    Old boots made new again
    Lori R.

I wish I had the before pictures to show how faded and scuffed up these boots were. The soles had holes worn through, They were a gift from my son's grandma who had passed and he just could not let them go. I brought them to CC Shoe repairs and requested the soles be replaced and honestly didn't even realize the boots themselves could be restored. The results were a brand new pair of boots. The value of repairing them verses buying a new pair was about 1/3 the price. The value of restoring grandma's gift, priceless.

TABIS OWNER LISTEN UP, pls get the vibram soles on your tabis here, the owner did a very good job and I was impressed the total was $120 which is lowkey expensive but its worth it imo

The shoe repair shop is located closest to the Chevron gas station. The Yelp directions are not accurate

If it's an emergency last minute request expect a "no" and if it's something other than that I can't give feedback. Response came off as rude and seemed that he didn't want to be bothered. He said he had an appointment to get to and wish they'd update yelp or online "no walk-ins" as their status.

look for the Chevron Gas Staton cause the shoe repair dude is right across - in between the Tailor and the CC Animal Hospital

I could kick myself for coming here for having the heel taps replaced on my oldest daughter's shoes. I did my homework-I read at least 6 positive, 5-star reviews and was convinced that I would be making the trip out to Canyon Crest today. I wish that I would have read EVERY SINGLE REVIEW though! Ugh! I walk in to the shop -my elderly mom tagged along. The owner (I am assuming) doesn't look up, doesn't greet us. He is speaking with a customer who had some brown cowboy boots on the counter. Mind you, I understand a mom-and-pop establishment can run their business however they want. It's their business, right? So my mom, being the most friendliest, chipper, 76 year old grandma that she is calls out "Good Morning!" Still no eye contact, no acknowledgment, no "hey I'll be right with you." The owner and the customer continue their conversation like we were two invisible little Asians. Ok cool, whatever bro, it's YOUR business, I totally get it. Said customer leaves. Owner's facial expressions were "ugh, what do you want?!" yet out of his mouth was "what can I help you with?" Ok fine, you're the man. Act however you want as we did interrupt your pretty freaking amazing convo with your customer. He doesn't look at us by the way-still no eye contact. I pull out my daughter's heels. He takes a look, puts them down so he can write out his service ticket. He asks "When do you need them by?" Still doesn't look up, still no eye contact. I reply, "Tuesday or Wednesday." He pauses for a moment (still doesn't look up, mind you) and with a sigh he says "Monday afternoon. After 4. Twelve dollars." Still no eye contact. I'm big on eye contact, can you tell? I ask, "Do I pay you now?" and he says "Yes, pay now." Doesn't count back my change. (It's ok, I might suck at maths but I figured out my change lol) He then turns away. Don't forget about super chipper 76 year old Mom that accompanied me! She whips out a ring of keys as we have both noticed the left corner of his shop has the look of a key maker. She tells Mister Owner, "We drove out from blah blah blah and I was told that this key needed to be made by a locksmith..." he holds out his hands as if to say, "well, ok hurry, give them to me!" Chipper Gma/Mom hands him the keys and starts telling him it was a key to my recently dearly departed Dad's trailer. By this time, I am in my own zone. I'm looking at the negative reviews on CC Shoe Repair and I'm calling myself names for not reading every review last night. Mister Owner looks over his shoulder and tells my mother "You say it's a trailer key but it's a gas cap key." My mom starts to tell him something but since my Bionic Hearing caught Mister Owner telling Chipper Gma/Mom this - I asked "Oh, it's a gas cap key?" I asked this because I didn't know. It's not my trailer, we are trying to figure out all the keys my Dear Departed Dad left behind. My mom approached him as his back was turned and he chided her by saying "I'm going to look. Let me do my job." Maybe my mom invaded his personal space? (Must remember to coach my little, elderly, Asian mom not to invade strangers' "personal space") Here's where it gets REALLY Really good. Still with me, dear Yelp Reader? Good! Keep reading. Mister Owner turns around sharply and tells me in a seething voice "I have made keys for (insert whatever year he said) years! I know what I'm doing!" Tell me that his little bitchy outburst didn't confound me! My mom got quiet and honestly I was at a loss for words for about 3.2 seconds. I have had enough. I tell him "I was just asking. I'm not questioning your expertise..." Mister Owner was probably having a crappy Friday folks cause it is the Mercury Retrograde. He immediately drops keys, gets flustered, and says out loud to me and not so Chipper Grandma/Mom "I'm not gonna look anymore!" Again, dude it's YOUR business. You do you, homie. He turns around, hands my mom the key ring back and tells her "I'm not going to do it!" Ohhhhh-kaaaayyyy, then!! Read you loud and clear! Copy! 10-4! Did we get shitty service cause: 1. We aren't your typical Canyon Crest, Orangecrest, whoever's Crest customer? 2. Did we get shitty service because it's Mercury Retrograde? Relax, it'll be over in a couple weeks. Trust me, I ain't thrilled either! 3. Were you super busy and will be super busy? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. We were the only two people in there, but then again I don't know if you have 2,000 pairs of shoes to repair behind the counter. So, there's that.... 4. Is it cause my daughter's simple pumps weren't "designer"? Cause trust, I noticed all the rave reviews from the Christian Louboutin, Valentino Garavani, Tory Burch customers.... I am not hating-I love designer labels too. But I'm with the other customers on here-you have a fave pair of shoes that you can't bear to part with so you will do everything legal to make it right! So yeah, that's my review and I am sticking by it! Stay tuned.....

