In true last minute fashion, I decided to try on my bridesmaids dress three days before the wedding (Wednesday night). Of course I have gained some weight and obviously didn't size myself properly when I ordered online so the dress did not zip up. In a panic, I found Pressing Matters Cleaners on Yelp and called them at 7 am on Thursday. Abundio looked at my dress and told me that there was not enough cloth to work with but he suggested a zig zag tie back would fix the issue. He assured me that he could get it fixed by Saturday. LOVE LOVE LOVED THE SERVICE HERE!!!!! Last month these guys SAVED me.... Changed my mind last minute, ordered the first wedding dress I tried on and ditched the one I had already for months just ONE week before my wedding... And needed several alterations just ONE week before we left for our destination wedding! The owner took me in NO problem at all!!! Had me try it on there, measured, asked questions, fitted it all properly, worked with my crazy work schedule on top of it, while also messaging me through Yelp AND texts... Had me come back a couple days later to do another fitting, and he promised it'd be fixed, ready, AND cleaned by Saturday (we were leaving Monday)... Ok! I trust you! He also had the suit pants and button up that was for my husbands suit cleaned and pressed for me to take the day I had gotten my last fitting done. And even told me not to worry about paying for those yet, that he would just charge me for everything on Saturday when I pick my dress up to make it easier..... WOW!!! That is true customer service in my opinion. Sometimes its small things like TRUST that go SOOOO far!! I couldn't even make it back to the shop that Saturday before the wedding I had some many loose ends I was trying to finish, so I had message the owner letting him know, and that I was sending my husband to pick it up, and to please just keep it in the bag and not let him see it when he came in to get it and pay. No problem!! Ahhhh such a relief!!! I looked at the dress later that day, OMG it looked like a whole new dress it was PERFECT!!!!! I didn't even try it on though, I just trusted them!!! The day of the wedding when I put it on... OMG, PERFECT!!!!!!!!!! Just perfect. I had bought the dress "preowned" because 1. It was a week before the wedding when i changed my mind and 2. That dress was discontinued and no longer in ANY stores... So they did it all, made The straps longer, the extra cups in the top taken out, the waist trim actually sown on, the clip and zipper piece in back fixed and sown on correctly, cleaned so no spot of yellow and pressed perfect. 2 fittings, 1 pair of pants, 1 shirt, alterations, and 3rd trip back to pick it up for $80. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? THAT'S A STEAL!!!! Again, it was just perfect!! We live in Perris, usually takes us about 45-60 minutes to get to this shop one way. And literally, this will forever be my cleaner, alterations shop, dry cleaner, whatever! This place gets 10 stars and does amazing work and I am so lucky to have found this shop and this owner! I had high hopes for this place. They were rated #1 on Yelp with a 4.8 as the best dry cleaners near me. I dropped 10 shirts on Wednesday of last week. I was told and given a receipt that confirm that my items would be ready next Tuesday which is today. When I dropped them off the person providing service to me asked me when I needed them and I said, "Whenever. There's no rush." He said something to the effect, thank goodness, I was worried, most people say they need things by Friday. He said, "How's next Tuesday"? I said, "That works for me." Well here I am and they haven't even got to any of my shirts yet. The excuse was lame. On top of that the customer service is horrible. The 2nd rank dry cleaner on Yelp burnt on of my shirts. I won't go back to them. I beginning to come to the conclusion that Riverside has no good dry cleaning services anymore. Ideal Cleaners is probably the best but their prices compared to others is ridiculously high. read more

