We ordered the pirated combo with the butter sauce and it was so good. Will probably try it in spicy next time. Will try again next time for the crab legs. read more

Staff are friendly and accommodating, ready to explain the menu or suggest combinations if you're new to seafood boils. The crab, shrimp, and other seafood options are generally fresh and well-prepared. They offer a variety of sauces, with their signature all in mix blend being a standout. You can customize the spice level and you can add your favorite sides which include corn on the cob, potatoes, sausages, and rice, which complement the seafood boil perfectly. The beignets with Nutella were absolutely heavenly, so light and fluffy with a perfect amount of powdered sugar. Crab N Spice is a solid choice if you're craving flavorful seafood in a fun, relaxed setting. read more

The server Brandon did great and the food came out super quick! The order wasn't wrong either.

Good food at a great price.... lots of garlic decent flavor, could use a bit more spice though. great deal for AYCE seafood.... would like hush puppies on the menu read more

My partner and I drove an hour to see what the hype was about since it was all over social media. I'm not going to lie, the food looked delicious online -- but in reality, we were completely disappointed. The food had an off taste and the quality was terrible. For the price, I expected so much more. Customer service was a 0/10. Yes, they're "nice," but that doesn't do anything. They didn't ask if we wanted water, didn't give napkins, and never offered a bucket for food waste. It even took two other workers to tell our waiter we needed the check. On top of that, the advertisement was straight-up misleading. What they promote online is not what you get, and there are a bunch of hidden surcharges. They played one song the whole entire time we were there too.. I do not recommend. Save your money and time. Don't go on a date here. Don't bring your family here. read more

Crab N Spice Carson - Crab boil - Seafood Near Me - Carson, California

This new spot opened in Carson so we went to try it and wow I've never seen an all you can eat seafood boil spot before . The food was delicious the sides were made well and the seafood boil seasoning was perfect . A lot of places are always to salty but this was balanced ! We did the all you can eat and ate till our stomachs burst . You can order A la Cart if you don't eat a lot . The advice was impeccable and if it's your birthday they really put energy into singing you happy birthday and making you a big deal ! Want to make a special emphasis on the dessert ! They have beignets and it's not normal ones it's a crescent beignet and it's delicious !!! Talk about perfectly baked layered!! crispy on the outside soft on the inside ! read more

The host sat us pretty quickly. The waitress took forever to get to us. The server and her attitude her tone isn't very welcoming and she sounds very upset. The music is loud she sounds very angry she did not mention the full rules before AYCE purchase. She [ mention anything about the the menu on the back and to read. 165 for two people I could've went to Dining In the Dark or else where for this price and the little amount of food we received I'll share the videos when I get home. ..... Michelle is not a very good server the first round of AYCE was okay but not all that. The flavor was there but not in the seafood. Just boiled. The food for two people came up to a lot. The sausages aren't cooked well they are soggy and soft taste like a hot dog. The beverage cups for ice water are extra small the beverage cups from fountain drinks were bigger. She asked if I wanted a small or large drink but did not mention the small is a water cup from jack in the box lol, the drink didn't do what needed to be done a waste of seven bucks. We asked for the tab and Togo plates she has yet to bring them she takes over 5 min to bring something as if we'd run out without paying smh. She looked so happy to tell us that we had to pay for food instead of informing us the first time around. The sauce I got was medium spicy the first one was perfect amount of spice dry but it was worth seeing what the hype was about. The second batch was so spicy my lips burned. The crawfish were tiny. The lobster wasn't clean all the way. The crab legs were not your average snow crab clusters you receive most places. The gumbo seafood small is what they are such a disappointment. I will not be back! It's a waste of money and time and definitely could've had a great date night for these prices for two people. Such a crazy way to extort people out of money. Even the add ons was small the photos lie don't waste your time. Also their was so many ring cameras even one directly in my face as I ate made it very uncomfortable to eat or even talk because I felt I was being watch l. My server did not do a good job with giving us the crab and spice experience we thought we'd get so for that I gave 1 star. read more

G is so awesome! I came her with my sister and my boyfriend. He was very attentive and helpful in selecting the spice. Gave great recommendations, I didn't feel pressured to pick something he was very patient. They definitely enjoyed his service as much as I did. Again G like the letter! 10/10 service and the vibe was really great in the restaurant read more

I had high hopes for this place based on the good reviews, but my experience tonight was completely unacceptable. The website clearly states that the restaurant closes at 10 pm, so I arrived at 9:12 pm, well within the advertised hours. However, I was shocked when the host or server refused to seat me. He said that he can only offer me a chance to order my food to go. He told me that the kitchen closes 30 minutes before the restaurant's closing time, which would have still given me at least 15 minutes to order my food--hardly enough time to make a decision, but enough to enjoy a meal. I understand that some places may need to start cleaning or prep earlier, but it is incredibly unprofessional to advertise one closing time and then refuse service because of an arbitrary "kitchen closing early" rule. This policy was never mentioned on their website or during my call to inquire earlier in the day, and it shows a clear lack of respect for customers. It's not just frustrating; it's misleading, and I feel completely taken aback by how I was treated. People rely on accurate information, and if you're going to have a closing time posted, it should be honored. I won't be returning, and I highly recommend anyone thinking of coming to double-check whether they'll actually be allowed in before showing up. read more

My sister n law and I went in on a Sunday afternoon. We both had the Captain's Choice w/ Crab n Spice sauce. THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD!! I love a good seafood boil and you cannot beat $45 in California. If you have a big appetite, they do offer AYCE for a base price of $40; however, after the first plate, any extra snow crab, & lobster is extra. But if you love shrimp, crawfish, and mussels, that's included in the $40. The place was clean , (bathrooms very clean) and they even were showing the Ram's & Eagles game. 10/10 recommend!!!!! read more

