Thank you fellow Yelpers for helping me find this gem. I had been in Detroit visiting a friend for about 10 days now she decided to take me up to Shipshewana flea market in Indiana so we took a road trip. We got hungry midway through so as always I looked on Yelp and I found this place. It got good reviews so we decided to stop and we had a good breakfast as you can see in my pictures. One friend got the omelette, another got eggs and ham with marbled Rye bread, and I had a breakfast sandwich on a homemade English muffin. Sounds ordinary? I kinda thought so too but what sets this place apart is that everything is homemade. And it was all absolutely delicious. The only reason I'm not giving this place a five star rating is that there were several items on the menu that I wanted for example the homemade cinnamon rolls, homemade pecan roll, homemade biscuits that they only serve on the weekend. LOVED it

M parents found this place, and my Dad took me there one morning for breakfast. I wasn't sure where he was taking me as we were driving on country roads, but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Country Charm Cafe. The breakfast was great. I had scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast. After eating that I had a freshly made warm cinnamon roll. While the eggs and stuff were good, I think next time I'll just get the fresh-out-of-the-oven cinnamon roll! A few days later, my Dad and I went back to check out the lunch food. We weren't as thrilled with the lunch items. I'd give this place another try for lunch, but I will probably be going back more often for the cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls.

A simple photo for a simply good grub spot. Been coming here my entire life. The food is second to none along with the service.

Been coming here my entire life. They have the best pies in town and their food and service is second to none. Everybody who knows anybody around here stops in for a home cooked bite to eat. The food is made from locally sourced produce, grain, meat and dairy so you know you're getting the best. It's a great meet up for gatherings, and a nice spot for dates. One of the head chefs also has a catering company for those family gatherings. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My favorite diner to stop at when I'm working in the area. The food is very fresh and the portions are generous; it lives up to the name.

And I was really struggling over the lobster bites and a special prosciutto burrata appetizer so guess what? She sent out a half order of the special on the house so we could try them both!!! The beef carpaccio was melt in your mouth and don't get me started on the fresh pasta. Everything was house made and DELICIOUS! And the filet was cooked perfectly, just like the al dente pasta. My husband's chicken parmigiana was yummy also. And the desserts were delicious. We will definitely be back!!! Best place we've eaten at in a long time. And the atmosphere was casual and inviting.

We started with the whipped feta, lobster bites, and the garlic bread. The whipped feta is an absolute must have. I will be dreaming about this until I have it again. They give you toasted ciabatta and cucumbers on the side to dip. Even with the cucumbers, this dip is absolutely amazing. Very refreshing. We went with the miso glazed Chilean Sea bass & the chicken parm. My husband really enjoyed his Sea bass and I absolutely loved my chicken Parmesan. It had the best spaghetti I've ever had in my entire life. The sauce had a tiny bit of heat that really added to the flavor. I loved my meal!

The place radiates friendliness and you truly feel like a regular when you walk in, warmly greeted right away and taken care of the entire duration of your meal. My family had returned after a long day of theme park food and I needed something lite - and their seasonal salad was just what I needed. It was a very generous portion with some of my the sweetest strawberries I've ever had with candied walnuts, feta cheese, and a delicious vinaigrette to go along with it. Skip the theme park dining when you can - or at the very least, supplement it with this delicious cuisine and friendly service.

For an appetizer, we ordered the wedge salad and the Buffalo Chicken dip. I got the perch dinner for my main course. The kid got a chicken sandwich and my wife got the brisket Mac n cheese. They said that the kitchen was backed up. Honestly, it was totally not an issue. We were just relaxing, watching the game and chilling after a 7 hour drive from NJ. What was an issue was...... appetizers came out exactly the and time as the main courses. WHY????????? It couldn't have taken that long to throw blue cheese, bacon and tomatoes on a chunk of lettuce and pump out the Buffalo Chicken dip and then worry about the main courses later. Now we have to decide, do we want to eat the entrees or even touch the appetizers. That alone always ruins everything. Food was very good. Like I said, people were very nice but you just can't bring everything out at once. Defeats the point of "starting" with something.
