I went to another furniture store but didn't have a good experience. I needed a couch and mattress . I prayed I felt led to go to Macys furniture looking for a couch last year I found a beautiful couch .which sales man Josh helped me he was very energetic kind helpful professional knowledgeable eager but not pushy.i never met anyone who geniunely cared that I was happy and wanted to to help me get a couch . He went the extra mile. Then this year 3/12/2026 Josh helped me with my mattress purchase . I'm so happy my prayers were answered I'm very satisfied to gotten qaulity furniture and great prices.Josh C.is a Godsend he's patient very nice caring empathetic the best sales associate I ever had he wanted me to make sure I was pleased with my purchases. Mens cologne department are a bunch of sales sharks! And, RACIST TOWARDS PEOPLE OF COLOR. My cologne top stopped spraying one day after I purchased dolce cologne that cost $150 and when I went to return it one morning the lady didnt say hello how ya doing good morning or nothing just asked dp I have my receipt? I said well yes amd gave it to her she went to the computer to punch it in to look as if it was stolen or wasn't the correct receipt and I go why are you looking at my receipt? She goes because you already returned it! I go do damn what! The top doesnt work? So with attitude the Hispanic lady continued to ring up a refund but I didn't even want a refund! I said I wanted to exchange it for something else but since you have attitude just refund the money and I left. I was judged by my cover the moment she seen me. She didnt even look to see if the top worked. She didnt care. All she saw was a black man in regular street clothes mind you everything I had on that day was new and cost more than everything she had on at work yet she judged me. I was in the furniture department excited to furnish my new home. A sales associate came by and asked if I needed anything. I said I was looking for a cloud couch dupe. He looked at me weird and searched it up on google and the first link was from wayfair and told me that it's cheap stuff. I don't think he knows about Restoration hardware at all and just started looking at other links provided from google. He let me know that the couch looks cheap and basically made me feel little. My taste is appalling I guess to his eyes. Then proceeded that this place is Macy's and we're higher end than the other companies. Well in my head I don't think this place exudes opulence or class in any form and I wasn't basing the couch I wanted in my head from those companies he listed. I was very much turned off and walked away. I didn't feel seen as a customer and on top of that lowered my self esteem. LARGE & RELIABLE! I grew up with this Macy's! It's always come in handy, especially when I need nice sweaters or men's clothes. I've bought shoes at this location which were of great quality. Take Macy's with a grain of salt as it can be pricey and some items are overpriced. This isn't to say the store doesn't have good deals, just be cautious. Service is pretty good every time my family and I walk-in. We came in during Black Friday and it was packed, however I never felt cramped as the store is big and includes a second story. The main event of the store is hands down the perfume/cologne & make-up kiosks. The salespeople are true experts and have a way with captivating people. All our questions were answered and everyone was professional. Macy's has neat little gift sets no matter the time of year so it's easy to go crazy in here! read more

They had sent the items back to be restocked recently so they knew where to retrieve them from and proactively got them for me. I returned my mom's shoes at this Macys that I purchased online. When I gave the young lady my shoes she scanned the box and says the numbers are not matching the order then I showed her my online purchase and says oh. Scans and says how would you like your return Venmo or PayPal. I said can I please get it as a gift card and says ok. Then goes to say I will only return you 25 dollars with 25 cents. I said ok why is that if my online return says I would get back 35.35??? She then goes to say since you used 10 macys rewards we only will give you back 25. I knew for sure I didn't used them when I purchase my item she said it shows on our end you did. Ok please make that make sense so I went back show them my purchase stated I purchased it with my card and no rewards were used. I still not get all my refund back. Honestly if that was the case should had been told that ahead of time in my email instead of making me look stupid! I was upset so I called customer service and actually took care of it. She was more helpful than these other young ladies there and she was able to solve my issue. I like shopping at Macys... it's just the fragrances department you need to watch out for because I honestly can't smell perfume without a salesperson walking up to me bugging me to try and buy it. I only buy perfume or cologne in December for Christmas presents and I try to get the ones that aren't pushy or aggressive for the commission. Elizabeth is one of them she isn't pushy and I don't think she cares too much to compete with her coworkers she's got her regulars. By the way to the guy named James your review made it sound like you have a huge crush on Elizabeth and I'm sure she's already taken she wears a wedding ring. Other than that, watch out for the sharks in the Frangrance and cologne department. read more

So really the only reason I'm in Macys is because I had to return tennis shoes that my Mr. bought me that were to small. Back in the day Macy's was the store, now it's somewhere my husband likes to shop for anniversary gifts. Had to return tennis shoes just a size to small.. Service was friendly and helpful. She let me know to check back daily to see if they got my size in.... It's still pretty cool and the makeup perfume area is still great. read more