My local shoe repair guy in Moreno Valley finally closed his doors, which meant it was time to find another shoe repair shop. First place I look is yelp. I find CC shoe repair. Its located in Canyon Crest which is not to bad of a drive from Moreno Valley. At my old shop it was always drop off your shoes and come back in a few hours and they would be ready. What a great surprise, when my dad and I get there he takes my shoe and fixes the heel in less than 5 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. The price was reasonable the shop clean and neat and the service friendly. Side note he also makes keys. I will definitely be using CC shoe repair from now on..

This is the first time I've ever had my platform shoes worked on or any for that matter. BUT my beloved TUK Platforms that are my all time favorite starting falling apart!!! The whole dang platform started peeling off the bottom of the heel! I brought them in hoping he could save them and OMG i could cry tears of joy! The older versions would crumble apart once they start lifting so i wasn't taking a chance on these bad boys. I couldn't trust myself do anything other than seek professional help and I'm glad i did! They even looked cleaned up! Im in love again and forever grateful!

After searching for a local cobbler, I found this one. The gentleman that helped me was a pleasure to do business with. I asked if he could rush one pair and he was happy to do so. I am very happy with the results.

After finally buying a pair of Louboutin I realized they were too high and slippery, I know how to walk in heels but this pair was just so painful. I saw some videos on YouTube and a few girls would take their red bottoms to a shoe repair to down size and get the slip resistant on the bottom. I went to CC Shoe repair and he was straight forward, no filter which was awesome because I do not like FAKE, left them for a week and once I got them back the difference was huge!!! Although you can't tell they were customized it made a great difference. It was affordable and I would take my shoes to him from now on, Highly recommended! A+

Like new! He even threw in new laces! Can't beat that!

I was so happy. My boots looked great. He cleaned them up nicely. The heels looked great too. These are my absolute favorite shoes, Lord & Taylor. On to Saturday. I was in my shoes for a total of 3 hours. About 2 hous in is when I noticed they were peeling. I was getting so many compliments on my shoes and I looked down and I can see the peeling pieces poking out the side from under the ball of my foot. I contacted Rafi first thing Monday and sent him a text with video. He is taking no responsibility. I feel like he was trying to do a good job. He replaced the heel tips and I believe he used some kind of cleaner on the shoes which caused them to peel . I definitely would not trust this business with expensive shoes! I went here because of the high revenues but I neglected to read the bad ones that include pictures of the workmanship or lack of. Big mistake! I feel bad about editing this review because so many people had bad experiences with him initially and initially my experience was great until I had a problem. Then he got defensive and deflected any and all responsibility. He has offered to try to fix them, at my expense, but I would no longer trust him after this experience and after reading and seeing negative reviews and pictures. ***** Initial Review before wearing my beautiful shoes***** Been sitting on 2 pair of boots and 1 pair of heels in need of heel tips for some time now. Special event comes up and I want to wear those heels so badly. So I went in search of a shoe repair / shoe cobbler. Found the most welcoming individual here at the Shoe Cobbler in Norco. He is friendly. He is fast. He is efficient. He went above and beyond, not only to replace my heel tips but to bring my shoes back to their Glory Days. All in all I highly recommend this business. If you are in need of shoe repair you will not be disappointed. Don't throw those shoes away bring them back to their Glory Days! Hahaha. This is not a paid for review. He stands by his word and so do I.
