I brought a Essential Pants that I just bought and were a little too big, then I took the pants to Kona Cleaner's to be cut, I was very surprised and amazed that they did the job very quickly, only about 15 minutes and were finished with very good results. They are far too busy of a dry cleaners from my liking. It seems as though they try to cater to too many customers. I simply want it a brand new out of the package dress shirt pressed. They want it one day to press it. And when I picked it up the next day, it was just as wrinkled as the day I brought it in. I had to remove hangers myself, the price he quoted didn't match the sheet, and he couldn't clarify delivery. I had to push for a complete receipt, as the first one didn't include my tuxedo. I've been going here for a couple of years now, and the quality of my dry cleaning has gone really bad. This is the third time, for me, that they've messed up on my order. Two of my shirts have scuff marks, one of them has stains, and the other one was never pressed just cleaned. Last time they forgot to do an alteration, and the time before that I had a couple of scuff marks that weren't there to begin with. Some of the best service I've ever received at a dry cleaners. I needed a pair of pants hemmed ASAP, and Ezdihar did an amazing job. I called ahead to ask how quickly they could do it, and they told me to come in right away. As soon as I arrived, they helped me find the perfect length after I tried them on. Once I handed over the jeans, they told me to come back in just 30 minutes--only 30! When I returned, the jeans were perfect. No extra fabric, clean stitching, and exactly the fit I was hoping for. A shame. The store manager who claims her name is Rosa was aggressive and condescending upon arrival. The issue is I was charged for a service I didn't request. Then when I called to let them know, a man rudely responded and tried to argue me down about a service I know I asked for. His anger was unnecessary given that he didn't spend his own money on the wrong service. He then abruptly says "you know what, come in" as if I wasn't going to do that anyway. So I come to the store the next day to drop off the pants again. Immediately met with the abrasive manager. She was short and combative about the matter. I then told her to calm down and she kept saying "it's ok" over and over, but her demeanor showed otherwise. The issue was I went in for a button to be added to my pants, but it was missing. They tried to say I wanted the hem fixed, but that's incorrect. Then she tried to condescend me by explaining what a hem was. She thought she had a gotcha moment, but she was unaware..I told her that proves I didn't ask for the hem to be fixed; if I don't know what it is as she claimed then I wouldn't ask for it to begin with. At that point, my tolerance for her ran out. Let's be serious....who sees a missing button on pants and thinks "oh i KnOw, i'M gOnNa FIx the HEm" Where's the competence? It became clear to me she was trying to avenge the one from the phone call. So everyone lacks emotional intelligence and accountability. That's not shocking. But the audacity to boast about the camera being there as if that proves them right and shows them in a good light. Yes, show upper management how unprofessional and brash you were as soon as I entered Kona. Please prove my point. Anyway, she also went on about trying to force me to watch footage as if it mattered or changed anything. I paid (too much) for a button to be sewn, you supposedly did the hem...I did not ask or pay for that. Especially since "I don't know what a hem is." Then these other people come in just clueless about how she really is. The act she put on when people came in was atrocious. But it was comical to see her pretend. She put on that same performance for me too until I held her to a standard and service I paid for. Anyway. A shame for a manager to act like that while being wrong lol. Be accountable, professional, and stop fighting other people's battles. Especially when that person is wrong. Like I said, have the day you deserve. read more
