Stopped by for breakfast m these folks have it going. Quick service, my eggs with ham were excellent, and potatoes were spiced with paprika, for an interesting twist. This place is always good, always. Have a great feeling for these folks. Yum.

Nice little, family-owned restaurant, serving Boston fare with Southern touch. Owners Harry & Sharen, & even the older guy making sure tables were cleared & clean were friendly with welcoming smiles; our server attentive. Breakfast Specials... I had 2 eggs poached over corned beef hash, Black tea & honey, toasted Raisin Bread, butter on the side... too full to eat the home fries. Easy access; big parking lot, shared between several businesses & the DMV. Super close to Flagler Beach, off the I-95. Def worth stopping in, if traveling by &/or you feel like having a home-cooked style meal in a friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic little place tucked away and most likely overlooked. In an older strip mall you wouldn't think much but, you'd be wrong. Super nice owners and workers. Service was great. They only serve breakfast food but do it all day and do it well. Portions are huge. I couldn't finish mine. They have crepes, build your own omelets, eggs. Toast, pancakes, home fries, biscuits & gravy, and all the breakfast items you can think of. I order the breakfast #2 that comes with 2 of everything: eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon. And home fries. Along with toast. Pancakes were the size of plates. My wife had the 3 of everything but it omits the pancakes. Our friend built her own huge omelet. Everything was great and big portions delivered with a smile. We will definitely be back. One downside for me was only Pepsi products. Plenty of juice, coffee, water options though. I would highly recommend.

The service of the establishment, was wonderful and the ambiance was a slight the be in. However, the food was of best quality. In the two orders that you see the home fries were burnt, the bacon was drenched in grease. The coffee was watery like it was sitting there for a long time. For the salisbury steak it was could of tasted better or have a crunch to it. The last thing that was an extreme turnoff was the clients behind us found a hair in their plate. Overall, it's a place to have a quick meal nothing more.

    All the protein and carbs!

I was looking for the best breakfast spot in Flagler Beach, and this is it. The line to get seated moved quickly. The service was overly friendly and kept the coffee rolling. French toast was amazing.

A nondescript breakfast restaurant near Flagler Beach from the outside. As soon as you walk in you find every seat in the house taken! Wife and I saw Flagler Beach restaurants reviewed online and chose this place as I wanted a place to park. Very glad we selected Sammy J's Boston's Best Breakfast. My eggs were not greasy and appropriately over easy runny. I found that they used real butter on their toast, English muffins, French toast, etc. The wait staff even inquired as to the status of how the scrambled eggs should be prepared: wet, dry, or lightly browned. That was definitely a first for me and scrambled eggs! I saw lots of people having pancakes with toppings. Most individuals were also eating home fries. On this particular Sunday they closed at noon. That was a hard close on the restaurant and you weren't getting in. They continued serving everyone already inside though. Am I gonna go back? Absolutely! However, make sure the restaurant is scheduled to be open or you'll be driving down the road looking for another breakfast spot.

Not many people out n about so I couldn't really get a vibe for what the place would be like when it gets busy. But it was a great spot for breakfast and we sat on the rooftop area inside so it was covered from the rain, but I can't wait to go back someday for the outside ocean front deck, even closer to the water. I ordered the Irish Benedicte with hash that is homemade on premise with slow roasted corned beef. Very tasty. The side of Home fries were thinly sliced and I had gravy added to that so it was tasty too. Our server was excellent, Trevor was a very nice guy and he recommended we come back for the all you can eat ribs. I wish I was staying in town longer and I would. I'll make a point to come back next visit.

Second visit to Next Door Beach Bistro and once again -- phenomenal…read more Last night I ordered the Beef Bourguignon with cream potatoes, and it was everything this classic French dish should be. The beef was incredibly tender, slow-braised in a rich red wine reduction with pearl onions and mushrooms. The cream potatoes underneath were smooth, buttery, and perfect for soaking up that sauce. Every bite was delicious. We started with the Filet Carpaccio, thinly sliced and topped with shaved parmesan, capers, arugula, and crostini. Fresh, light, and beautifully plated. The bar program deserves its own mention. You can order a vodka soda anywhere, but here they elevate every drink with presentation and detail. Instead of a simple lime wedge, I watched drinks come out with full lime rounds resting on the rim. My Chocolate Martini dessert drink was practically artwork -- topped with a dehydrated orange slice, chocolate shavings, orange zest, and crossed chocolate-dipped sticks. It looked incredible and tasted even better. Atmosphere is another win here. Guests ranged from cocktail dresses to casual beachside attire and somehow it all fit perfectly. That balance is hard to achieve, but they've nailed it. We sat on the patio (about 67°) and they had the panels down, which kept it comfortable while still letting you enjoy the beachside atmosphere. Even the hallway to the restrooms was lined with art -- thoughtful details everywhere. Some restaurants look great but don't deliver on flavor. Others taste great but lack atmosphere. This place does both exceptionally well. Dinner for two with drinks came to $131 before tip, which felt very fair for the quality of food, cocktails, and overall experience. Looking forward to visit number three.

The drink menu has so many good options. We tried the espresso martini, lavender martini and an extra dirty martini. All were delicious! The ambiance was really nice. They played a great mix of top 40. Lights were kept low and the seating was comfortable. Tables were close but not on top of each other. I took advantage of their prix fixe weekday special. It was such a great deal! Available Sunday through Thursday 3 to close. I had the lobster bisque that comes with a delicious sliced baguette and the sherry on the side, the salmon frites for the entree which was amazing and the chocolate mousse for dessert. All of this was $39! The quality and care that goes into their dishes is evident. I can't wait to go back and try their seafood pot pie! Service was great! Our server had a great personality and helped us with recommendations. It was great experience!

I ordered the grilled chicken and asparagus, which showcased the kitchen's skill. The grilled chicken was a mix of perfection and slight disappointment; one breast was cooked flawlessly, while the thinner piece was a bit dry, ultimately leading me to leave some behind. On the positive side, the asparagus was impeccable--tender yet crisp, a true highlight of the dish. To elevate my meal, I opted for the butter garlic sauce, which was nothing short of exceptional. Its rich flavor was a delightful addition, enhancing the overall dining experience. However, I found the extra charge of $3.00 for a portion that barely covered one chicken breast and two asparagus spears a bit disappointing. The sauce was so delectable that I ended up purchasing an additional container to take home for the asparagus I had left. **Beverages and Ambiance** The Beachy Sangria was another standout, offering a refreshing complement to my meal. It was perfectly balanced and added a delightful touch to our dining experience. The ambiance at Barnhill's is equally noteworthy. Dining outdoors provided us with stunning views of the waves breaking on the shore, making the meal feel even more special. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, enhancing our overall enjoyment. As for the service, it was good and our waitress was friendly. While there were a couple of minor issues, particularly with the chicken and the portion size of the sauce, the overall experience was delightful enough to warrant a return visit. The combination of scrumptious food, refreshing drinks, and a breathtaking view leads me to rate Barnhill's a solid 4 stars. I genuinely look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu.
