*After hearing horror stories about friends' long-distance moves using the large broker companies, I shopped around and was thrilled when I found A&B Twin Movers. Chris basically held my hand throughout the experience. He broke down the prices so I knew exactly what I would be paying for. *Three young men came at precisely the time they said they would and introduced themselves to my husband and me. Each piece of furniture was carefully wrapped and boxes carefully placed in their truck after having been assigned a number. I wasn't the least bit concerned about my fragile containers of Delft china. *Five days later as promised (we paid extra for guaranteed delivery), two young men pulled up into our Durham, NC home. Again, the men introduced themselves and carefully laid tarps on our hardwood floors so as not to scratch anything. Furniture and boxes all made it in once piece! *I hope not to be moving again for quite a while, but if the occasion arose, I would definitely call A&B Twin Movers. A friend who works for one of the "van line" companies advised me to hire a company whose front man was available, answered all questions posed, responded promptly, etc., etc. and Chris fit the bill!! read more

I hired A&B Movers for a long-distance move. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The moving crew arrived nearly an hour late, and communication was minimal. A significant issue arose when a large box was lost during the move. The delivery crew searched extensively but could not locate it. The company acknowledged the loss but was unable to provide a fair resolution. Their insurance claim was denied because their policy does not cover mysterious disappearance, meaning they lacked proper coverage for lost items. Despite initially implying that insurance would cover my claim, they later refused to compensate me. Additionally, I discovered that A&B Movers backdated a contract page and produced a signature that is mine to avoid responsibility. This matter has since been reported to the police. The process of seeking reimbursement was frustrating and prolonged, with inconsistent statements from the company. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company for a move. I was so impressed by A&B Twin Movers! They are professional, reliable, and SO HELPFUL! From scheduling to the very end of the move, everything was easy and convenient. Chris was our point of contact and he was informative and responsive before the move. On the day of the move, he arrived on time with two other guys and they got right to work, carrying down all of our belongings down FIVE winding flights of stairs! Despite the intense physical labor and June heat, they were pleasant and eager to help. Once we arrived at the new place, they unloaded everything and placed it exactly where I wanted it, put together the bed and tables, and helped me stage some decorations. They cared about protecting our belongings and making sure they were delivered right where we wanted them. Great Service. Highly recommend! We moved form Boston to Tampa. Belisario is very professional, punctual, friendly and responsive. I was very concerned about all the process bc it is a long trip but Belisario was always responsive returning my calls and texts. A&B Twin Movers moved me on the hottest day of a 5 day 'heat wave' in July They arrived right on time, introduced themselves and immediately started moving boxes from a third floor walk up down to their truck. There were three men assigned to the job. One gentleman immediately started taking inventory. The movers were very focused and efficient. They carefully wrapped the sofa, chairs , shelving. I really liked watching their technique when they wrapped a chair, sofa... I was so impressed with their work on a scorching hot day , I called Chris in the middle of the move, to tell him what a terrific crew he had. This company was great! They more than Exceeded my expectations. Starting with the original quote, online inventory/confirmation system to the professionalism and courtesy of the movers on move day. The movers were not only on time, but early. They treated my things with care and even packed a few items they wanted to ensure moved safely. They wrapped ALL of my furniture (the good and not so good). They were able to disassemble and reassemble my furniture quickly. placing things as I wanted at my new place. Chris in the office answered all my questions & called me back / emailed me very quickly with my numerous follow up questions since I was out of state . the quote to move was very reasonable compared to other companies I called - over $200 less !! Chris and his team worked magic when they got to my house and everything I had was inly partially packed. They helped out with big boxes that my daughters medical supplies could go in. The took very good care with my daughters medical equipment and her hospital bed. All were wrapped up tight! I also had a 100 yr desk that they wrapped up even the legs and it arraived with not a scratch on it. I spoke with Chris 4 to 5 times before the move and he calmed my fears. Full multi day move. The team came one day and helped remove 50% of our furniture to better stage the house. They stored it meticulously . when the time came for the full move the brought the old stuff picked up the new stuff and drove to Cape Cod and moved us in well into the evening . always polite , always hardworking a great crew . they re-located stuff with a simple request and did not leave until we were satisfied. We had a short window of time to move a small household to Georgia. Chris in the office was very helpful and made it happen. Four guys arrived at my house and wrapped, loaded, and inventoried everything. Our driver Licho was in contact with us during the trip (we were driving our car) and we were able to nail down a time to meet at the apartment complex. He and one other guy arrived at 7:30 am. They carried everything up to the third floor (no elevator), laid down carpets and assembled beds. They were gone by 10:30! Amazing job! read more

I needed someone to unload my Pod and I was told to give A&B a call. Belesario returned my call almost immediately. We agreed on a rate and he said he could do it that day! He and his help fought the traffic heading to Cape Cod for the weekend and unloaded my things very quickly and safely. They are great, friendly, and personable people. I felt right at ease with them. Just completed a move from Revere to Boxford. I highly recommend this company. Chris who coordinated the move was extremely responsive to my questions, even over the weekend.
