Worst pizza!!! So expensive for terrible pizza and a frozen dessert. Nobody would help us when we called to complain

A great find in Eagle. We began with adult beverages...great selection. My husband and I each ordered a small Greek salad and split a Veggie Zone. The salads were sizable for a "small". They were freshly made and delicious. The calzone was crispy on the outside, filled with gooey cheese and lots of veggies. Megan, our waitress, was a delight, attentive and friendly. I really really wanted to love the pizza at pizzaone but it was just okay. The regular pizza crust was incredibly thin and in my opinion it tasted similar to dominoes. However, I added a star for service and for the cinnamon bread. The service was impeccable. We ordered delivery, the man who took my order was incredibly kind, and the pizza was at my house within 30 minutes--I live 10 minutes away from the shop. While the pizza was just OK, the cinnamon bread was AMAZING! It was so much fluffier than the pizza crust--thick, buttery, lots of cinnamon and sugar and the frosting dip was fab. I'm a regular customer buying pizza weekly, on numerous occasions I witness the guys cutting the fresh veggies in front of me and putting them on my pizza, they really make their dough in-house and the sauce too. The menu is not very big but for the quality and selection it hits the bullseye. If you like pizza like me this is a must try place, words are not enough. I can't rave enough about this place. Unfortunately I was involved in a hit and run accident during the latest snow storm and got stranded in Eagle late at night. While I waited for my ride that was about two hours away I walked into Pizzaone in hopes that I could enjoy a slice. Not only was the pizza extremely delicious, the staff was amazing. I told one of the employees of what had happened, and he went above and beyond to try and make a shitty night a little better. I don't know what this guy is talking about, the food is great... These pies are consistently good. The chicken wings rock- actually my favorite wings from a pizza joint ever!! The only reason I gave my second review 3 stars is because the delivery guy was so kind. This is my second review, I wanted to give them another chance. Didn't end up working out so well. Didn't receive my soda, and the food wasn't so accurate. Hopefully they get others orders right. Yelp reviews are usually pretty much accurate. John, I believe you are a friend or an associate, it's obvious. You may have other places that are doing well, but maybe you should look into this location on accuracy and making your guests happy instead of putting them down. It's okay on a good night. Pizza is very simple but it seems Pizza One lacks common knowledge on how to make great Pizza and have quality wings. We were hoping for something different, as far as local pizza goes and this was a first and last experience for us. Everything from the wings to the crust and even the vegetables were not fresh, cooked frozen and tasted "stale". Garlic bread was covered in garlic powder and chewy and cardboard like. Sorry, if your looking for Domino's or the like, maybe this is ok, but Pazzo's is right around the corner and totally worth it to pick up. read more

Why are all of the good reviews hidden?! Pizza One is great. Come on people (or person who gave the bad review), it's a small town, not New York City. It's typical pizza, but very good. What makes them great is that it's always consistent, they have extremely fair prices (with awesome specials) and they are very friendly. Delivery is really fast, too. If it takes more than 30 minutes, it's because you've ordered during the peak time of a Saturday night. You can't order 4 different kinds of crust, but who cares. Chicken wings are ok. If you really need a fix, they'll do, but they're not deep fried and lets face it...that's what makes a wing taste good. The wing sauce is great, though. They may not win America's best pizza, but overall, they are AWESOME for a small mountain town! Oh and did I mention that they have a punch card?? Actually, it's signed each time, but whatever. The point is...take care of your local business and I promise you that your local business will take care of you, too. That's why we order from them once a week (at least!). read more
