailor Studio is now my go-to tailor. I worked with her in 2022 for my cousins wedding. He had picked a suit from LA that was very large. Lori was able to make it go from a suit I hated to one I felt so comfortable wearing. I have attached a photo of that Silver suit. Thats why I went for the alteration for our wedding suits in November 2023. My husband and I bought our suits through Studio Suits where we plugged in our measurements and got the suit back accordingly. We could tell we needed some adjustments so I went back to Tailor Studio without hesitation. The suits were about a 7 out of 10 when I received them from Studio Suits but Tailor Studio took them all the way up to a perfect 10. This was my husband's first time working with Tailor Studio and he was very pleased. They are very communicative and really know what they are doing. They are really knowledgable and will make recommendations if needed. They are trustworthy and wont recommend something you do not need. Even if they feel you do need a certain alteration, they will leave it open to your decision. No pressure. They gave an accurate estimation of time and will let you know how much time they will need. I recommend calling them if you want to ask about how far in advance you should go in for your alteration to make sure that you have your garment in time. What sets Tailor Studio apart is their communication and knowledge in their craft. They are not only skilled but also proactive in providing recommendations when needed. Importantly, they are trustworthy and transparent, never suggesting alterations that are unnecessary. Even when they find a potential improvement, they leave the decision entirely in your hands, making it a pressure-free experience. Also, their estimation of time that their work would take was great. They keep you informed, allowing you to plan accordingly. I highly recommend reaching out to them for advice on when to schedule your alteration to make sure that you have everything done in the right amount of time. I had a pretty difficult wedding dress to take in and when I bought it, it was way too big. As you can see it had a pearl corset all around with draped fabric over that. They did amazing at taking it in and hand stitching back all the pearls. I was worried it would stay up because it was heavy and they made sure it fit just right to not be too tight or too loose! I flew in LA from Las Vegas just to get my dress alteration from Lori. She ws the sweetest person I've ever met during the wedding planning process. I had to do 3 trips but each time she was very accommodating and willing to take me 30-40 mins earlier than appointment time because I landed early. My dress was heavy and had a long train. I opted out of bustled my train because I do have other dresses to changed into. I got a hem, take in breast/waist/shoulder. Lori was very knowledgeable and patient with the dress. She made a bubble inside the dress to make it easier for me to walk in and not step on the insider layer. The dress has almost 10 layers and a lot of bead. However, Lori was manage to kept all of the beads in place while doing all those alterations. The shape of the dress stayed the same before and after alterations. Nick also very clear, communicative and responsive. I cant say if her price is higher or average for bridal dress alterations because I did not go anywhere for quote. I looked and looked all over Google and Yelp and read so many reviews before I made the decision to go to Lori. After hearing the price for the alteration I was quite shocked but still decided to trust my dress with Lori based on all the great reviews she had.
