This was the first time in a very long time I've been to a laundromat and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, high quality commercial equipment and the employees who helped get a newbie started. Got all my laundry washed, dried in folded in less than two hours...amazing! Only mistake I made was not noticing that each of the larger washers could hold up to four baskets of laundry. Same goes for the dryers. They even have bigger washers and dryers, too! Very impressive and nice to know I've got a solid local laundry backup in MoVal.

Their biggest machine (8 loads -$9.25) fill up FAST since there are only two of those. However, the next size washer (6 loads - $7.75) there are 7 of those. All other washers on premises range from 1 load & up. There is ALWAYS someone on site and you'll always catch them cleaning. Change machine, vending machines, and even a store is present where the attendant will break your larger bills or you can buy snacks and or laundry needs. My only gripe(s) isn't even with the laundromat itself, it's the area. As someone who's lived in the area I know what to expect but it constantly smells like weed outside and unfortunately it drifts into the laundromat especially when they leave the doors open sometimes. My second gripe is parking. The laundromat is situation in a small shopping center with Walgreens so you'll find parking but it might not be as close as you want.

The first company I hired cancelled on my at the day of the pickup stating I was just too far even though they told me they could go to my location with an extra $15.00 charge. I did a last minute search for another company and found Lucy's. I spoke with Seranna on the phone and even though I was located outside their delivery range , she asked her boss for approval which was granted. They had washers even bigger than what we needed, and I saw a large rug was being washed in one of those. The wash and dry was pretty quick, about an hour total. Their machines did the job well and it was quite affordable. The employees are very nice, kind, and helpful. I came on a weekday afternoon and didn't need to really wait, thankfully one opened up for use. I did notice all the machines were in use, so it's possible you may have to wait if you need the bigger washer. Plenty of smaller ones though. I generally don't feel all that comfortable going to unfamiliar/new places but the folks there eased my nerves. I'd go back. Thank you very much for the assistance. One thing to note is that in the meantime, you might want to bring coins in case the card readers aren't working, but I heard their payment system will be updated soon.

Upon my entrance, a homeless person was sitting inside and screaming and talking to himself, whilst waiting for his laundry. He was joined by two other homeless people who were equally strung out.
