When I picked it up, I discovered five separate snags on the fabric that were not there before. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated, especially considering this was an important dress for a special occasion. I trusted this business to handle my garment with care, and unfortunately, it was returned to me damaged. While steaming itself was only $20, the cost is insignificant compared to the damage done to my dress. I would have appreciated honesty, accountability, or at the very least being informed if something happened while it was in their care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dry cleaner. I hope they take greater care with customers' garments in the future so others don't have a similar experience.

I was waiting for response on if they could do it and to give me quote. Staff called manager, quoted $45 and I said pass, please return slacks. Came back from vacation to pick up pants- they were altered. Elastic was not used and neither was my fabric (which is fine, but they kept it). I was upset with whole ordeal. Staff called manager again. Heard exchange and she asked him to speak to me- he declined. She offered a 20% discount. I said 25% because they kept fabric ( it was pricey fabric). I realized when I got home they didn't even add the elastic. I asked manager to call me back. This is the 3rd week day and nothing. I should have asked to put it in writing. The work was done well ( but missed elastic), the problem was disorganization, miscommunication, and lack of ownership from owner/ manager- he personally has not called to apologize.

He picked it up the day I called him and kept me updated through the whole process of the dress cleaning. He also offers free drop off but I was easily able to stop by and pick it up. When I called here, they told me it starts at $19 but can go up to the $40s. With that info, i brought my dress here since it was the best price - even though this place was a bit far from my house. The customer service was excellent, dress was altered within a week, alteration was perfect. However, when I went to pay, the total was $86. I was a bit taken a back since the price was extremely different from what I was quoted. When I brought that up, the girl working was apologetic and let me know she will pass this info off to the owner. Tony called me back the next day to apologize for the misinformation and made it right by refunding me a portion of the cost. I really appreciated his professionalism, honesty, and understanding.

I now have a connection to history. I have known ancestry. It's odd to say but knowing about them has made such a difference in knowing about me. My father's identity is still a mystery but that's okay at this time. I have a mother who wants a relationship with me and we share so much in common it's like finding a new best friend. We just shared my birthday together 53 years later. I learned that she never got to see me at birth. Such a truly incredible gift! And to think I almost let fear get in the way. If you are on the fence about this, just do it! You've had a lifetime of not knowing, not connecting. Isn't it time to know? Connect yourself to history. I've been a continual costumer for years. I LOVE this cleaners they are family to me. Jerri always shortens my pants for me while I wait (if she's not busy) or within the next two years. Bud always saves my clothes because I am queen of spills! Just have to make sure I always point everyone out. I also like they have had the same prices since I've been coming here as a kid. I recommend to all my friends. We even had our graduation gowns steamed out before the graduation ceremony so we were the best looking grads there!! All the men in my bridal party AND the ladies are getting their suits and dresses altered by Jerri she is amazing. Always does alterations after you agree to her pricing- sometimes she will even press or steam out your clothes! I really miss Betty who retired years back she was always such a great help at letting me know what I need done and she always remembered our names and the names of our friends. The owners are so nice they go above and beyond for their customers all the time! I have to recommend Jones Dry Cleaners. I am a business man by professional specifically in the legal field so I practically live in my business professional clothes including dry clean only suits. As my attire has improved and I am purchasing a higher quality of suits I find that it is more beneficial for me and the life of my suits to utilize a good dry cleaners. I have been to many different cleaners and tailors, however, I have not been impressed. I just recently stumbled across Jones Dry Cleaners and I think I am going to stay with this business. The employees have been nothing but professional and polite. They have a decent turn around time and they have literally rejuvenated my trouser by stitching and removal of stains from ties. Upon pickup of clothing items, the owner of this establishment has gone out of his way to make prejudiced comments about immigrants and trans people. In one instance he made a derogatory comment about a taco stand near by that was run by "illegals". During another visit he mentioned that a trans person roams around the neighborhood who is "weird because he wears dresses" and that "he doesn't like it when I call him 'he'" There was no reason for him to bring any of these topics up. It was as if he was unloading frustration or looking for validation. I encourage everyone to reconsider this establishment for your dry cleaning needs. No room for business owners in our community who have ugly, disrespectful things to say about other humans beings. read more

I normally don't write reviews but I have been going to Jones dry cleans for some time now and feel that the one star rating does not suet the serves I have received there. They are professional and always willing to work with you if something does not turn out to your satisfaction. I also feel I must leave a review because I was there when the said person was complaining about their drapes, I saw them when they came in and don't think it is fair to blame someone for your mistake. I mean when you mess something up don't expect someone to come in and work miracles for you. read more