I ordered the all you can eat crab potato corn and crawfish and shrimp ... Most of my crawfish and shrimp was very mushy...and the mild sauce I picked was not good at all it had no flavor!!! And when the waitress gave me my bill to pay she kept coming over asking me if I was ready to pay...when she clearly seen I was still drinking the rest of my beer!!! I will never come back to this place it is very overrated...and I have had way better seafood spots!!! read more

Never again. I don't leave reviews often, but Crab and Spice deserves a warning label. I came in hoping for a solid seafood boil and left with regret. I ordered a combo with crab, lobster, crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, and sausage--and everything was either overcooked, rubbery, or just plain gross. The snow crab legs were skinny and dry like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp since last week. Shrimp? Overdone. Crawfish? Mushy. Even the potatoes were sad. The whole plate felt like a mess of low-quality seafood dumped in a bag with zero care. And the service? Just as disappointing. Our server never once checked in on us. The one time she sort of acknowledged our table, she walked off mid-convo for her break. Seriously? Between the awful food and the non-existent service, this was a waste of time and money. Never coming back. read more

We recently visited and dined at this restaurant. It's a new restaurant so we weren't sure what to expect. It was so full so we weren't sure but then their front person immediately greeted us and got us seated sooner than we expected. The server greeted us with a warm welcome and explained how to order. We were quite hungry and everything looks good, so the server also gave us some feedback about the menu. We love seafood and so we were all excited! When we looked into the menu prices were just right!!! Very reasonable! We got our food and it did not disappoint! The taste was just perfect! Also, the place was clean. Food was served on the perfect time. We will definitely come back to this place and will recommend to everyone! read more

"What's left of the best crab boil you've ever had? Beyond the empty shells and lingering aroma, you're left with the memory of that incredible flavor, the satisfying work of cracking the crab, and the warmth of the spices. SAVE YOUR TIME MONEY AND PEACE- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !! I came here with my son and his father because I kept seeing videos on social media. It was over hyped. The flavor was good but the seafood was overcooked and dry and our server Michelle had a most sarcastic attitude, we showed her nothing but kindness and even tipped her although she did not deserve it. Her service was slow and she spoke to us that we owed her something or like she was upset we were even there. We will not be coming back ever, our first and last time. there are ample seafood boils around to even want to come back. 2/10 recommend, it's a hard no for me. read more

I have never wrote a review in my life but server michell had a bad attitude on top of that she said my sons meal was free and still charged me and had a attitude when I asked her about it food was very disappointing if you know about sea food boils you know this really not it 40 dollars all you can eat does not apply to your own bag everyone has to share out of a bag but the most disappointing thing was Michelle covered in kitchen boil juices it's smelled really bad ... read more

I have been to the one in Vegas and this location now. It's a little different as in Vegas you get your own bag and at this own everyone has to share one bag so you can't have different heat levels when getting the all you can eat. Also at the Vegas location you can pay more to add all you can eat crab where here you have to pay $18 for each additional cluster. The service was great, there girls were really nice. The down sides were they just give you tiny water cups and all the seafood was slightly overcooked. It was nice to try but I probably won't go there again. If I'm gonna splurge on seafood I want it to be cooked nicely. read more

A lovely local treasure. I come here often for the great AYCE deal and amazing service. I can never get passed 2 rounds because it is so filling! P.S. get the beignets!! read more

Worst seafood restaurant I've ever encountered. We were going to order the all you can eat, until the server invited us that even though we eye paying separately and ordering different items, our first round would be served together all on 1 tray and we could not take what we didn't eat with us. That being said, in my heart of hearts, I believe that the leftovers from the all you can eat is put back into rotation For the next customer's round I'd ask you can eat. I had crawfish claws (I didn't not order crawfish) in my bag of shrimp and snow crab legs. The only flavor I tasted was garlic even though I ordered the Crab n spice original flavor. We wasted $167 on food and lack of service. read more

Definitely delicious. Great ALL you CAN EAT. FOR 40. For kids is 18. Not bad. The flavors all great. Nice amount of food. The service was good. Very attentive. The ambiance was good. Nice n vibing. Good idea to wash ur hands before u start to dig in the amazing food. read more

The best deal in town for all you can eat! Not the freshest of course but the best deal for sure. Can't beat them price $40/person. My service was good but seem like they separate section for helping so noone would help you if they are not your waiter/waitress. I could be wrong but i have tried to call people that wasn't my server to ask for napkin and such and there were all ignore pretending they don't see or hear us. But if our waiter walk by, he will notice immediately. Restroom was clean. Easy parking. read more

Sea food was fresh and good quality. Sauce was tasty but the sides were bland (it tasted like the sides were boild in water rather than in sauce). I will be going back for the AYCE. read more

Came here for the bday! Our server Elisha is it you gurl? Blue hair? Anyways, promote this laday pls! She was so accommodating, patient and understanding w/ my parents. They're older and were having a difficult time understanding the process for their first time at a boil bag restaurant. The clam chowder here is creamy and bomb! The seafood was pleasantly good! I had creamy no sandy mussels, the shrimp was plump and the crab sweet. I love they offer quail eggs here! Creamy and lovely when soaked in the bomb sauce! I say the spicy here can be more of a medium at Thai places. Spicy is what we got, the garlic is plentiful, sauce here is good!!!! We were full off our first round ‍ but $40 for full seafood boil o-k! It's fun clean and what you would expect for a modern seafood place. They have a wash sink so that's a nice addition! My parents said the bathrooms were clean I definitely think it's worth at least a first try for ayce boil. But also if you're into clam chowders this place is up there. My husband thought the bread bowl was good too. read more