On Tuesday we went to Macy's in Moreno valley, men's department to buy some clothing for my grandson who is now clothes have to be bought in the men's department and for myself. While I was there we were helped by a wonderful young lady named Shadae. She was kind, considerate, knowledgeable and did it all with a sincere smile. She was very impressive in how she deals with people. One can tell that Shadae is the same wonderful person out of work as she is at Macy's. Thank you Shadae and we will be back. Love this place they have sales even without the holidays. We came here because of the shoe sale, found boots for $26 can't believe it. Get ready to spend ladies and gentlemen. Macy's always have this scent when you walk in, I just can't get enough of it. Of course their clothing was on sale, all you see is 50% off 40% off it's a special day when I see those red sign. I did not even touch the makeup area that would be just too much for me. Love the place will always love this place period. About four months ago, I planned a trip overseas and decided I needed a few things for my trip. I decided Macy's would fill the need. I first looked at some men's clothing and then went to men's fragrances. I was helped by a sales associate by the name of Elizabeth H. who greeted me with a very genuine smile. She was friendly, energetic, knowledgeable and efficient. I have worked in sales for many years and understand that building relationships with customers is very important. That's the first impression I got from Liz, and the fragrance department as a whole. Not only did Liz help me with choosing a fragrance, she also took an interactive role in helping me navigate the ways I could save and accrue points for future purchases. I have been back several times since then and each time I seek out Elizabeth's professional service, while cringing at the balance I have accrued over time. With the type of in house service I have received, it's been worth every penny. Yesterday I was notified by Elizabeth of a VIP presale on men's fragrances. It's not very often that you get discounts on fragrances, so I decided stop by. Like always, with a friendly and professional approach, Liz helped me explore a few options and I was able to make a decision. I then left the store to stop by a retailer in the area who had a cordless handheld vacuum cleaner for $24, but of course they had run out. Thinking of the great service I received at Macy's, I went online and noticed they had one for $39. Without hesitation I got in my car and went back to Macy's to see Liz. Sure I was going to pay $15 more, but the quality was better. However, the most important reason I came back was the associate/customer relationship that Elizabeth H. manifested during my visit four months ago. Love macys . They have great brands and can't beat their clearance items. Some big stores like this are hard to find employees and my experience here has been just like that up stairs . When I'm ready to check out 5/10 times I have to wait around for someone to check me out. I love the mac makeup in this macys. They on the other had always have alot of ppl working. For some reason they have only one employee for department. The current employee including the manager are very lazy and DO NOT PROVIDE a very good customer service, actually the service they provide is awful. Yesterday12/17/21 at about 9pm. The store was giving the impression of being with no control at all. - they had no one to help with any question. I asked one of the cashiers and she said she said the manager had only one employee for dpt. In this case the cashier was the only one in charge of asking questions and help people around the store dpt. And being cashier at the same time, without saying that the store was totally packed and it was in a complete mess. I think this gives a very bad impression to a Macy's store, no matter the location. This whole situation didn't seem to bother the manager at all, since he didn't care listening or responding questions about the quality service the entire store is providing. read more

This review is based off of my experience with Finish Line inside of Macy's. I went there with the intention of purchasing a pair of Addidas. I have a small foot and fit in kids sizes, so of course I would purchase from the kids' section. Why not? As soon as I asked the guy for my size, in kids, he stated that I would still have to pay the price of an adult shoe. Low and behold I need a size smaller. Dude started telling me that I would need a woman's shoe, not a child's. I can't even begin to understand the reasoning with this guy. ‍ He then proceeded to tell me that the child's Addidas shoe is made with a lesser quality material than the women's shoe is. So essentially he wanted me to pay for the woman's shoe for a child's 'lesser quality' shoe. This made no sense. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere. Champs. Yup. Walked in asked for the shoe I wanted in a child's size and left as a happy customer. I, as a customer, should not have to haggle with the sales team! I have been a long time Macy's shopper for many years, reaching platinum status. I recently ordered a bracelet for Mother's Day, and waited for it to be delivered to the store to pick it up. I waited so long that I finally went to the store to see if it was there, they told me it was not ready yet. A couple of days after Mother's Day I received an email saying that my bracelet had been returned because I didn't pick it up, I did NOT receive an email to come and pick it up. Then I received another email telling me that the bracelet was lost in transit. This is very frustrating I was then sent a coupon for 25% off as compensation to use in the store or online, the code did not work. It came up as invalid. I tried using it on several different items, and none of them worked, I'm seriously considering closing my Macys account. read more

I ordered men's cologne online only to review a woman's fragrance worth half my purchase. I called customer service and was TOLD I could exchange at the nearest store so I headed over to do so. I was told NO and referred back to customer service and told the store level could not help me. I'm beyond upset that a "high end" retailer would sweat me over a $125 order THAT they messed up. I'm shocked that I went out of my way to drive to the store during a pandemic to walk away with the issue unresolved. Macy's had a great sale in headboards with frames. Paid cash March 7 and was told that it I would have it within the last two weeks of May. May arrives and no communication received from Macy's so I call. They tell me I would have it by June 12, 2021. The date passed and I call again. "It's in the warehouse but it take up to 9 days to process. ...After having lunch and calming down I decided to go into the store to cancel the cash paid order; they tell me that I have to call Customer Service for the refund and calling - - "it takes 2 weeks to a month for a Refund. ". WTH. - 3 1/2 months for a headboard and frame. - half to a full month for a refund on cash. ...Go figure. NEVER AGAIN, Macy's! Never ordering anything from you again. read more
