Very sweet ladies and quick turn around with great pricing. Great job on my bridesmaids dress and jacket. But I would NOT recommend to bring your jeans. I brought a pair of vintage Levi's and another extreme rare jean and was very disappointed with the result somehow short and left with a diaper of extra material around the front area even though I'm very thin. Also brought a pair of mens Carhartt jeans that were also finished very cleanly but awkward fitting. The seams and everything is clean but the tailoring is not flattering nor what I wanted and obviously the material has been cut so there's no way to fix it, just have 3 pairs of jeans I wish I would've left alone. read more

NEGATIVE ZERO STARS I seen 4.6 star rating and expected a good experience. I brought my daughter in to alter the top of her dress a simple bring it in and she quoted 70.00. I don't know how much that usually cost so I said OK, but as I was observing, it still had a loose look and asked her if she can just bring it in a little more she was bothered and said it will look ugly if I did that I showed her a picture of the same dress on my daughter's friend who also got hers fixed elsewhere and she told me that it looks ugly and loose is better. Then I said well OK can you just bring it up a little more like my friend daughters fit and she said that place is better go there walked away and left me standing there. I was so confused because I was very polite and respectful. Mind I add she put a bunch of safety pins in a lace area and when she removed them, she was snagging the material. One safety pin was really stuck. We both couldn't get it out. I just told her to leave it alone cause she was yanking on it the snags aren't very noticeable, but it's a brand new dress. I almost went off, but held myself back, cause that's not the example I want to set for my child. Thank you Jesus for being with me and saving me from catching a case. read more

I have a corset dress so not much was needed other than a slight hem on the length. I'm giving one star for the sole purpose of them at least returning the dress back to me. Super disappointing. Not only was my dress NOT ready at 10 am Pick up time. It ruined my whole day with appointments I had scheduled. The hemming was terrible for the price, $200. My grandma had to help me hem the dress all over again! This should have been the least of her worries. This place had no sense of direction for the stitch. They sewed over my zipper so I could not even put the dress on. I would not say this is a professional place. On the contrary. DO NOT take your dress here. Not worth it! Save your money. read more

I dropped off my wedding dress in May for alterations, fittings, adding a hem, cups, boning, tape, back tie, bustle, and hook. I paid a $200 deposit. The seamstress initially said it would be ready by 7/23. When I tried on the dress, I mentioned it wasn't tight enough, but she insisted it was fine. When I'm getting ready to pay for whatever she did, she insisted that I pay an extra $120 for the slit that she already mentioned when I took it in. Mind you, she was running back and forth rushing to press my dress. It was wrinkled and wasn't the experience I would have pictured. She did not press the dress as requested. The final cost came to $720, which was more than expected. I was not satisfied with the lack of professionalism and attention to my concerns. So for the lack of concern and attention, I'd think twice before going here because when you're planning an expensive wedding and need a dress to be done right, get someone that is as concerned about it as you are. Now I'm running around looking for a last-minute dress because this dress doesn't fit as expected when I took it in. read more

Came in to this alteration place since it had 4.6 stars thinking that it was going to be so good. I gave her my Dress four weeks in advance and she told me that it would be ready in three weeks after that I call the Day of my appointment for pick up time and she seemed to be frantic, which gave me a feeling that it wasn't ready. I go in there and she's already frantic and tells me to go to the back with her to look for my dress. It was nowhere to be found and then all of a sudden she found it on the floor in a box stuffed under a pile of dresses and it wasn't ready and it still had the pins on it from when I originally came in four weeks ago. she said oh my gosh so sorry and told me it would be done by tomorrow morning. I didn't want to risk the fact that my dress wasn't going to be ready or done properly so I took it somewhere else. when I came back to pick up my dress to take it somewhere else, someone else came in and asked if their stuff was ready and she said oh no so sorry she forgot.How is that even professional? She worked with me to make alterations to my wedding dress (a complicated two piece sequined number), making a far-too-large top fit to perfection, complete with adjusting the neckline to showcase more of my back, hemming my skirt/train, and building a slip from scratch that was subtle and flexible under my very see-through skirt so that I could feel comfortable and confident dancing the night away.
