our dryer at our house broke so my dad came here to TRY to simply dry our clothes but the employee working on 2/15 at around 5pm told my dad that he has to wash AND dry so they told him to leave. where are the rules that say you have to do both? it's super dirty here too. don't recommend this place and the worker was rude too read more

Location: Easy to find and there's always been parking spots. Been here about 3 times. Their 4 top load white machines always either have a sign that says "Out of Order" or the other machines' screens do not show any words/prices so I'm not even sure if they're working. However, the two machines that are not tagged "Out of Order" look really disgusting inside. I used to frequent this other laundromat by University and Chicago and they had a lot of $1.xx machines. I mainly come here to wash a couple rugs, floor towels, and floor mop pads. Hopefully they'll get rid of these non-working machines and will finally eventually have some that work and I won't be forced to use the ones that are $2.59. The nice thing is they have a couple coupons and a Wash-Dry-Fold service if you have large loads or don't have time, you can have it done for you. Also, for first time customers for the Drop off Laundry Service), make sure to print out the coupon first to get a free bag. I think I saw it's a large clear trash size bag. Load money onto a Laundry card and minimum wash (since top loads never work) is $2.59 for 25 minutes and largest machine is $8.49. To dry it's pretty inexpensive $.32. Bathroom is $.25. read more

The place is usually clean and maintained which is good! The machines I wanna say 80-85% of them are usually clean and working with the exceptions of the ones that are out of order or just dirty. My clothes are usually cleaned pretty well but I do notice that sometimes when I use the dryer I do get like small light dark stains or some times white stains. They wash out the next wash but I have had a few shirts where they didn't wash out so that sucks. So there is a possibility of clothing getting a stain from dryers. Overall price of the place is very reasonable. For 10$(minimum for the required laundry card) I'm able to wash all my clothes and my boyfriends clothes, along with bedding and towels and still have money left over on the card to do the same process again. read more

100/10!!! Great laundry mat. We were waiting on our new washer and dryer to be delivered and I had a lot of laundry. They price it per pound and I dropped off my clothes and was able to pick it up same day! The woman really worked with me and my schedule to accommodate. Clothes smelled great and it wasn't too expensive. We had well over 20 pounds and it was about $50. Paying for convenience and peace of mind, priceless! Amble parking too. You ask her the simplest questions and she is always snappy and makes the rudest faces. I needed to locate a laundry mat where I could wash a large heavy comforter. Found this facility and was quite pleased with it. Laundromat was very clean and offered variety of sizes in washers. Numerous dryers also available. I took small container of detergent however; if you happen to forget or not have any there are some available for purchase. There are attendee's that work there and are able to provide assistance as needed. If needed-This facility also offers option to drop off clothing and attendee will do your laundry. At first I was a bit intimidated, but the attendant nicely offered her assistance and helped to explain how to work the machines. I dropped off over 20 pounds of laundry at 5 PM on Friday and got it back at 11 AM on Saturday morning. It was about three loads of laundry that cost me about $25 and it was worth every penny. Everything was clean and bright and beautifully folded. I didn't get to use the coupon attached to Yelp because it needs to be printed out, so make sure you print it if you are looking to save $.25 a pound for your first visit. I also have skin allergies so they used the ALL Free and Clear as my detergent for no extra cost. Preferred laundry in the area simply due to them having so many available machines and being very spacious. Never have to wait for a machine here. They have affordable water refills here too along with other services. There are a coffee and tattoo shop next door. My only issue other than the eggy smells is that restrooms cost a quarter. It just seems ridiculous as restrooms should be open and available to customers. I'm not sure why they would require 25 cents to use facilities, maybe to deter unhoused people who aren't customers? I come here all the time and usually the ladies here are very helpful except this lady right here. She was closing off washers to actively mop and then yell at people that it's wet while they were trying to get their clothes. First off, I get cleaning and mopping as the time goes constantly. But yelling at people that it's wet knowing full blown that this is a laundry matt and people need to get their clothes too makes no sense. The other ladies would mop in smaller sections and fan the wet sign on the floor to dry faster. She didn't need to yell and then roll her eyes and walk away and then proceeds to block off the entrances with wet signs and the mop on the floor. Safety Hazzard. read more

Thought I'd give this place a try ONE MORE TIME after already having a bad experience.... Well I loaded all my clothes into this super sized machine (#14) just so it could give me a message "door not closed correctly, try again" and I ask the worker that's here and she then says "oh, this one doesn't work", (proving that she knew it was broken beforehand...) I ask her "well why isn't there a sign that lets people know that's it's broken that way situations like this can be avoided" she looked at me confused and without words, I proceed to ask her well what's going to happen with all my liquid detergent I just used to put into that machine?" And she just looked at me confused and said "the next machine will be ready in 10 minutes". Then asked the other work "can you put a sign on this machine". Wasted my soap/money on something that could have been avoided by simply them putting a sign up before other people waste their money. read more

The staff is friendly and if you drop off your laundry they do a good job at a competitive rate. Now if you plan to do your own laundry you're gonna spend quite a bit. First you have to use their prepaid card so if you don't use it all up they keep hour money , this is such a scam. They have a coin machine but that's just for their snacks. Be preto have spend at least $3 to dry your clothes even when you put in a super small amount of clothes. Want to wash 3 loads of clothes well that will cost you almost $9, 2 loads almost $7.
