Corn muffins and biscuits

Hey friends! We heard about the new campfire meals and stopped in to check it out! I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef campfire meal and my boyfriend ordered the chicken. The meals come with the protein, potatoes, onions , carrots and two pieces of corn on the cob. That's a pretty great meal! Besides the lack of seasoning, the meal was delicious. The beef was tender and juicy. And everything else was cooked well and steamed. If you like robust flavor, this meal may not wow you. We received complimentary corn muffins and biscuits, comes with butter and jellies. Customer service: Amazing, our server was so friendly and attentive. The cashier was super personable and helpful. Atmosphere: family oriented, great for parties Plenty free parking Prices: Average I hope you enjoy!

I requested some breakfast as we were heading home from Ocean City although it was lunch/dinner time but, Cracker Barrel always serves All Day Breakfast!!! I ordered my usual French Toast with a side of bacon and cheese eggs. The server was very attentive and the food came out pretty quickly. The store is always filled with goodies and specialty items. I have always had a great experience and will definitely return.

Haven't been to Cracker Barrel in years. Decided to stop here as we very rarely visit the eastern shore. Ambiance is always the same. Nothing has changed. Clean and everyone extremely helpful. Food: I was disappointed to see a couple of things were no longer on the menu, so we settled for the ol' faithful Grandma's Breakfast. I had pancakes and my husband had French toast. I also subbed spicy chicken sausage instead of the pork breakfast meats. Everything came out as expected. Drinks: he had orange juice, I had coffee. Service was very good! Our server David, took good care of us and payment was easy with mobile pay option. Again, everything was pretty good overall. Would stop again, if with others that want to stop.

Every time I come out east I always have to go to Cracker Barrel! Who doesn't love southern style of cooking aka fried and carby lol My usual go to is always country fried steak but I went just steak tonight This place is always fun from the rocking chairs outside to relax and or wait for your seating to the fun old tyme store with all the old school candies and toys and items to look at and buy I was a bit bummed out by my beignets they were kinda dry and my friends peach cobbler definitely was not one but instead looked like some deconstructed version that you'd find at some new wave kind of place But overall can't go wrong coming here for some comfort food!

Grandma's sampler with "scrambled" eggs.

I ordered the grandma sampler. The French toast was ok. The country ham was good. The sausage didn't have any flavor and I gave the bacon away. I asked for scrambled eggs, but received folded egg. I got a new order but they still folded it then chopped it up to make it look like scrambled eggs. Ummm, no thanks! The server was great though! She was very kind.

Bring back good service!!!! Bring back pre-covid service! I have seen the Cracker Barrel from the highway and thought of stopping several times. I expect good service and food so I was excited - well maybe set myself up for a huge letdown! I decided to order to go (the cashier said she had to get a waitress and I thought perfect because I had some menu questions). I have some stomach issues so I wanted to know what was in the vegetable soup. Seems like a simple question - boy was I wrong!!! After a blank stare, the waitress said she needed to get the supervisor. OK, weird flex....but I am patient. The "supervisor" - who looked like an unkept waitress came out. She already had an attitude, so I asked what is in the soup - she said they don't usually answer those type of questions - don't usually answer???? So, if someone has allergies............ NOW, I have a blank stare. She proceeds to tell me corn, onion, celery, carrots....ok, perfect I say. I didn't want tomatoes, beans, bell pepper, or mushrooms. None of that she says. I order the soup, pinto beans, and biscuit beignets. I get home, about 38 - 40 miles away AND must throw it all away! The price tag - $25 (included $10 tip - I always tip AND the bad service won't stop me). The soup - was made of a tomato base, included beans and peas.... The pinto beans - included a meat not identifiable The beignets - I did taste but didn't like, they were extremely think and doughy NOTE: I wouldn't usually complain BUT I asked what was in these before ordering....The menu did not give a breakdown of the soup. Not even a small indication. I will NOT return! The only saving grace is the store. The store has hard to find candy. I was happy to get stick candy.

I arrived around 1pm on a rainy August day, and on-street parking was readily available nearby. The atmosphere was maritime cafe. You order at a window near the front door and then pick a table or, if available, padded chair. With a beverage, it'd be possible to get a couple of hours of work done. I ordered the vegan crabcake. It came with a small, fresh side salad with homemade dressing. The sandwish was filling and tasty. The crabmeat substitute was made of jackfruit and included the appropriate spices and toppings. I'd definitely hang there next time I'm in Annapolis. I would plan to arrive in the morning to sample the intriguing breakfast items.

Their breakfast sandwiches are also delicious and made with really good-quality ingredients. We tried the egg, bacon, and avocado sandwich, and it was very tasty. They also have vegan and gluten-free, allergy-conscious cookies, which is a great option for those with dietary restrictions. In many of the sandwiches, you can substitute the regular cheese with vegan cheese, making it easy to customize your meal. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area right by the water. The outdoor seating area is well maintained and clean, and the bathroom was also very clean. Overall, the food is tasty, there are plenty of options for different dietary needs, and the waterfront seating is a nice bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out!

