Macy's had a great sale in headboards with frames. Paid cash March 7 and was told that it I would have it within the last two weeks of May. May arrives and no communication received from Macy's so I call. They tell me I would have it by June 12, 2021. The date passed and I call again. "It's in the warehouse but it take up to 9 days to process. ...After having lunch and calming down I decided to go into the store to cancel the cash paid order; they tell me that I have to call Customer Service for the refund and calling - - "it takes 2 weeks to a month for a Refund. ". WTH. - 3 1/2 months for a headboard and frame. - half to a full month for a refund on cash. ...Go figure. NEVER AGAIN, Macy's! Never ordering anything from you again. read more

I'm completely disappointed to see Macy's Departure Store has lowered its appeal and is equally dirty to Ross Store. It literally looks likes a MOB had hit the store. WARNING! DO NOT BUY JEWELRY FROM MACYS! I purchased what I was told to be a rose gold necklace for my wife at Christmas time. Took it home and put it under the tree. My wife's opens it Christmas morning, and the clasp was already broken. Never worn or taken out of the box. So I take it back, they ship me a replacement. Ok good. Well, were 6 months later and my wife has worn the necklace maybe 5 times only on special occasions. Never worn to bed, always hung up when not worn. So I go back again this past Saturday, talked to the lady at the jewelry counter. First thing she ask was, "do you have a warranty"? I explained to her it was only 6 months since I purchased. She said sorry, there's nothing we can do for you without the paid warranty.... said ok thanks, now I know to never buy from this Macy's again. Ive spent thousands just in the jewelry department over the past few years. So I decided to take it to a jewelr I have done business with before. He asked me if I got the necklace from Macy's or JC Penny. I told him Macy's. He then told me that it was silver plated and dipped in rose gold. He laughed and said "well, you learned the hard way about buying from department stores" ... he replaced the clasp with a quality replacement and charged me 40 bucks. I'm writing this to let you know this entire corporation is a fraud. They mark up jewelry 70%, then put it on "sale" for 50% off and you still end up overpaying for sub par products. read more

Watch for the prices at this store very closely. That have identical items on the racks with items that have a much lower price. It is impossible to see the difference between the two unless you read the UPC. The items are the same but have different UPC's. One scans about twice as much as the other. One is on sale and the other is not. Clearly a mistake in the system by forgetting to enter both codes. The sad part is that the person in charge wouldn't admit to the error or promise to correct it in the system. They did, however, give us the lowest price. I am a perfume connoisseurs and my brother has always purchased my perfumes from Lisa who is the manager of the woman's fragrances. Anything having to do with fragrances Lisa is your girl! Not one of the best Macy's I've gone to...even the one in the Tyler mall in Riverside is horrible when it comes to selection and choices! I basically only come here in the hopes of finding something very general..or maybe just for the fragrances. One of the positives of this Macy's is that it has a MAC cosmetics counter, which means I don't have to travel to Riverside to stock up on that if need be. STAFF: Sometimes it is hard to find a staff member to assist you, which sucks...I often find myself crossing onto other departments to actually talk to someone. The shoe department is horrid. This review is for the Mac Cosmetics booth in Macy's. To say that their customer service is the worst would be implying that they had customer service to begin with. Awful! Terrible! God forbid you get in line and try to buy something - it is a total LIFE SUCK. You do NOT get acknowledged and it takes FOR-EV-ERRRRR (sandlot style) to even get a sideways glance your way. I went STRAIGHT to the counter knowing EXACTLY what I wanted while customers who were helped by a sales associate got to cut right in front of my face. What killed me was the sales associate asked me "Have you been helped?", To which I replied, "No." Then the lady said: "Okay, I'm going to help you" (Points to a customer waaaaay in the back of the line). I consider myself a very patient person. I shopped around and found what I needed. I timed myself in order to be able to get to my car at a certain time. (Nap time for 11 month baby) I was in the second floor, and looked for a person ro ring me up. I looked through the whole floor and couldnt find 1 single Macy's employee. I then walked downstairs and another employee told me she couldnt ring it up because it wasnt her department. I then went back upstairs and waited in from of the customer service in line until someone appeared. 30 minutes later. I see someone. She is walking around the store with some ladies. I try not to get upset because it seemed like she was helping but I was very upset at having to wait so long. 45 minutes later from when i orginally got in line, I am finally getting ringed up. I almost cried at frustration. I was not rude and didnt mentioned this to the women. I stayed because I really needed the pan, only macys had this particular pan in stock ... I will most definitely not be going back. Customer service : NO STARS Only redeemable aspect of my experience which is why I am okay with it being 1 star is the reason that this Macys is pretty big. read more

