I'm so happy that they put a Cracker Barrel in my favorite Maryland City...... Annapolis! I love the freshness and newness of this store. Spacious and more modern design with the same homey feel. My food was served hot and my pancakes were made the way I like it with the crispy edges. Add the fresh biscuits, cheesy hash-brown casserole, fluffy eggs and crispy bacon. Then wash it all down with an ice coffee. Amazing and affordable breakfast. Enjoy!

Opening day at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (02/02) and BABY... they showed up ready. Yes, it was crowded -- as expected -- but the wait to be seated was only about 15-20 minutes, which honestly felt like a miracle considering the turnout. The staff kept things moving, and the energy in the building felt like the community had been waiting on this moment. Décor-wise, it's the classic Cracker Barrel charm we all know and love -- the nostalgic country store vibes, the front porch rockers, the old-school wall pieces. I will agree with other reviewers that this location feels a bit smaller than some of the surrounding ones. The dining room layout is slightly different too -- they've installed booths throughout, which I didn't request this time, but I'm definitely trying that next visit because I love a good booth moment. Now let's get into the important part: the food. I ordered the steak & eggs (with cheese), potato hash, and sawmill gravy -- and of course you can't come here without the iconic biscuits and apple butter. The food came out fast and piping hot, which is always a win, especially on opening day. Everything was good overall. My only small critique is that the steak could've used just a touch less salt -- but that's an easy tweak and honestly expected when a restaurant is still ironing out opening-week kinks. What stood out most was how efficiently everything ran despite the crowd. No long waits for food, no chaos -- just solid breakfast execution. Overall, this new Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is absolutely giving the Annapolis breakfast scene a run for its money. If they continue refining and maintaining this level of service and speed, it's going to be a staple in the area. Welcome to the neighborhood -- looks like you're here to compete

Some coworkers and I went in last week for lunch for the first time. Our server was super attentive and kept on top of everything even though our party was rather large. My friend and I could not decide between the original or the grilled tenders so we got one of each and split the tenders. The original tenders were good and came with a choice of three different dipping sauces. The grilled tenders had so much flavor and I would definitely get them again in the future. As sides I had the carrots, dumplins and hash brown casserole. I really enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend this new Cracker Barrel location.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. My friend and I arrived last night around 9:30 PM, and although the posted closing time was 10:00 PM, we were told we couldn't be served. From the moment we walked in, the staff gave us uncomfortable looks and seemed to communicate with each other to avoid attending us. I understand that arriving close to closing time can be inconvenient, but as customers, we expected at least a professional and respectful response. The attitude we received felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this place. I hope management can address this issue and improve their customer service.

Friendly and attentive service! (Thanks Olivia K.) Tasty food and the usual good Cracker Barrel experience. Grilled catfish was good, fried okra was done right, and green beans were excellent!

Felt as if there wasn't as many food options, very close space and took awhile for our orders to be taken.

A great Father's Day spot for brunch!…read more Ordered the strawberry avocado toast, which was unexpectedly delicious and refreshing! My husband had the smoked salmon avocado toast and it was so filling he couldn't finish it! We got the kid's meal for our child, which I'm assuming he enjoyed very much as well? He was speechless for sure the fresh-made poptart was pretty good! Many thanks to Huey for taking care of us! Our seating was upstairs with other families also there for Father's Day, but seating was much quicker than I thought :) It was a little pricey for two adults and a toddler, but it was worth the visit go check it out!

Went to Iron Rooster recently and overall had a really good experience. We started with the BBQ…read moreRooster Bites and they were honestly delicious. They are definitely lighter on the sauce, so if that's your preference these are perfect. Personally, I like my wings a little saucier, so I would probably ask for extra sauce next time. The chicken itself was fried perfectly and the portion size was pretty solid. For my main, I got the buffalo chicken wrap with no buffalo sauce and it was amazing. The lettuce, guac, and pico all tasted fresh and paired really nicely with the breaded chicken in the wrap. My only complaint with it is they go pretty light on the guac and pico, so I wish there was a bit more of both. The pricing overall was fair too and didn't feel over the top for the quality and portions. The fries that came with the wrap deserve their own mention because they were phenomenal. Crispy golden brown on the outside with a soft, fluffy inside. Honestly, I'd come back just for the fries alone. I requested outdoor seating when making the reservation and they have a really nice outdoor section with a great atmosphere and view. They did a good job with the space they had, but the tables are pretty close together, so you can hear basically every conversation around you. The chairs were also a bit smaller and not the most comfortable for longer seating. Service was great all around. Our server was very polite and even helped my very undecided sister choose her meal. Everyone was friendly and it definitely feels like a nice place to bring friends or family. My only real complaint, and honestly this applies to a lot of places nearby, is the parking. It was pretty rough. Other than that, definitely a place I'd come back to.

We had a really nice dinner here…read more We tried the mushroom appetizer and the old bay pierogies both were really good. The ribeye steak was fantastic and the sauce complimented it really well. For drinks we had the rum and gin. The gin drink was fruity and my favorite out of the two. The desserts I would give probably 3-ish stars. We had the almond cake and it didn't have much of a taste and the whip cream that came on the side must have been accidentally mixed with something that had processed onions because it had a really strong onion aftertaste. Our waiter was really nice and gave really good recommendations. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back to try out their lunch

Bright and open inside with friendly service. We ordered a handful of mimosas and got a couple of small bites to share. Sourdough Foccaccia - this was pretty good, warm and toasted. Pork Bites - I loved the flavor but thought this was pork belly and not ground pork. Overall, flavor was good but the texture wasn't great. Crispy Kale - this is very popular here and we really enjoyed it. The cumin yogurt really brought it together. Pickled Squid - Not what we expected but I actually really liked this dish. We did also order the Coconut Panna Cotta for dessert. The raspberry was pretty prominent here and wasn't as custard like as expected, just a little too soft but the flavor otherwise wasn't bad. Overall, everything was pretty good and I would visit again to try other items on their menu.