APPS; Drunken Crab Balls- Amazing!!! Give one to your date, if you aren't married to them yet they only get one, after you say 'I do' they can have more. Catfish Bites- New item and a great addition. Big, Flakly, delishious. Crab and Artichoke Dip- A large enough ramakin for 4-5 adults. Enough crab meat you almost never notice the Ham that is in it. ENTREES; No body got the same dish and didn't want to share, but they did. Crab Salad Sandwich; Huge, really huge. My wife didn't really want to let me try it, so it was a very small bite, GREAT. Her side dish was the Truffel Mashed Potatoes, I got a couple of bites of them, worth getting the them as a side. Fried Trout w/ Sauteed Veggies; I didn't get a taste of that dish, wanted to try it, but was the other side of the table. Jumbo Shrimp Caeser Salad and a Cup of Cream of Crab Soup; The shrimp were huge. My daughter slid the soup over for me to give it a try, big hunks of crab meat. Fried Oysters w/ Fried Green Tomatoes; It was a tough decision, there were 7 other ones I was thinking of getting. The oysters were large and delishious. I have never had fired green tomatoes, they were amazing. Try this place, it is great

Crab cakes and crab soup- that's what the Narrows does well!…read more We came here after listening to Groks recommendations on the way back from the cancelled Oceans Calling show. We were hungry before the bridge and didn't want to get our hands dirty picking crabs. The Narrows is a casual upscale seafood restaurant with beautiful water views. We ate outside and had a wonderful time. The crab soup was presented with sherry and old Bay to add to the soup to taste. I will give the restaurant a tip- The shaker needs larger holes as only parts of the spice mix comes out. or maybe grind it thinner. Not a deal breaker but was nice because you can't accidentally over power the soup on a bad shake. Anyways, The oysters were great with the hollandaise sauce. The crab cake was amazing! All crab! Like someone dressed the crab meat and cooked it. The whole experience was great. We have a summer place in Shady Side, MD and will drive the extra miles through Annapolis to come back. Easy 5 stars!

We were seated at a spacious booth. Service was touch and go throughout the night. We ordered a bottle of red wine and two glasses of albariño. It took about 30 minutes after being seated to finally get our drinks and when they did arrive, the server had given us rosé instead of albariño. I knew by looking at it that this was not what I had ordered so I asked if it was albariño. He insisted it was but I knew it wasn't by the look, smell, and taste. He eventually came back about 10 minutes later with the correct pours. By that point, we were starving so we put all our food in at once to hopefully speed things up. We ordered the parmesan fries, pierogies, crab dip, and beet salad to start. We also each got entrees including the shrimp and grits, crab cakes, steak, and white fish (I think it was branzino?). The appetizers were all delicious - the fries were consumed quickly and the crab dip, although not very crab meat forward, had nice flavor. They provided GF crackers as well but the dip could've used some carrots or celery too. The beet salad wasn't bad either. The entrees came out quickly before we could even finish our apps. Our order definitely was not paced correctly. The flavor of my shrimp and grits was good though and it had a surprisingly nice kick to it. We also ordered dessert - a key lime pie and ice cream(?) if I'm remembering correctly. What I do remember is that the ice cream came out quickly and the key lime pie took forever. It was weird to have our two desserts come out separately and by the time the other one arrived, the first one was already finished, making it a bit awkward. I think if the service and pace of the meal had been improved, this would've easily been 4 stars. I'm not sure if our server was new or what but the clunky service overshadowed the quality of the food. I will also mention that the check came out to about $450. A little steep but I guess that's to be expected with seafood and wine.

I'll be honest I'm still conflicted about this location…read more The good: The food is pretty decent and well prepared. Not amazing, but solid. Decent set of breakfast and lunch options for a counter café. Love the curry chicken salad. The dressing for the southwest chicken salad is not great - I would ask for a different dressing or mix it with some ranch at home. The bad: this place is very Variable in turnaround time and wait time. I've gone when they've been empty and had my food prepared rapidly, but l've also gone when they've been pretty empty and waited what seemed like a long time for a simple order. When they're busy and get in the weeds, the line can stretch out the door. All of this seems odd for a location inside of a hotel/event venue like this. Does the management team not coordinate with the hotel staff to know which weekends are hosting weddings, etc.? They should be prepared for a breakfast rush the Saturday after Friday wedding. And regardless, why are they not adequately staffed on weekends in general? I have been here several times on a weekend and it's always understaffed compared to the number of people waiting for food. Recently I walked in and looked at the line, looked at the staffing, and I just walked out. Today (Friday) I came and was the first person in line, although I think one or two people were waiting on active orders. The only dish I ordered was a Caesar salad with blackened salmon. It took 25 minutes for them to cook a single piece of salmon. People who came and got in line after me and ordered after me had their food made and delivered before I got my food. This was despite having tons of people working every station. This was not a staffing issue, but an inefficiency and poor workflow issue. I don't know exactly what the issue is back there but it's clear they have some significant problems with getting orders out on time - and that is not related to the amount of staff they have. Bottom line: if you come on a weekday or in the off hours for lunch, you're probably going to do fine. I would not recommend coming here for breakfast unless you are staying in the hotel and even then I would make sure you leave plenty of time to wait.