Selection is better than the Inland Center store but the staffing is so much worse. Never enough staff and they are always split between sorting the continuously disheveled racks and trying to serve. Situation isn't helped by the fact that so much is crammed into the store so it feels cramped and overstocked. I'd love to love this store as they treat me really well when it's empty but they just can't deliver when there's a sale on or large numbers of customers like at the holidays. Merchandise is very focused on the local demographics so if you're not in this segment you can be easily disappointed. read more

Purchased an item and the cashier failed to remove the security tag, ugh! called in, was told to simply bring in the item with the card I used to purchase it. Easy enough, I thought. Came in with both, didn't keep the receipt, I don't usually on low ticket items. Well what should have been a quick in and out didn't quite work out that way. I was told they couldn't remove it because I couldn't prove I had purchased it, they later ran my credit card, and after proving I was not a thief, removed the tag. I resent that I was inconvenienced, having to return and wait for them to "prove" my purchase, for something they failed to do. I don't think they ever got that part. read more

Two stars because at least the public restroom was unlocked and fairly clean. Beyond that, might as well go and spend less money at (ugh) Penney's. The past three times I was there, I went to the register expecting to spend less than what they tried to charge me. When I questioned this, I got all these explanations about how this coupon doesn't work with this item, or the percentage off is different because it's a certain kind of item. Fine. make that CLEAR in the first place, and maybe I'll give you a chance. But Macy's hides it and then hopes you'll be too invested by the time you're at the register, and just buy the item. All three times, I told them thanks (no one deserved it) and walked away. Another time, I went to return some shoes that had been worn once, when tried on in the house, on on a carpet. They gave me a hard time and attitude saying I must have worn these outside, but they would take them back "just this once". Luckily, once was all I needed, because they've made it clear at Macy's that they DON'T want me to shop there. And I won't again. read more

Where do I even start I ordered Christmas presents online a week and a half before Christmas and shipping said 3-5 business days. Only one of the three items and in time. The other two where a whole week late! And when I received the last item arrived it went to another address I had on my account. Not the one everything else was sent to! And that's just the beginning when I opened the bag I come to find the box is all messed up and ripped and then I open it and the ear rings are missing. Now I'm pissed!! 5 stars for Beatrice in the furniture department! She was so helpful in getting my large order put together and sorted out, as I originally ordered items from a different Macy's location, and then came to this one to add on to it. She solved all my issues, was not pushy whatsoever, and checked up on me throughout the process of delivery. The pieces look great in my new apartment and everything went smoothly. Only slight downside is their furniture runs on the pricey side, but if you can find a good deal, it's definitely worth the extra money! read more

I purchased a Michael Kors purse from this store in February. The calf has become blotchy and faded within a few months. on or about 6/6/2020, once the stores opened, I attempted to get a store credit, which was refused because I didnt have the original receipt. I provided the tags. Not good enough. I was told that losing the calf hair on this costly Michael Kors handbag was "normal wear and tear". After a few months? How much wear could it have been? We have been on lockdown since March! I called and left messages with Corporate on five occasions. No return call to date! No response from Michael Kors regarding their faulty handbag! read more

The ladies at the MAC counter are not as helpful as they used to be. Their used to be a young last who worked here named Jamie who was phenomenal but I think she had a baby and quit. Now the newer reps are HORRIBLE! They try to avoid eye contact to avoid assisting customers, I went there recently to purchase a lipstick and the girl rushed me through the whole transaction. I ended up not liking the color and went back a week later to return it. I told the young lady at the counter I wasn't happy with the color and she didn't offer to try on different colors, she just proceeded with my refund without giving me eye contact.
