( He barely knows what Yelp is lol) I read some reviews where he gives the impression of being rude, but he's just very honest & blunt straight to the point on whether or not he can accomplish the task & he explained to me personally how he won't sacrifice quality just to meet a customers last minute expedited request. With that being said the turn around was 3 weeks, which is okay, but he even showed me and explained as to why this process can be time consuming and the bonding of the boot cannot be rushed. I recommend due to quality & I will be bringing my boots here from now on.

When i showed up it looked they had just heard the voice mail So they tried to clean on pair of shoes since they were still wet & they other pair wasn't cleaned at all. Instead of sending to redwing for warranty repair I decided I wanted to have the soles completely changed as I prefer a wedge sole over the old heel type. This shop did an amazing job transforming these boots to a wedge sole. They even cleaned and left them to almost New condition. Super fast turnaround. Was less than a week.

Now that I bring them back because this happened he tells me that I only paid for 1/2 a sole and that he can't do anything. He quickly escalated his attitude and demeanor to be rude and a bit aggressive, I'm not a person to get argumentative so I got my shoes and walked out. As I was walking out and back to my car I could just hear him continuing insulting, cussing and being completely disrespectful, rude and aggressive. He may do some decent work on most shoes but consider that if your shoes have issues after he will not guarantee or even consider redoing any work he did horribly. While I cannot rate the service of repair, I can say I have come in here twice and received…read moreexcellent customer service. The first time I needed a leather rope to cinch a bucket bag closed. The owner told me that my bag wasn't real leather. Which shocked me, but I trust him. And I appreciated the honesty. Still love the bag. But glad to know it's not made of leather. The second time I came in l had shoes that didn't feel like the soft genuine leather they claimed to be. So since l actually had to review these shoes, l knew exactly who would know best! He said they were definitely genuine and that they were pig skin. Hence why they were rougher. I had no idea that was even a thing. I appreciate his honesty and frankness. I will always highly recommend this shop and l know the owner said about a year ago he was looking to retire. I hope (selfishly) that he never does. But if he finds himself a replacement, l truly hope the next cobbler is just as good. I highly recommend this cobbler for honesty and expertise.
