Our family goes to Cracker Barrel maybe once every 2 months or so and this is the first time that I have left a review and doing so because of our wonderful waitress Shannon made a real impression on me. Now the service is always been good and the food as well at Cracker Barrel, but Shannon really seemed to enjoy her job took the time to talk to us and at the end of our meal when she asked if you had any plans we told her about our daughter going to prom and she was interested and wanted to see her dress picture and was just very very kind. Besides the wonderful service from Shannon, I have to say our food was probably the hottest that I can remember. I got the blueberry pancakes. My daughter does her French toast and my wife eggs in a basket and there's always enough food to fill you up. Again, Shannon thank you very much for the great service.

I did not expect this place to be so incredible! I had breakfast at Cracker Barrel for the first time in my life to celebrate Veteran's day. The service was fantastic; I was seated quickly and the server was very nice. She was attentive to my table, and filled my water before needing to ask her. I ask their biscuits, pecan pancakes, and tried a bit of their hashbrown casserole which was just amazing- I NEED to have that as my main dish next time. I would come here again.

Stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast on our way to Tucson because apparently our road trips now require a mandatory Cracker Barrel checkpoint. We grabbed the Country Boy platter and split it: steak strips, over-easy eggs, cheesy grits, and hash browns. The biscuits came out warm and buttery! Classic Cracker Barrel comfort. The steak strips were solid and cooked right. Eggs were perfectly over-easy (my wife's call, not mine, but they were done well). Hash browns were crisp and actually had some personality to them. The cheesy grits? Simple, good, exactly what you want them to be. Splitting the meal ended up being the sweet spot--enough food without needing a nap afterward. And major shoutout to Sherry, our server. Friendly, fast, and on top of everything without hovering. Exactly the kind of service that makes a quick breakfast stop feel easy. Would definitely swing back through on the next Tucson run.

While the country store that you walk into is great, that didn't make up for messing up my order. I asked for the barrel cheeseburger with no onions and no tomatoes and it arrived with no bun. There was no apology about that and had to wait approximately 10 minutes before I received my corrected order. The decor in the restaurant gives the feel of an old fashioned farmhouse so that it is pretty cool. I would recommend this place for the country store but advise to eat there at your own risk.

Fantastic again. We went there for dinner last week and Jaime one of their new food that came in a foil. I was hungry for breakfast here you can get both. Biscuits and gravy and pancakes. She got the campfire chicken. The service was fantastic along with the food and the bill was totally reasonable. This is a must go to for dinner.

We were really hungry when we ordered online from Cracker Barrel. Placing orders to go on their website was super easy and the order was ready when we arrived. When we finally had our picnic, we thought we were back in TN, eating fried catfish! It was divine! The New York steak was also very delicious. My father-in-law loved it! Will definitely order again from them! There's even designated parking for curbside pick up. This place is a find!

I haven't eaten in the restaurant for quite some time, and met up with a friend for breakfast yesterday. The giftshop was overloaded with Christmas items; it would have been nice to see Thanksgiving offerings. The menu was revamped and had many new selections. I opted to try the Bacon and Egg Hashbrown Casserole. It was delicious and flavorful. Our server, Lois, was attentive and exceptional. The decor has been dialed down and it felt more stark than homesite. My friend and I had a lovely time and will be back.

