I can't believe I never reviewed this pizza place. This has to be the best pizza I ever had. Once my coworker friend introduced me to it. I kept going back with her or myself often. The owner told me it's Detroit-style pizza. I love that it's square shaped and doesn't have crust. I never liked pizza crust. The toppings and cheese go to the ends of the pizza. I don't live in the area anymore and miss having their pizza. I found a similar one where I live, but it's not as good as Pickup's. read more

We didn't care for the food or ambiance. Two of us shared a pizza - crust was delicious but the toppings were not spread evenly so the bites either had all sauce or no sauce. One ordered the breakfast burrito - it was like a wrap with eggs, bacon and lettuce, we weren't a fan. One got a turkey sub sandwich - said it was good but not great. Last person ordered chicken noodle soup - very small serving and only two noodles & a spinach salad - it was very boring and the onion dressing was slimy. We came at an off time so we were the only ones there but music videos were playing that had profanity (not ideal with the kids). Wouldn't recommend it. read more

Ate here with a group and we couldn't be happier. The food was excellent. We got a couple pizzas and a few beers. The pizzas were both cooked perfectly and I was a little amazed that we'd not been here before. They were absolutely delicious. They have a decent local beer selection and pretty industrial garage feel to the interior. There were a couple of TVs, one was playing football and the other was a cooking show. It probably gets a little loud if there are a lot of people, but it's got that feel. You know what I mean. Our service was great and the prices were reasonable. They were very accommodating and patient while we tried to figure out what 6 people could agree on with differing dietary restrictions. For sure I'd come back here. Grew up in Chicago so I think I've had a few deep dish pizzas in my day & Pick up pizza's are legit. Double sausage with lots of sauce and topped w cheese and man o man it was like going home. Wish they had more beers on tap ( dark beer or Guinness) read more

This was *great* pizza - gluten free options available, too. The shishito pepper topping is incredible, do not skip this. Regular crust is very thick and salty like a focaccia. I opted for cheese less pizza, which I'm glad I did, they are heavy handed with the cheese. Perfect pickup option for large groups staying nearby. I also liked that they used minimal waste practices - the pizzas came in paper bags rather than huge cardboard boxes. Lots of good topping options, loved it. read more

Delicious pizza and very friendly service! The crust is deliciously doughy. Definitely recommend eating it there -- the bags they use for to-go pizzas don't hold up in the car like a traditional box :) As is true with most to-go pizza, it's just never as good as when you get it fresh out of the oven! read more

Wow 4th time having pizza at this place over the last 18 months and it's crave worthy! I just wish we had more locations closer to Vail, but it's 100% worth the drive. This is the kind of place you just have to go try for yourself and be thankful you listened to the reviews later. If I could give 100 stars, I would. Pizza is my favorite food and I've eaten pizza all around the world and this is definitely in my top 5!! The unique deep dish pizza was not greasy or oily whatsoever and the perfect balance of flavorful tomato sauce and cheese. Not too overpowering just amazing ! I do not like to give a mediocre review for a business that started out with good service, but the quality of the pizza was mediocre. Toppings were nice variety (have never had shishito peppers on a pizza), but the taste was just so-so. It is a thicker crust (deep dish style) which is fine by me, but the crust was a bit oily. We ordered 2 larges and they were more like mediums. (Family of 4 (2 teenage girls) ate them and were still hungry.) Again, I don't like to leave a mediocre review. I know the restaurant business is hard to please all customers, but overall was underwhelmed with the food. read more

Best Pizza I have ever had in my life. I also bought a mug for 100$, which gets me a free drink every day for an entire year. It doesn't get any better than that.
