Service was very slow. We had to flag down a server twice before getting someone to take drink orders. Server was not knowledgeable about beers, even though that's their thing. My friend and I were looking for a new place to try while catching up, and we decided to check out this spot. Although they accept walk-ins, we made a reservation ahead of time, and everything was ready when we arrived. The atmosphere is cute and well-designed, with plenty of TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a great spot to watch sporting events. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided great service throughout our visit. We started with the queso and chips, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor and wasn't very memorable. For our entrees, my friend ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and I had the fried chicken with sweet potato fries. Both dishes were okay, but neither stood out in terms of flavor. For drinks, we tried the sangria, which was definitely a highlight of the meal and something I'd order again. Overall, Craft has a cute atmosphere, good service, and a nice setup for watching sports. While the food didn't quite impress us, I'd still recommend giving it a try and forming your own opinion. We had a great lunch here recently. The place is massive with seating inside and on the upstairs patio. We had a high-top table in the bar area. I was impressed with how many taps they have for draft beer. The menu is huge so it was tough to choose, but there is something for everyone. We tried the queso dip, the cheddar bacon burger, and the signature Cajun chicken. Everything was delicious and the portions match the price. The service was great. The bartenders were trialing out some cocktails and the manager gave us a lime margarita to try. It was delicious. We will definitely be back to try more items and to check out the patio. read more

I was excited to see this beautiful construction happening in the neighborhood. That corner needed a facelift. The building turned out great. We waited for the hype to die down before going. The service at the bar was attentive. The queso was - fine. The chicken tenders were - bad. Zero flavor. None. They could use some seasoning. Salt. Pepper. Something. Anything. 4 beer and 2 appetizers was $80. I won't say we won't go back, but it won't be a regular stop unfortunately. We went upstairs to have a beer on the patio. Recent Wednesday evening visit and this place was packed!!! It's a huge place and it was very busy. We thankfully snagged a rez earlier in the day so we didn't have to wait, but there were plenty of folks waiting. The restaurant is nice, with lots of seating, a big upstairs patio with a cornhole area and a cute airstream bar. The food was all yummy, the drinks were all tasty, and the server was really lovely! The menu is varied and all the things we had were solid. The only thing I didn't love is that it's pretty loud, so don't expect conversation to be easy or intimate. The food was great!! I had a smash burger with fries. Very filling, loved the caramelized onion in it and it was about $20. The Moscow mule was good just the average mule! They had a lot on draft and a ton of different cocktails. I can't wait to try their frozen marg next time! The servers and hosts were very friendly! Our server checked in on us constantly and did great! The food did take a second to come out (our table and other tables) but that's to be expected at a very busy opening. If you want loud hustle and bustle and every fake person in Dallas, this is for you, but if you want an authentic brew pub, this is not it. Food was decent, but the atmosphere is fake - so loud, you can't even hear the person next to you and the amount of college aged kids was way too much. The beers are ok - of the 50 on tap maybe 10 are good. Think upscale hooters if there is such a thing. It was packed so they are doing well, but I was severely disappointed with the beer and atmosphere. One and done and even with their roof top, seems a bit overblown. If you want real, there are many choices and this is not one of them. If you want eye candy, crappy beer, a hooters style feel, and no soul, this is for you. The Good: Great service. Everyone was so nice and helpful and checked on us the perfect amount. Food was fantastic. We tried a variety of items (ribs, hummus, crispy salmon sushi, chicken sliders, poke bowl, steak bites, smash burger) and all were delicious! Loved the decor, lots of TVs and looking forward to the rooftop opening up! The not-so-good: So incredibly loud. We were at a table of eight or so and I could barely have a conversation with my friend next to me. It would be amazing if they could get that figured out! My husband and I will definitely be back but - because of the noise factor - probably not our first choice if going with another couple or group. read more

