I'm so happy that they put a Cracker Barrel in my favorite Maryland City...... Annapolis! I love the freshness and newness of this store. Spacious and more modern design with the same homey feel. My food was served hot and my pancakes were made the way I like it with the crispy edges. Add the fresh biscuits, cheesy hash-brown casserole, fluffy eggs and crispy bacon. Then wash it all down with an ice coffee. Amazing and affordable breakfast. Enjoy!

Opening day at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (02/02) and BABY... they showed up ready. Yes, it was crowded -- as expected -- but the wait to be seated was only about 15-20 minutes, which honestly felt like a miracle considering the turnout. The staff kept things moving, and the energy in the building felt like the community had been waiting on this moment. Décor-wise, it's the classic Cracker Barrel charm we all know and love -- the nostalgic country store vibes, the front porch rockers, the old-school wall pieces. I will agree with other reviewers that this location feels a bit smaller than some of the surrounding ones. The dining room layout is slightly different too -- they've installed booths throughout, which I didn't request this time, but I'm definitely trying that next visit because I love a good booth moment. Now let's get into the important part: the food. I ordered the steak & eggs (with cheese), potato hash, and sawmill gravy -- and of course you can't come here without the iconic biscuits and apple butter. The food came out fast and piping hot, which is always a win, especially on opening day. Everything was good overall. My only small critique is that the steak could've used just a touch less salt -- but that's an easy tweak and honestly expected when a restaurant is still ironing out opening-week kinks. What stood out most was how efficiently everything ran despite the crowd. No long waits for food, no chaos -- just solid breakfast execution. Overall, this new Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is absolutely giving the Annapolis breakfast scene a run for its money. If they continue refining and maintaining this level of service and speed, it's going to be a staple in the area. Welcome to the neighborhood -- looks like you're here to compete

Some coworkers and I went in last week for lunch for the first time. Our server was super attentive and kept on top of everything even though our party was rather large. My friend and I could not decide between the original or the grilled tenders so we got one of each and split the tenders. The original tenders were good and came with a choice of three different dipping sauces. The grilled tenders had so much flavor and I would definitely get them again in the future. As sides I had the carrots, dumplins and hash brown casserole. I really enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend this new Cracker Barrel location.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. My friend and I arrived last night around 9:30 PM, and although the posted closing time was 10:00 PM, we were told we couldn't be served. From the moment we walked in, the staff gave us uncomfortable looks and seemed to communicate with each other to avoid attending us. I understand that arriving close to closing time can be inconvenient, but as customers, we expected at least a professional and respectful response. The attitude we received felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this place. I hope management can address this issue and improve their customer service.

Friendly and attentive service! (Thanks Olivia K.) Tasty food and the usual good Cracker Barrel experience. Grilled catfish was good, fried okra was done right, and green beans were excellent!

He let me know about the half off wine special and half off pasta Wednesday specials as well. We ordered the salmon with Brussels sprouts wild catch dish, crab dip, and the Cheseapeake pasta. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The pasta had a rich lobster cream sauce with plenty of lump crab meat and shrimp. The crab dip was flambéed table-side and it came with hot naan chips. Unfortunately, we did have to wait a while for our entrees, and after 40 or so minutes we decided to cancel due to other obligations but still ending the dining experience on a good note. Another minor issue was with the check at the end of the meal and the Titan Hospitality rewards program. My card was ran on our voided entrees and I corrected this I ended up losing my $10 Titan reward on the wrong check. I will say, the manager on duty did mention he would speak to corporate about reimbursing me. Overall, great atmosphere, good food, awesome drinks, and Durant really did do a great job. I am glad we did. First off, looks can be deceiving. Part of the reason I've never come here before is because from outside, it looks like a dodgy sports bar. And while the inside is most definitely for sports fans, with plenty of memorabilia and TVs, imagine my shock when I got a taste of the service, the food, and the overall vibe of the establishment. Our server was a very nice young woman who did a great job of checking on us without coming off as overeager. My brother and I aren't big drinkers, but that didn't dissuade her from not giving us as much attention as other patrons with bigger tabs. I ordered the french dip and my brother got boneless wings tossed in the honey old bay sauce. This is definitely elevated bar food (with great portion sizes to boot): my sandwich had freshly baked bread and came with fresh cut fries and a savory au jus. My brother commented and said his wings tasted like they were battered and fried to order. The prices are moderate -- given the level of service, the taste of the food, and the portions, we definitely felt like we got our money's worth. I'm happy to add this to place to my rotation -- just proof once again that sometimes the best places are the most unassuming!

