Top notch service at this location! We came hungry from across the country and they were so welcoming. Their dining room was open even past 11:30pm unlike other locations and even though it was Christmas Eve. This was my kids' 1st ever Waffle House experience and it did not disappoint. Waffles were absolutely delicious and even my picky child approved! Very freshly made. Eggs cooked to order perfectly! Steak was good so got an additional one to go! Sausage, egg and cheese sandwich, cheeseburger, and tomato slices were good, the ham was nice. And it was SO affordable. We especially liked sitting close to the grill and waffle irons to see the action! The cook even offered to take our family's photo! This team is special. read more

This is an automatic stop for us when we visit our cousins in the area. As far as the WH goes this one serves it up pretty consistently. The service is WH good and the people seem to wear a smile no matter how busy it is. Comfort food that leaves us full and looking forward to the next trip. read more

I will never eat in this Waffle House again, When I asked for milk with my coffee the waitress brought me a large 12 oz glass of milk, I said to her I didn't want a glass of milk I just wanted milk for my coffee and she told me they don't have free milk for coffee and that was Waffle House policy, I found that to be rediculous and she became argumentative after I googled if Waffle House charges for milk for coffee and google said that Waffle House gives either milk or half and half with coffee, I usually spend around $30 for breakfast for me and my wife and leave a $10 tip so it wasn't the money it was the principle!!!!! read more

A good place for Southern comfort food and, especially, waffles! This is one of the (over) 2100 locations located in the United States. It looks like there are about 190 Waffle Houses in Florida and at least 2 within a mile of each other. They are located on the opposite sides of the I-95 and Okeechobee Road intersection. This particular restaurant is located on the northeast side of the junction. Parking is limited at the location but there is additional parking in the adjacent parking lot to the north. It is set up like a typical Waffle house with a staff that greets you when you enter. You can eat at the tall counter, low counter, or in the booths to the left and right of the counters. The menu is regular American fare with Eggs omelets for breakfast and sandwiches for breakfast. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant was not very crowded when we visited. The place was very clean. The waitress came to take our order quickly. We ordered the waffles (of course) and bacon and drinks. The food came out quickly and tasted very good. The staff was very professional, the price was good and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some good food and a pleasant atmosphere. read more

Went in after a 4th of July show. We were a large party of 9, w/ mostly girl cousins 14 to 23 years old, that live several states apart. So pretty spirited with America's Holiday and a family reunion, awesomely with no drug or alcohol use... Singing patriotic songs and having fun. Serving staff were on point and attentive. Compliments to the grill master, who slayed everything to an amazing level of perfection. Also noticed he was wearing a veterans hat and the WH millionaires club shirt. I was impressed with the oddly clean operation of this particular WH. Then when all seemed like nothing could be better- I went up to pay, only to be told it has been taken care of..... I just about fell out of my tree. I have never had someone do something like that. That was so thoughtful and generous and after returning to the table and telling my wife, daughters, brother, and the cousins-- We were so blessed and thankful. I hope whoever did that for us, sees this and realizes the impact of their actions and gratitude we have for this selfless act. read more

These yellow neon lit buildings have fed countless road weary travelers, families with laughing children in tow, late night revelers and people from every walk of life. My go to choices are either the patty melt or one of their egg and meat breakfast options. But for me the big allure here has always been their hash browns. You can get the hash browns topped with a variety of toppings, you can't go wrong with chili and cheese, but really it is whatever talk to your heart. I guess you might find it odd that I have never had the waffles at a business where waffle is in their very name of the business but I am just not into the sweet type breakfasts. Whether waffles are your thing or not, I would recommend visiting a Waffle House, this location or any of their locations. read more

We love Waffle House because it is fast and consistently good food. KALA was a fantastic waitress and made our dining experience one of the best we've had n a long while. She paid close attention to what we ordered, asked for clarification such as, whether we wanted toast, if we wanted the scrambled egg on top of our hash browns or on the side, and remembered to hold the waffle till we asked for it. In short, she actually cares about serving the customer and doing a good job for the restaurant. Thank you, KALA, for getting our day off to a great start! When we walked in there was 1 table sitting there eating. Two people were laying with their heads on the counter, I thought they might be guests, but later found out they were the manager (boy) and cook (girl). The others were all standing around chatting and goofing off. I'm all for a fun work environment but it was like everyone was on break. They cleaned off a table for us. We ordered. The girl that was draped over the counter was wearing gloves and kept playing with the boy's hair and uniform. Guess she was flirting? After we ordered, she walked straight to the grill and starting making our food. The gloves were not changed, her hands weren't washed; she was just all over the guy at the counter. Eww! The guy kept playing with his long hair and finally got up and started cooking the rest of our food, without washing his hands and without any gloves. Double Eww! Neither had hair nets and she kept flipping her hair around like a girl from a White Snake Music Video. There are some serious health concerns here. Food is good and reasonably priced. They seem short staffed as many tables are blocked and it took a while to get breakfast. Our server was very sweet and took very good care of us, it may deserve only three stars but I gave it four. Place is extremely loud -- my companion and I mentioned we felt we were getting stressed just sitting there as a lot is going on. Also poor choice on their part to start mopping and the guy brought out the to,king bucket with dirty water and was placed right next to us while he wrung out dirty water and mopped. The Lady greeting us at the door was very nice. She had a southern draw and we asked her where she was from and she said Kingston Tennessee and I have property there so we bonded while we were waiting. The eggs were perfect and the grits were perfect. However our beef was with the waffle. When someone orders a 5-minute waffle with extra pecans, don't bring out a mushy waffle with just a few pecans all in the center. We specifically asked for our waffle Golden crispy and with extra pecans spread over the waffle. One of the waffles came with our meal and one we ordered separately. That is not complicated. But the first waffle came out with the meal and it was mushy and the pecans were very few and only dumped in the middle. We explained to her again what we wanted and she said "well you only ordered the second waffle this way". Really? We both described what we wanted. Why would we want one waffle mushy and the other waffle crisp when we both are sitting here explaining to you how we would like the waffle? And then to bring the waffle with no syrup and not come back. UGH! The remade waffle only had a few pecans in it and again ....dumped in the middle. They can't make an effort to spread the pecans around the waffle? I looked around and saw all the other people's waffles were mushy. You are called the Waffle House! Make a decent waffle and pay attention to what you are doing! Nobody wants a mushy waffle with five pecans sprinkled dead center. This is not the only waffle House that has done this. I have literally tried about 20 waffle houses from Tennessee to Florida and they can't seem to get this right so I'm done. This was my last ditch effort to try to get a decent waffle. It's Waffle House. You know before going in that's it's a greasy spoon. Don't go in expecting high quality. This is a tiny one on the side of a highway next to a fruit stand. We stopped here on the way home from visiting my son in South Carolina. We were the only 2 people in the place other then 2 employees on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was clean as was the restrooms. We sit in a booth next to the grille. Big mistake we could tell area didn't look like it had been cleaned recently. We both ordered the eggs and home fries smothered and covered and both ordered were wrong. She person cooking the food was also the waitress. Not sure were the other employee was. No drink refills.