What a great first visit at CRAFT. It's clear they've trained their staff. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. We received our food quickly and it was correct, but most important it was delicious. We started with the steak bites, then got a couple of entrees. The cali bowl was great, I removed the rice so it was a little more light, and my husband got the breakfast bowl. The ambiance was great, not too loud, decorated nicely, plenty of seating options. We are excited to come back when the rooftop patio is open (it rained today so it was closed). Food was really good - had sliders and Mac-n-cheese - but bar service was slow, folks spent a lot of time standing around and talking to each other vs. checking on customers. This place is comfortable in many ways. Easy in, easy out. Can come as you are - jeans and shorts OK. Families everywhere. I get it. Highland Parkers and University Parkers need their go to place. Greeters at the door - nice. Servers and food runners nice. 1 out of 2 bartenders - pretty good. The other one not good. Food - queso and chips not great - had a sour taste to the cheese. French dip sandwich - ok. Cajun chicken house specialty - meh. I asked the bad bartender for a dressing on the side for my "salad" which was 3 small leaves of arugula - never got it. Prices all fairly high - $8 beers, $22 sandwich, $27 Cajun chicken, $10 or $12 queso. Now about the beers and bartenders. First the beers. There's a lot of them. Probably too many. 80-100 maybe. I've been in the beer business 34 years and this model doesn't really work well anymore (I do wish them luck though). Lots of the beers get old from under ordering. Often times the beer lines go too long before cleaning - I'm not saying that's the case here. The beer quality was fine - just not the best brand choices for me. The first pour was fairly prompt. Second beers - my friend ordered first, me second. Bartender brought mine and then went to make drinks for some girls at the end of the bar. He walked back by us and we both tried to get his attention - nope. He went on to make more drinks for other folks on the other side. We were almost at a yelling volume level. He didn't even turn his head. Then - a nice female bartender from the other side came over to pull a beer (there are different beer taps on each side of the bar) and we asked her if she could get the other beer my friend ordered. Yes! She pulled it with a big smile and all was good for a bit. I had to order another from her later because our bartender was MIA. Food came out fast and hot from the food runners in the back - the bartenders are not tasked with that. Our original bartender didn't show up again until long after we ate and our glasses were dry. He stayed on the other side where there was already another bartender working things just fine. It wasn't busy. This treatment kind of felt intentional. I hope it wasn't. Our side had 4 people. The other side had maybe 8 or 10 at most. No one offered us dessert. Or coffee. No one offered us our tab. My friend and I are financially well-set hetero bachelors and eat out no less than 5 times a week at some of the best restaurants and bars in the Dallas Metro. We try almost every new place in town and we are both big tippers for good service. I can't say for sure that this is a place that I will ever return to and bring other friends to. There's just too many other places doing a much better job all around. I know that may sound harsh - but that's how important a first time impression with a bartender can be. I almost always eat at the bar. A bad experience at the bar can taint future visits for me. The high points: nice greeters at the door, great food runners/waitresses , food was out fast and hot and it wasn't bad (except for the queso), ambiance real good - rooftop was closed though due to weather, clean, decent craft cocktails and beers. If you live near Craft check it out for yourself - I recommend you sit at a table. read more

This is a great place without an identity. The ownership group has built it out as a sports bar / restaurant but because ownership is not familiar with Texas sports, it falls short. Lots of tv's but most of them on replays of basketball and golf from weeks ago. For instance - they don't even have SEC network which would cater to Texas, A&M, OU and most other resident fans in the HP/UP area. Word of advice, call to make sure they get your game or go someplace else. read more

I normally come here for lunch almost every day because the food is absolutely amazing, which is why this experience tonight was so disappointing. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with easy sauce. When the pizza came out, it was extremely dry -- and I understand I asked for light sauce, but there was essentially none. So I requested a side of pizza sauce. What I received was ice-cold sauce. That makes no sense -- if I'm eating hot pizza, why would I want cold sauce? Basic common sense would be to warm it. Unfortunately, my server didn't catch this either, and it wasn't busy (only three tables). I had already poured the sauce onto my pizza because the bowl itself felt warm, so I assumed the sauce was too. When I took a bite, it completely threw off the entire experience. I flagged down a staff member, who went to the manager on duty (Max). His response was extremely nonchalant and dismissive. He said, "I guess we could have put it in the microwave," as if this wasn't an obvious issue. He seemed more annoyed than concerned. Instead of offering to remake the pizza, he asked if I just wanted it reheated -- which is not an acceptable solution. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I know that when a guest is unhappy, you fix it properly. You remake the dish or offer an alternative. I did request a remake, but even then, it still wasn't correct. I had ordered extra mozzarella, and despite being told it was added, it clearly wasn't. Overall, the lack of attention to detail and especially the poor customer service from the manager made this a frustrating experience. The food has always been great, but hospitality matters just as much. I hope management works on improving both service standards and customer interaction. Max has no people's skills or warmth or care. The server Tierra could have done better too. This girl literally said "let me speak with my manager so I can get you a discount". She never did. It's not even about discount. It's about how nonchalant management was. I come in there and I spend my hard earned money to enjoy my time. But today? Really out a different taste in my mouth. As for Max? If I were a celebrity or someone of high status, he would have shown a lot more care, warmth, and went over and beyond. But since I was looked as a regular guests...I guess my issues were no importance. At the end of the day...I'm still a guests. I normally tip the servers. But today I didn't bring myself to do it. The cook/chef tonight did a terrible job. Whoever the cook was tonight on April 13th 2026 around 10pm..do better and quit being lazy. That's common sense if someone is eating a 10in pizza and they request a side of pizza sauce - you have to warm it up. Not serving it right out of the refrigerator. And you did because the manager Max said it came straight out of the refrigerator. Like wtf. The cook is the type to say 1+1= 0....Get my drift? When i was there earlier for lunch....I experienced a small and I mean a very small issue with my food. There was too much Cajun seasoning on my shrimp and I wanted it light. Great drinks and service, but food was awful. Do not get the spicy tuna tacos. It was the worst thing I have ever ordered in my life! The tuna was micro cube small you could barely even see it, much less taste it. Had zero spice. The veggies/slaw was also a very small amount. It was all just a folded fried wonton with some rice and a little mayo-ish garnish. Others in my group ordered the wings and they said it was worst wings they've ever had. They also had the french dip sandwich and that was pretty good. Maybe hard to mess up a french dip. The vibe on the rooftop was fabulous, though, and I'd go back just for the rooftop scene and drinks. I so want it to be good, so I will go back to try it again and hope the food improves. read more
