I recently visited Chicken Salad Chick and had a great experience. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad croissant sandwich with the mini sugar cookie, mac n' cheese, and fruit. Needless to say, the Buffalo Chicken never disappoints I would come back just for that sandwich alone. The mac n' cheese was good as well; it reminded me of Publix mac n' cheese in the best way. The fruit and cookie were nice additions to the meal. Overall, I'd give the food a solid 4/5. But thanks to the super friendly employees and the cleanliness of the restaurant, my overall experience is a 5/5. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I ordered the Turkey Sandwich which was tasty but sparse on meat. There were two small pieces of Turkey which barely covered the bread. It was very not worth the price they are now charging. Since raising their prices, reducing the availability of sides and now the reduction in the amount of meat served. I will no longer have lunch at their restaurant. read more

Food was delicious. I had the classic chicken salad sandwich, with a side of chicken tortilla soup. The meal deal also came with a pickle spear and a delicious mini cookie to top off the meal. My wife had the chicken salad with cranberries and almonds which she loved. The restaurant is very welcoming inside... light green walls with rows of booths as well as some tables. I'm shocked, what happened. We always bring people to Chicken Salad Chick when they visit. We usually do go to the Port Orange location. Today went to pick up Chicken Salad Carol for our get together at a friend's house today and was very surprised to find only chicken and mayo. It tasted like it came out of a can and mixed with mayo. Even though the sign says that there is finely shredded chicken breast, minced celery , and seasonings. It was very bland tasting. And this was the second time recently I ordered a unsweetened ice tea, and received a no ice warm ice tea at this location. Already a fan of Chicken Salad Chick from visits to its locations in Georgia and Port Orange, Florida, as well as take out from the newly opened Wellington location in South Florida, I was stoked there was one in Ormand about 15 to 20 minutes from my Mom's house. I enjoyed their special spicy chicken salad they had for a limited time on a BLT Croissant Sandwich. The meal helped fuel me for the drive back to South Florida. I have finally tried this place I've seen billboards for. This location was clean and the ladies at the registers were very nice. The portion of chicken salad was as much as I needed for my croissant that came with a side of soup and small cookie. At the time I tried using my Yelp special that was on the app and the manager shot me down and gave me attitude like I was some kind of scammer. I wasn't insisting that it had to be honored. RJ and I stopped here with the kids for lunch during our 24+ hours drive to the Keys. It's fantastic, especially if you don't want the same old fast food. They offer samples of some of their different chicken salads, they had me at buffalo chicken. But I would try all the them. Staff is super friendly, and lunch for the 4 of us was $19 which was much cheaper than we expected.
