We spent a little over a week traveling around Colorado, Estes Park, Vail/Avon, Breckenridge, Aspen, and Craftsman Brew was THE best find. Totally blow away with the flavors and richness of the dishes. Though from Austin, TX, where the queso is top notch, the queso at Craftsman was really good. Much different, yet creamy, salty and delicious. Mostly due to the salsa macha is my guess. The chips were equally great, which can make or break queso. The highlight of the meal was the green chili cheese steak. I've been all over and this was, BY FAR the best cheese steak that I've had. I'm partial to green chilies having grown up in southern NM, next to Hatch, the green chili capital of the world. Yet, wow, the flavor of this sandwich was great! Great bread, great steak, really great cheese combo, and of course, green chilies! The patio was enjoyable as well, really nice day. quiet, we had a nice time. Keep it up, you're doing a great job!!! Went here on Sunday at the last minute because Drunken Goat restaurant next door was closed. This was great! Good concept - wait, order at register, sit with tag and wait for food. Must definitely help cut down on wait staff that is so hard to find these days! Expensive in a Vail-area way. We had glasses of house-type wine for $12-13. Sandwich was $16. Fries were an extra $3. BUT - we weren't terribly hungry so we split the food. It was perfect! They even brought the sandwich and fries out split. Sandwich was the Turkey special. It was TO DIE FOR good! Loads of Turkey, grilled up with bacon, Gruyère, harissa Mayo, and we told them to skip the kraut. Buttery griddled on rye bread. Amazing. So tangy and flavorful that I'm glad I wasn't going to eat a whole sandwich myself. Fries were shoestring and crispy. I would get this again and again. Ambiance - think upscale Chipotle meets brew pub. Like, get your own silverware and napkins from a Le Creuset crock sitting on the table. Get your own carafe of tap water with plastic cafeteria glasses. Blackboard listing beers on tap. Weirdly full of Northface and Columbia dressed young families with loud toddlers for lunch on Sunday. Prompt and hustling bussers taking away metal baking trays on which food was served. You could see a couple guys behind a glass barrier cooking the food. Nice outdoor seating available too. Great Food, Management Organization Lacking I hate to be writing this because the food is so good here. But the organization is lacking and ownership needs to understand this. Today, the restaurant was significantly under-staffed. It took far too long to get drinks out of the bar and this is a brewery/restaurant where one would think that getting drinks is a priority. Also, they ran out of the homemade pretzels and this was only 90 minutes after the place opened. Being under-staffed is no doubt great for the bottom line. But as a customer, you really end up feeling taken advantage of. We stopped here on a Sunday while driving from Palisade Colorado to our home near Denver. The local fried mushrooms were a special treat. We shared a wonderful hamburger that was wickedly delicious. Not too far off the highway and worth a stop if you are hungry. read more

Trendy little place nestled in a shopping courtyard with incredible food, fabulous brews on tap, and amazing service! Perfect place for lunch - great options for the entire family! Excellent! Fresh ingredients well-prepared and in a cool new space. I like that the owners feature the kitchen more prominently to highlight the skill of their chefs. First time in Edwards and we saw this place was crowded so figured we need to stop by! Went on Thursday around 6:45 and it had a 45 minute wait, so we skipped and went Friday night and got a table after about 10 mins. Food is outstanding -- they take simple dishes and put a great, gourmet twist on them. The burger is amazing, one of the best I've ever had. The hot chicken sandwhich is good but very spicy. Cookies were a must - warm and goey with crispy edges! Definitely will come next time we're in Vail Valley. read more

We went here with some friends for the first time yesterday. No complaints and very satisfied!! They have a great beer list with not just your typical beers. I personally love trying a new beers so, that was a huge plus. The food was really really good. We had parmesan fries, fried mushrooms, Nashville hot chicken and the rock n roll(shrimp po boy type of sandwich). Everything was so good and I would order again. Can't wait to come back! read more

We walked in. The hostess was going to sit us at the end of the hallway since I had my young daughter. My 1.5 yo saw the highchair and wanted to sit in it. She loves high chairs! We started walking that way.... Because she doesn't understand wait. The hostess responded in the most bitchy tone that we needed to wait. A group of 6 of us came here on a Tuesday night. They were busy, but accommodating. We managed to get a table without a reservation in about 20 minutes! Service was great the entire night. I shared the chicken sandwich and burger with a friend. Both were excellent. The chicken sandwich definitely has some heat to it! The yams was an excellent plate. Visited with a few new work friend and everything was very good. The old fashioned I had was on point. What I really want to talk about was the star. Their burger was DELICIOUS! One of the best burgers I've ever had. It had almost a citrus essence to it.The fries were shoe string and very crunchy which are not my favorite type of fries but if that's your jam, they were pretty good.
