Came here with a group of 11 ladies and we were seated at a table in the bar. We were celebrating a birthday. The waitress was good dealing with 11 older ladies. Well the food, I was her 4/5 times in the last 4 years. They were very inconsistent and that sucks if you can't depend on what you're getting. The food took a bit but the food was better than I had remembered. Service was understandable, it was very crowded.

This is an amazinggg restaurant! The ambiance is amazing. Perfect for date night or a special occasion. Our server also gave us a detailed overview of the menu which was helpful since it was our first time. The drink menu is expansive. We split the Delmonico and it was wonderful. We had oysters, southwestern creamed corn and the truffle fries. We did not have a single bad dish. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you keep coming back because you want to try everything!

My first time dining here for a work dinner and presentation. This is such a hidden upscale gem in downtown Braselton. The decor was very nice. We had a private event fixed menu with filet , salmon, and chicken options. The steak was perfectly cooked along with the salmon that I had a taste of. Our servers were excellent in timing of our food. All the appetizers were tasty and the drinks as well. There are 2 private event dining areas. We had the front of the house area which was perfect for up to 30 people. I would definitely return on my own and recommend to give this a try if you want to get a way from the hustle and bustle. Packed house so make a reservation.

The ambiance at the Cotton Calf is very sleek , modern and beautiful. With the kitchen being centered right in the middle surrounded by glass for onlookers to see all the action!! Very cool!! Service was par and solid and on point. The food was highly recommended to us by neighbors and friends, it is the best known restaurant on the high end$$$ in downtown located in Hoschton GA. The Filet mignon steak was full of flavor and delightful! As well as the "twice baked" sweet potato which was covered in cinnamon, butter and bacon. Mmmmm The asparagus was a little bit on the mushy side, but definitely had good flavor and the lamb chops looked and seemed to be absolutely elegant and delicious but slightly charred a bit too much for our taste. That seems to be the theme of this restaurant with the little extra char and love that is put into their cooking . I would recommend trying this place if you're in the area and looking for a special event and or special night out with your loved one. Highly recommend making reservations as walk-ins are very slim . Enjoy

Perfect spot for a special occasion or celebration. Came here for a birthday dinner and it exceeded all my expectations. The filet was wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side dishes and drinks were excellent. As you would expect, the service was top tier and perfect for a special occasion. We had dessert given the occasion, which is rare for us, and it was out of this world. The ambiance in the restaurant is relaxing and very conducive for a nice night out with friends or for a date. The prices do match the high quality of the food and the experience, but it's certainly worth it if you're prepared and have proper expectations.

Every year's wedding anniversary has a 'theme'; year two is Cotton. So, my punny husband made reservations for us at the Cotton Calf Kitchen for our cotton anniversary. It was incredible. Nicole is very friendly and knowledgeable, it's obvious she takes great pride in her work and making sure every guest has a great experience. We had the oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. They were the perfect temperature and the ingredients were balanced perfectly (garlic, cheese, spinach, and prosciutto complemented each other splendidly). For main courses, my husband had the Wagyu hanger steak and I had the lamb rack. Both were just *chef's kiss*. The lamb in particular was amazing. Perfectly cooked, and the sauce was just heavenly. My husband even dipped a few pieces of his steak in it! I will say (and this is a nit pick only because of how pricey it is and I know many of us are careful with our budgets), if you're deciding between the steak or another main (like lamb or sea bass, etc) and you prefer a more medium or under steak I'd advise going with the lamb or seafood. We've been here before (and had the filet and ribeye, in addition to the hanger this time) and the steaks both times had a few places where the outside was charred beyond chewable (and the steak was medium rare). Again, that is just a nit pick because of the price of the steak. Because it was our anniversary, a complimentary crème brûlée cheesecake was brought out to us with "happy anniversary" written on it. A very sweet and nice touch. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for a great wedding anniversary

Our anniversary comp.... So darn good! Possibly a mousse and chocolate cake...

First off we'd like to say service from the beginning was great! Attentive waitress by the name of Cheyenne! She deserves all the praise. Not even a few minutes sitting down and settling we've ordered drinks and it came out with some bread in less than 10 mins maybe even 5 mins honestly. (That's how quick it was) She gave us all the awesome update and run down of some of the menu items. We ended up ordering raw blue point oysters for a light appetizer -10/10 so clean and tasty! We also got the Chilean sea bass, which was flaky and so buttery that's a 10/10 in our books. Del Marco dry aged steak 16oz, fantastic and perfectly cooked (medium). Well seasoned and natural flavor of the beef. Our sides were prosciutto green beans & asparagus- both 10/10, cooked perfectly and delicious! We had reservation for the lounge side and it was just right with great ambiance! We'll be back!