Abundio carefully cleaned a designer evening dress with detailed sequin and decorative embroidery perfectly which I now have stored in a preservation gown bag. I entrusted him also with my precious heirlooms from my grandmother as well as an antique Swiss lace blouse given to me by my father. My son's Eagle Scout uniform and Boy Scout uniform were entrusted to Abundio to be placed in a preservation box. The cleaning requires special attention and expertise to determine which cleaning process is best for the individual fabric to be cleaned. The customer will be greeted by Abundio with a friendly greeting, have the garments tagged and numbered, garment inspection, discussion of optimal care and assurances of stain pre-treatment, machine or hand dry cleaning, post spotting and finishing. I ended up here because of the great reviews and was not disappointed! The lady at the place that I would normally go to for pant alterations told me she was not able to alter my dress for whatever reason (I was getting married in a week so imagine the stress) keep in mind this was not a super luxurious gown this was a floor length strapless dress that needed to be taken in on the sides and a couple inches off the bottom. I tried pressing matters before I returned the dress and he said "of course I could do it why wouldn't I?" What a relief!!! He was able to get it done before my wedding and charged a reasonable $80. Two words: Impressed and Relieved. So backstory: I bought and received my bridesmaid dress 4 months before the wedding. And my mistake... I never tried it on... so now it's a week before the wedding and I finally tried it on, DOESN'T FIT. I could zip up the dress but I would be struggling to breath the entire night, and forget about sitting. I had to get the bottom of the dress tailored off anyways so I drove myself over here and I asked the wonderful guy that works here if he can fix my problem. And he assured me and said, "we always find a way" So the next few days, I worried that the dress was not going to fit and 5 days later I came to pick up my dress and.... IT FITS! My experience from start to finish was awesome. The male worker, I didn't get his name, was very informative and experienced, you can tell he's been doing this for quite some time, and he was really honest about everything. It had gone through mud in Hawaii and though it took an extra week from what they estimated my dress would be cleaned by, it came out as clean as it could be and I'm very happy with that. Someone I know also had their wedding dress cleaned here and had a good experience as well. The staff was kind enough to keep me updated via text on the progress of my dress and to update me on needing an extra week to clean it. Like many of the other reviews, Pressing Matters was exceptional in service and speed. I had put off getting my bridesmaid dress altered. I initially asked for a quote just to help myself pick a place but ultimately chose to trust the reviews and came here. I came in on a Tuesday for a quote and they gave a reasonable price to bring in the bust of my dress and shorten the hem line. By Friday night, they were reaching out to schedule a fitting to make sure everything was perfect. I couldn't make it out on their schedule and they accommodated me. I was in on Saturday and it was a perfect fit. As I was leaving, they noticed my dress was still a bit wrinkled and offered to steam it for me. I didn't really need it as I have to pack the dress in my suitcase and it would get wrinkled anyways but I absolutely appreciate the gesture! read more

I went to another dry cleaner before this in hopes to have a large fabric banner pressed within the next day but had no luck which brought me to this place. After doing a search on Yelp, I gave Pressing Matters Cleaners a try. I called over the phone to see if it was possible to get my banner pressed on short notice and they said they will get it done for me. I got there towards the end of the day around 6 PM on a Friday night and they were able to have it ready for me by the next morning at 9 AM! BAD BUSINESS Horrible Experience!!!! Don't trust this place. I was in need of some altering on a dress I needed quick. I called before going and the guy assured me that he would be able to help me and have it ready by Friday. I went in, he took my dress and said it would be ready by Friday at 1pm. I get there on Friday at 1pm and the man (I think he's the owner, the one with the messy pony tail) automatically blames someone else. He says that the lady who took my dress to fix it, confused him and so he told her he didn't need it until Saturday. So now my dress is not even at that location and I needed to be at my event at 2:30pm. He called the lady and asked her to bring it, he was rude to her too, she wasn't able to bring it so he said he would pickup my dress from whenever it was and call me when he was back. I left so upset! And by this time is was about 1:30pm. I had to go buy another dress to wear to my event. The man called me at 2:10pm to go back and pickup my dress....like really??! Horrible business, horrible customer service. I picked up my unaltered dress a couple days later and all be could say was sorry. I still can't believe the owner of this business tired to blame someone else for his Mess Up! So UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Save yourself a headache and avoid this place!!! read more