It's been a long time since I've been to this restaurant brand back in the Midwest not here in Tucson and this is how it went. As you walk in the restaurant you get to see the store that had many items for sale from clothing to candle items. Then you see the hostess to get your table. We placed our order and about 5 minutes later... our food arrived. That was not a good sign right there. The food was in this foil "bag" or bowl if I can even call it that on the plate that it's probably been sitting under the heating lamp aka salamander for those that work in the food I know what I'm talking about, in the kitchen for a while. The food was over cooked and tasteless, and it looked like it came out of a crockpot but it was not even that good because I've cooked meals in the crockpot at home and they were fantastic, this was not. No LOVE in that kitchen with whoever made our meals this evening. My husband had the chicken and I had the beef. Just look at the pictures I took and the ones on the campfire menu. Our food looks nothing like the food in their campfire menu pics. It was so weird eating from the big foil "bowl" that contained our meals. So disappointed on the meals this evening because we've been taking about it for days how we will go and try this restaurant since it's been a minute since we've had a dinner at Cracker Barrel. The CEO of the company should not worry about the dining room decor, they have a product quality problem not decor. I did like the way it looks inside the restaurant (decor) since the corporate office has not made those changes they seem to talk about in the news that every restaurant will experience soon. I'm writing this review one hour later after leaving the restaurant and hoping that we both don't get sick from that food that God knows how long it's been seating under the salamander in the kitchen. I hope the food was made with 30- 60 min of our arrival and I have nothing to worry about. Still, the quality of the food it's still pretty bad. Very disappointed! Now I know why we haven't had a meal at this restaurant brand in a very long time and why we will not ever AGAIN! Also, the corn bread muffins and biscuits were pretty tasteless as you can see how they look in my pics. A 10 year old kid can bake better ones. Disappointed again!

Who doesn't love a little shopping before getting seated to enjoy some delicious food! I've been going to Cracker Barrel since i was a wee girl and it's always been a good time. This time I went with coworkers for breakfast and we got seated fairly quickly. I ordered the Mommas breakfast with pancakes with strawberries and it was delicious. I also ordered the DIY hot chocolate and it was a fun way to decorate and drink it! Service was quick and our waitress was attentive and kind! Ambiance is pretty chill and inside the restaurant is cozy and warm.

Absolutely positively fantastic!!!!! My husband and I were craving fried chicken and drove from Green Valley because we had a feeling this just might be the spot to get it! Boy were we right! 4 pieces of crispy "Southern fried chicken" with two sides abd it was out of this world!!!

WOW! I haven't eaten at Cracker Barrel in like five years. Now I remember why I stopped coming. food was lukewarm like the coffee. had to ask twice for napkins My coffee was lukewarm when I finally got it. Sausage patties were room temp hockey pucks. I got half a biscuit instead of two whole ones. they were tasteless and hard. The server rarely came around and I finally had to ask a manager for the napkins and Tabasco I had originally requested. Back to Bisbee or Just Breakfast for me. Great disappointment. attached is pic of half a biscuit.

I visit this restaurant frequently, sometimes three times a week, but today we had a very unfriendly waiter, whose attitude and rude responses made the visit unpleasant. She still got a good tip because maybe her attitude is due to having a bad day, but I will not return to the store on Cracker Barrel Rd.

My Uber driver was raving about it on the way over, which sealed the deal. While the cheap beer does require a food purchase, I was planning to eat anyway--no complaints there. I went with the 3-for-$11 taco deal and it was more than enough food. You get to choose between green or red salsa; I went with the green, which definitely has a nice kick. I asked the server if they could mix it up with two brisket tacos and one pork belly, and they were happy to accommodate. After reading some mixed reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised--nothing was dry or overly fatty. Everything was flavorful and delicious. My total for four 10-oz beers and three tacos was just over $20, which is an incredible deal for the quality and amount of food and drink. I came to watch the U of A basketball game, and this place is perfect for it--plenty of TVs, tons of seating, and even space for large groups. There's also a covered outdoor patio with lots of seating, plus foosball and cornhole. Parking was easy, too. I sat at the bar, struck up a great conversation, and found the patrons to be super friendly. Overall, a great vibe all around. Highly recommend Cheap Beer Tuesdays: $2 for a 10-oz pour and $4 for a 20-oz pour. Easily one of the best beer deals in town. I'll definitely be back!