Ugh, I had been wanting to check this out for years. I really wanted to like it. Hubby and I decided to try it out for our anniversary dinner. Ambiance...lovely. Seating in some areas is a wee bit tight but overall I liked the vibe. I loved the open kitchen you could see into and there were a few booth seats right in front of the expo area. Service...great. Server was really nice. Manager stopped by to see how our meal was. Our leftovers were boxed properly and everything was timely. Food...ehh. It just wasn't great! Honestly wasn't even that good at all. It lacked flavor and for the price point...I mean c'mon. We ordered the Delmonico ribeye and the Cajun ribeye. Split a chopped salad and also got the brussel sprouts. I didn't finish any of it...and even though I got my leftovers boxed to go...I never ate it. It's sad but honestly I would have preferred a steak from Longhorn My hubby did eat all of his steak, but he doesn't believe in things going to waste. He said it was an average steak, but he did really enjoy the brussel sprouts. Perhaps I'd give it another go. But not if I was footing the bill. I won't make that mistake again.

OMG! where do I start?! This place is amazing. A very tucked away secret hide away! Our Server, Lauren, was the Absolute BEST! We made a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday and so glad we did. Reservations for 8:00p and got a text 30 mins early that our table was ready. Cool. It was only a 10 min drive. Arrived the venue is breathtakingly Beautiful. Didn't even know this place existed but it was so welcoming. the two young ladies at the door greeted us as we entered and sat us immediately. Our server was such a delight, she knew the menu front and back and even gave us some great suggestions. We started with Moscow Mules to drink and Fries Green Tomatoes for appetizers, which were both on point. We were then introduced to a medley of bread with a compound house made butter that was so good and blended so well that we tried it on the steak and OMG! It changed the game. Lauren also brought out the regular butter.. I wasn't quite sold on the corn so Lauren suggested we 'taste test' the corn so she brought it out, YESsSsS!! So I ordered the filet mignon Med Well and he ordered the lamb chops Med while we shared the creamed spinach, creamed corn and potatoes.. Everything tasted like Perfection. I can't describe in words how good each bite was. The food, service and overall experience was Amazing. Lauren went above and beyond on Customer Service and made our dinner a Joy. This restaurant was a unique great surprise and hidden gem. I told our server that it was his birthday in a message during dinner and she brought out a cheesecake slice with a candle! What a way to Top the Night! After dessert, we both ordered a coffee with side of Bailey's.. an after dinner treat if you will.. The coffee didn't disappoint, was hot, fresh and delicious! A Perfect Ending to a Grand Dinner.. So glad we decided to stop in this place. it was such a delight! Will definitely be back for Round 2!

    Pear berry martini! Delicious.

We added hot sauce to the ranch- I recommend. There were a few that were under-fried (don't eat the orange ones). Our server was fantastic and really on the ball. The other staff we encountered were all very friendly. The owners really need to investigate and solve the fly problem. They were everywhere (and this is inside). It was a first for me to have fly fans included in my table setting. They did the trick, but not a good look. No We will definitely be back for the beer. That went very well so we wanted to check out the space and food at Versailles as a possible wedding venue. Walking through the hotel there were no greetings from concierge. With possible wedding guests staying on the grounds that was a red flag. The "restaurant" itself was giving food court. The host standing at a stand in the middle of the room was weird and probably uncomfortable for the actual host. She was also the only "professional" one there during our visit. Wait staff was not put together at all, as well as the possible person in charge. I'm talking sloppy, questionable hygiene, and under the influence of somethings. Food was cooked well for the most part. My risotto was definitely undercooked and when I notified the gentleman (manager?) he asked me if I wanted to keep the fish and just have the risotto redone. We tried to scoop the fish onto a plate at the table but he ended up just taking the whole plate. That whole thing was odd. New remade dish was the exact same. Our friendly and kind southern charm of awaitress brought us coffees and was attentive in making sure we were having a nice morning. FOOD: 3.5/5 The buffet items were visually appetizing, with an assortment of sweet and savory items. Constructively, I feel that the tastes were just average with most breakfast buffets around. It needed a little more oomph to be considered stellar. The mini croissants were flaky and tasty, along with the jams. This was probably my favorite item. The waffles were yummy, but I would've expected pure maple syrup instead of corn syrup artificial pancake syrup, at a place like this. Scrambled eggs were okay--I should've gone with a customizable omelette from the chef station. I feel like they were missing more dishes--it almost felt sparse despite the several stations. Still, over all, we enjoyed our tastings. Other than my somewhat harsh critique that I hope gets taken as helpful rather than hurtful, we really enjoyed our morning here.
