We ordered one cup of Maryland crab and two grilled chicken sandwiches. Twenty minutes go by and the waitress tells us our order will be out soon. The thirty minute mark hits and she comes back and apologizes, says she is new and the order wasn't submitted. The soup is ready and will be right out. At 40 minutes she brings us one cream of crab soup. We remind her it is suppose to be Maryland crab and she apologizes, takes it back with a woman with longer black hair. That woman with the black hair gives the table next to us (who were seated 15 mins ago) their food. She goes past us again to give them extra plates. I ask her, can we please get the soup? She knew we were waiting, she heard there was a mixup, did absolutely nothing to make it right. She's bringing extra plates to the table next to us. She comes back with another cup of cream of crab and two salads. We said we give up and left. At no point did anyone offer a roll or anything to us. Knowing they kept bringing the wrong thing or hating us wait for that long. We sat there and wasted 46 minutes to drink water.

The two pianist did no dueling at all; they did mostly duets or took turns taking requests. I was hoping to witness a musical battle. In addition the food was horrid. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with the mushroom risotto but twice my shrimp were undercooked literally gray lines still on the shrimp. When I asked for melted butter for my broccolini I was given cubes of cold butter. I then ordered the short rib having given up on the shrimp and the short ribs slow cooked would surely be done and savory however the carrots could not be cut with a knife at all. I returned the dish and decided to give up. My partner ordered the fish and chips but the fish and chips had a charred old taste as the grease was old and therefore the food had a Smokey taste. I looked at my surroundings and everyone pretty much ordered sandwiches and fries of which they left ample amounts of food untouched. As for the drinks the holiday margarita was mostly ice, very thin small glass and there was no edible glitter in it as promised per the menu. No beers on draft. U had spoke highly of this place after my experience with Chef Ahmad but since I regret I can no longer speak highly. Last but not least the grinch and Santa were the personality for the evening and carried the energy. The waiter due to me not having any food did not comp, send over a manager or right the wrong. I will not return nor recommend. Either do events well or food well; this event was a miss on both. We left early as the event was mediocre at best but also I was hungry and in need of food.

For our entrees, we ordered the meatloaf, prime rib, stuffed shrimp, and Irish Whiskey Glazed Salmon. They all came with your choice of sides. My friends enjoyed their meals, but I was not impressed with the glazed salmon. My salmon was not completely cooked when it arrived, so I suggest telling the server if you want it medium or well done, etc. The server corrected it after it was sent back to the kitchen, which was handled well, but I personally didn't love the bacon flavor in the glaze. That said, they have a new chef and an updated menu, so maybe I will return to try something else. Overall, it's a relaxed spot for food and drinks.

The steak was tender, the eggs were cooked just right, and the chimichurri brought a fresh, herby brightness that balanced the richness of the dish. The feta added a nice salty finish that pulled everything together. If I had one small note, the potatoes could have been cooked a little more for a crisper texture, but it didn't take away from the flavor of the dish at all. The overall taste was still very strong, and the components worked really well together. The pancake was another highlight. Huge, fluffy, and beautifully browned, with chocolate chips throughout and just enough sweetness to make it feel indulgent without going overboard. Simple, classic, and very well done. Service made the experience even better. Bria was personable, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. She kept everything moving smoothly and added to the welcoming feel of the visit. Overall, a very solid brunch experience with flavorful food, strong portions, and great service. I'd absolutely come back, and I'd order the Chimichurri Steak and Eggs Hash again.

I arrived around 10 p.m. and honestly the highlight of my visit was the non alcoholic Blushing sangria. It was really good. I ordered the Steakhouse wedge salad, medium rare, but for some reason they were not able to deliver the steak at the temperature I requested. It came out medium well and the one piece I tried was extremely tough. I ended up sending the entire dish back. BJs does have a late night happy hour with some decent appetizers and drink options. They also offer a five dollars for five wings special, so I tried the dill pickle ranch dry rub wings which were actually good. That is all I ate for the evening. My date ordered the jambalaya which was okay and the lemon pepper wings. Service was the main downfall because everything took a while and our server could have checked on us more often. It's a Caribbean spot with a full brunch menu, so yes, the food takes a little time... but that's part of the experience, not a flaw. Given the size of our party, the service held its own. It was steady, attentive, and friendly without feeling rushed--which honestly matched the vibe perfectly. If you come in expecting lightning-fast turnaround, you're in the wrong mindset. Come to enjoy your time. Now let's talk food. I ordered the steak, and it did not disappoint--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. But the real surprise? That biscuit and butter. Listen... I could've made a whole meal out of that alone. And the mimosas? Nice and light--exactly how our group likes them. I didn't get the oxtail and grits, but I didn't need to. One look across the table told me everything I needed to know--full-on bowl-to-the-chin action. If you know, you know. It wasn't overly crowded for a Sunday, but the weather had randomly dipped back into winter mode after teasing us with 80 degrees, so I'll give them that. Overall, great experience.