As someone who frequented this restaurant for the last few years, I had a firsthand look at how things were run, and in my experience management operated very unprofessionally. It ultimately pushed me to stop supporting this business, and based on those experiences, I can no longer recommend it. There are far better BBQ options out there. From what I personally witnessed, the owner, David, was consistently disrespectful toward employees and created a company culture that I don't believe deserves support. Also important to note that there is something up with the drains/ sewer system in this building and about once a week the entire dining room smells like a sewer leak.. gross

Wait times for food can be a bit longer due to the crowds of people, but I didn't mind it as long as some food and drinks trickled in. Pork shoulder dish: I can't remember the description but I thought some pork pieces were a bit bland, but the flavors were good. Steak: This is not featured in my photos but it's a steak dish that came with garlic potatoes and straw fries. My favorite parts were the fries and potatoes. The steak was bland and really could have used a chimichurri sauce. Duck confit white mole: WOW! Crispy duck with a delicious mole sauce. I wish there was more of this dish!!!! Malaysian curry with fried tofu: another incredible dish with lots of flavors, but it needed more curry to match the amount of rice etc. Roasted broccolini: It came with some sort of sesame sauce and coconut flakes and wow, I thoroughly enjoyed this dish! Beet cavatelli: another excellent dish. Overall, probably closer to a 4.5 here but I'll round up. There were a few minor things in execution of the dishes, but honestly, the ones that hit really hit the mark for sure. Drinks were all tasty as well! The grilled chicken sandwich is my go-to and it's good every time. We both usually get one, and a lot of the time we'll add buffalo wings, which are some of our favorites in Tucson. Good flavor, good texture, and always reliable. If anything, the wings could always use a little more sauce, but they're still one of the better orders on the menu. The only real issue, and it happens pretty often, is the service speed. Everyone there is friendly, but the place always feels understaffed, especially when it's busy. We've had multiple times sitting outside in the Arizona heat where it takes 15-20 minutes just to get water to the table, and you start wondering if you should go up to the bar yourself to get things moving. Suffice to say she absolutely raved - placing it on par with many of the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants she has sampled back east. And, we agreed, when Michelin publishes its first-ever SouthWest U.S. edition later this year (2026) I recognize getting a star is a mighty fete but if Tito/Pep does not at least make its S.W. Bib list I will know the fix is in. We started with the Queso Fundido ($13) - with chewy cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and beef chorizo it was a perfect blend of meaty/savory/fatty. We also ordered the Grilled Octopus ($17). What a surprise this was, the crunchy roasted pepper flakes and unusually soft grilled octopus it kicked the pants off of "calamari-style." We inquired and the way they remove the typical rubberiness is by poaching the octopus tentacles for 5(!) hours before grilling. You Go chef Martinez! For our entree we opted for the day's special: deep fried whole Red Snapper for two ($85)... as did about a half-dozen other tables in this intimate 20-tabled venue. See pics as a written description is inadequate. The crisp was excellent and the tender moist fish just beneath, exquisite. The roasted jalapenos were other worldly - somehow only mild heat and with a subtle sweet/acid presence... totally and entirely edible. As fantastic as the vinegar slaw was atop our self-made fish tacos, the tomatillo puree was ridiculous - so fresh and not sour that its scent was nearly as strong as its flavor. We asked again, how?! and were told they first cook the tomatillos for 3 hours. Folks, the effort involved to present this kind of meal would be nearly impossible to do at home for even double the cost. We concluded with the ganache dessert ($12). While so richly decadent it was possibly too rich, only by virtue of its size... it needs to be shared! We were deeply torn over that or the olive oil cake and will opt for the latter... next year, Lol. For drinks we ordered two glasses of their "red blend" (really good for a simple blend) and then the Pie Allen after dinner cocktail ($13) - an interesting combination of prickly pear liquor and port. The staff were amazing - not just in timely attentiveness (a minimum requirement at this level) but especially in terms of being able to field our deep curiosities about several of the dishes. Due to our "layers" of ordering we stayed an easy 2+ hours and were never rushed. Parking will get tight at peak times but everyone will be accommodated. Pre-tip we were at $165 - a special occasion outing for sure but, we both agreed, an (almost) bargain. At this level of quality and degree of effort in Chicago or Miami (places she recently lived) would be closer to $250 for two. Small note: three years ago this began, now it's the norm - restaurants are calculating the tip based upon a total that's After the tax has been added. It's a minor but, nonetheless, unconsented-to, inflation of the tip. Just an fyi :)