Alexander's once before, and it was good enough for me to come back--and it did not disappoint. For this area, the cost was surprisingly budget‑friendly, especially considering the quality. The town center around it has clearly changed, with several stores and restaurants closed and even the old adjacent parking lot gone. But once we walked inside, the experience was excellent. Our server was friendly, helpful, and honest with her recommendations. My daughter and I both ordered the Chicken Palermo, and it was outstanding--fresh, tasty, and served in portions that rival anything back home in Texas. The broccoli was delicious, and I swapped one side for Brussels sprouts, which were just as good.

For a restaurant with a full bar, it was surprising they had no mezcal and were supposedly out of top-shelf bourbon, yet still served me a drink that tasted overly sweet and nothing like the premium bourbon I ordered. Another letdown was the lack of bread service. Other J. Alexander's locations usually serve croissants, so having none available took away from the experience. The food didn't make up for it either. The steak lacked flavor and felt low quality for the price. The "fried chicken platter" was basically oversized chicken tenders marketed as an entrée, and the mac and cheese was watery and bland instead of rich and creamy. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and poorly executed. Between the missing staples, questionable bar service, and underwhelming food, this location did not feel worth the cost.

Full On Craft Eats. The Toast online ordering system was easy to navigate and adorned with pictures of every menu item. I could not get past the onion rings on the starter menu hoping they would taste as good as they looked. My friend offered to split the Slammin Salmon sandwich and onion rings since she has had it before and never finished the entire thing. I took her up on it and the order was placed. A quick ask for mom to grab it on the way home and the food made its way back quickly. WOW is all I can say. When you order food to go there is a level of expectation that it will not be as good as it is at the restaurant, especially fries and onion rings. But in this instance WOW. Talk about food that travels well. Fourteen minutes away and the food was still warm, the onion rings were so crisp, and the garlic and dill aioli and onion ring sauce were just right. The Slammin Salmon was served on ciabatta bread that was not too soft not too hard, with salmon cooked perfectly. The lemon dill aioli was a game changer so much that my friend's advice to order extra was well received and committed to memory. The onion rings lived up to the hype, cooked perfectly with a crust I cannot even explain. The kind you bite into without losing the entire onion from the breading. Dip it into the sauce and you have a match made in heaven. Half the sandwich was more than enough but the next day I would have loved some leftovers. Now for the extra razzle dazzle. I left to visit a friend in DC and sent him the menu, shared my experience and he was locked in to try. Online ordering was closed since they were closing at 10pm so I called as a last-ditch effort since the anticipation was already there. The nicest most warm individual answered ten minutes before closing and was more than happy to take my order. She even made sandwich recommendations. I quickly arrived at a shopping center that was easy to get in and out of. Walking in you immediately arrive at the counter and takeout area to your left with a nice bar area a short walk past on the right. The cooks and wait staff were having the best time using the 6/7 saying that was all over social media late last year. They were considerate when they noticed I was in the restaurant, but I assured them I loved their energy. I see why the food is so good because the energy shows it was made with great vibes and laughter all around. As I grabbed the bag to leave the hostess stopped me to add another fork and extra napkins since I would need them to add the pickled veggies on my sandwich. Such a nice touch. Thirty plus minutes to DC and the food still did not need to be reheated. The Mai Thai sandwich was a hit with flavors that married well and the onion rings delivered again. The Spicy Thai wings were good for wings but typical. They had a lot to compete with.
