Came in for a Togo order. Waited 10 minutes still no help. Ended up walking out. It's a Togo order. How hard is that

Great breakfast and mostly friendly service. French toast and eggs were delicious. They offer Impossible (veg based) breakfast sausage which was an unexpected surprise. Went on two weekday mornings while staying at hotel nearby, no wait for seating and place was pretty empty.

Cracker Barrel is pretty darned awesome because they allow overnight parking for RVers in their lots. No obligation, but they're like you to consider eating a meal in the restaurant. I'm a fan! There were quite a few other RVs when I arrived at 8pm. The "RV and Bus" spaces were all occupied and others were scattered all about. I took a spot in the corner near the dumpster as that seemed the quietest away from the highway noise. I was out and on my way at 6am before they opened. I was not disturbed all night. Inside, the "Country Store" had the usual shirts and games and home decor. Restroom was clean and the wifi is free. [Review 19315 overall - 1662 in Florida - 285 of 2023.]

It's Cracker Barrel! The food was cooked as ordered and very tasty! Our server "Kelly" was very friendly and her service was impeccable. It is a little tucked back off of SR40, but not hard to get to. They do have RV and trailer parking to meet your needs. And as always, they have everything that you can buy for your road trip. I was hungry after the long ride and I'm very satisfied with my choice of dinner.

My hubby had been working outside all day and asked if we could wait for an inside table. The host personally went and cleared/reset a table for us. My husband tried to tip him and he would not accept it. Our server was Cassandra and she was amazing. After dinner and dessert we asked for some recommendations amd she had some great ones. We had the lamb, a filet and a ny strip. All were cooked perfectly. The standout for me was the fried chicken. You can add a breast or thigh to any meal. I had a thigh and it was one of the best I have had. Crispy, tasty and the chicken itself was tender and juicy. When I come back I am definitely ordering the chicken! If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. There is free valet parking, which is helpful since there is not a lot of parking. The valet were hustling! Did I mention the heat? Don't forget to tip them. The faster they move the higher the tip in my opinion.

I chose to sit outside (something I normally don't do) since it wasn't very humid. River Grille offers a diverse menu that mixes a bit of Cajun influence with southern cooking. I placed an order for the Bayou Hurricane, some gator bites, and Citrus Bourbon Salmon served with my choice of two sides (red beans & rice and garlic mashed potatoes). As I was enjoying my refreshing cocktail, the server brought out the gator bites. It was my first time trying them, and they were actually the best thing I've ever tasted. The Cajun remoulade complemented the texture of the alligator, which was fried perfectly and wasn't chewy. The deliciousness continued with the salmon. It was grilled nicely and topped with a tasty sweet citrus bourbon bbq sauce and onion strings. The red beans & rice was cooked to a soft consistency and the mashed potatoes was creamy and flavorful. I would describe my outdoor dining experience as pleasurable --that is, until a squirrel appeared and started going around the tables as if it were a regular patron. It was all smiles until the squirrel climbed up the chair, propped itself on the table, and looked straight at me as if to say, "Hey, you gonna eat the rest of that salmon?" I knew it meant me no harm, so I didn't freak out; however, I wasn't sharing my delicious salmon with it. I slowly grabbed my cocktail with one hand and the plate with the remains of salmon with the other hand as the squirrel scurried toward me. Luckily, two servers saw my predicament and came to shoo the squirrel away. Well, that killed my appetite. I asked for a container for the leftovers and ordered dessert to go. Don't get it twisted, I'm not deterred from coming back, it will just be indoors next time.

The hostess was friendly and immediately showed us to an inside table (at our request) Our waiter shall be nameless, cause everyone is allowed to have a bad day. We asked if the calamari or gator bites were better, he said the calamari suckedl. So gator bites it was. We had the stuffed flounder with hush puppies, jumbalaya, aforementioned gator bites and shrimp and grits. The beer was iced cold, which was appreciated on a very hot day. Iced tea and sodas are refilled at no charge. The food was underwhelming, and nothing stood out. I honestly wouldn't eat here again. We did walk down to the river behind the property after dinner. It was beautiful. You can feed the fish in the river for 25 cents. We also, watched squirrels yelling at each other, and saw a few cute lizards. If you're looking for a place to have a few drinks and take in the scenery, this might be a good stop for you.

Typically, I'm someone who automatically goes for their famous chicken and waffles, but this time around I wanted to switch things up and try something completely different. I opted for the Meat Lovers Scramble Bowl, and made a quick substitution: I swapped out the standard hollandaise sauce for their sausage gravy. It was the absolute right move! The bowl was packed with so much incredible flavor and was super filling. Since I was dining alone, I grabbed a seat at the bar. The staff here was incredibly nice and attentive--more than one person stopped by throughout my meal just to ensure I was taken care of and didn't need a single thing.
