Everything was packed incredibly well, incredibly carefully, and with all needed coverings to keep them safe. Put everything in the new place, built everything very efficiently, and even offered to get missing screws if we needed from local Home Depot. What can I say, incredible experience! Place was fully built including difficult items to rebuild. Al in took 3 hours total with moving time. If you are thinking to move yourself, or get movers, think about Step By Step. It was just slightly more than yourself, but hassle free to the max! I cannot imagine ever not going with them. Was incredible, incredible experience and recommend it to anyone I know moving! This was also my second experience, and as good as the last! Seriously I am recommending them to anyone I know moving. I cannot imagine not going with them from now on, and will recommend again to all I know moving!

We agreed on 600$ for the move-in from the storage to the new flat and they finally charged me 200$ more so 800$. The total move costed me 2200$. So they keep lying and charging more. And they spent 30 min doing their paperwork rather than actually moving stuff. Very bad company, I really don't understand how they have this rating. They are a total fraud. Stay away.

Alex kept encouraging me to use their boxes yet he would only allow me to fill them half way before he would tape them closed. They were $5.00 a piece. I finally realized what he was doing and I made him aware that I was on to what he was doing. I'm a disabled senior. They sure didn't treat me as such. They also left me with many things to do after they left to go to my new place. So of course they got there before I did and of course they kept the clock going . But I needed them to help me throw out some things and do a few things as they knew I was a disabled senior. Which I felt they took full advantage of. They were very disorganized, they just dropped things right inside of a room or just dropped things randomly anywhere so that the room would fill up quickly. There still are rooms I still can't even get into because there's heavy bags and boxes that I can't even move. There are quite a few items that were labeled clearly out of the 5 of them they put them in rooms that they felt like putting them in.The office is in the basement so they put things labeled office in the kitchen or dining room. It didn't matter what label I had on it they would put it in the room closest to them. They were taking away from places to actual put things because they laid a mirror or picture down instead of leaning them up against a wall and thus now where therr could be a stack of boxes is now just 1 mirror. They did no planning nor organizing of anything just random items plopped anywhere they wanted. After Alex told me the price of $3712.25 you could have knocked me over with a feather since I never ever expected such an outrageous price. I was out raged and they were going to bring my stuff back to the original place because my bank has a daily limit and wouldn't let me give more than $2000.00 THAT night. That's how NOT understanding they were. One of them asked me for a candy bar that he saw me packing which I thought he had some nerve and then topped that off by asking me for a bottled water..After $3712.25 get your own darn candy bar and water. They also kept leaving the door open which kept triggering my oil tank to go on. Im not trying to pay for oil that Im not getting to use. Im not trying to heat up the outside. I can't find things. Certain rooms I still can't even get into. And Im still finding things that dont belong in the room Im in..Towards the end of the night Alex was quite rude and quite smart ass when I eould ask him yo put something where it should have gone in the first place. Plus they didn't put my couches back together.Alex argued with me over TV remotes that I couldn't tell which was which because they are identical and HE had put them together in 1 container. All in all it was the worst experience ever. They are horrible they are extremely over priced. And another thing.. They got my couch stuck while moving it out from my old place and they couldn't unstick it so Alex says it is stuck we can't move it and it will cost more to put it over the railing. But THEY got it stuck themselves. They get 0 stars. I would never ever recommend this place to my worst enemy. They need to refund me the money for the oil they wasted, among other things, oh and they broke a plastic tote by putting very heavy cardboard boxes on it. Stay away from stark they are starkly DELUSIONAL that they are worth it or any good.

Jada made Cujo look like a fluffy puppy. About a month ago, I started the daunting task of looking for a reliable mover who wasn't going to charge me some crazy extraordinary amount. I went on Yelp and did the "select all" option for a quote. Immediately I got a response from Pavel of LUMY Moving Inc. I looked for reviews but couldn't find many. Hours later I received 4 more quotes who had numerous positive reviews and a quote of $145+ per hour! I did some research and saw LUMY was a fairly new company that was founded in 2019. I thought everyone must start somewhere so with a bit of hesitation, I decided to give them a chance. Also, Pavel's price was much more reasonable at $95 per hour. I emailed Pavel several questions along with a change of move date. He was very responsive and accommodating. Well let me tell you, these guys absolutely ROCK! They wrapped all my good furniture up so it didn't get scratched. Got all my stuff out of my old home into the new one in under 4.5 hours! More importantly, they were cautious and good about being sure my baby girls were safe (Darcy and Jada). These 2 guys went way above and beyond! When they were finished, even though they had another job to go to, asked if I needed help with anything. Before Pavel and Max left, I asked what does LUMY stand for? When they told me, I thought to myself; It's obvious isn't it? It stands for "Let Us Move You" If you are moving and seeking a awesome moving company, look no further. I can say with confidence that you would NOT be disappointed if you selected LUMY to assist you with this important day. I think back about judging them on being new and having a lack of reviews. The truth of the matter is, they worked harder than a company in business for a longtime. They want to prove themselves and build a respectable company. They unquestionably are on their way!
