carbonara pizza
Kristi Y.

this is a great pizza spot up in phinney! really vibey (DARK) inside, great for a intimate gathering, date night, happy hour! def a spot more geared towards a smaller group, there were small booths and some bar seats right in front of the pizza oven, which might be a fun experience. came in for happy hour right as they opened and got seated right away, but filled up pretty quickly even on a weekday! also, i must mention their happy hour is pretty great, $5 off pizzas (avg price before discount was $20-25 per pizza) and i think some other deals on their drinks. we ordered the carbonara pizza and the quattro stagioni (which translates to four seasons per our waitress, and it was pretty cool, the pizza was divided in four quadrants of all different toppings!). the pizza here is definitely on a thin crust, but the actual crust part packed some dough! and it's great for dipping in their BOMB olive oil....... i actually cant stop thinking about it, the olive oil was so fragrant and flavorful, and dont miss out on their chili oil too, which almost had a sichuan pepper quality to it, kinda fun. loved their red sauce, a little unsure about the carbonara, it felt a little to dry/just cheesy to me. toppings were generous. but the olive oil.............. do the olive oil + crust

Burrata pizza, no meat, add arugula
Jen A.

Tried the burrata pizza and was underwhelmed. The toppings were sparse, and there wasn't sauce as intended, but not even olive oil or anything making the pizza quite dry. I skipped the meat that came on top and asked for arugula instead. Would have thought that could be an even swap, but was charged extra. Inside was on the small side and pretty warm. Outside seating was nice, just quite loud with the crowd that was there that night. Service was good, however. Overall, not my type of pizza. I might go back and try the gnocchi, but would shy away from the pizza.

Nice back patio area, fun little cocktails with an Italian twist, pizzas are shareable.

If you're looking for an Italian pizzeria, you've found it! I came here with a few friends and had some wine and pizza! There was a bit of a wait but we just went and got a drink next door! Cornuto is a very cute, cozy place, and I would recommend it for any day of the week!

Perfect neighborhood gem in Phinney Ridge! Charming tree-lined streets, a fabulous summer patio, and the best Neapolitan pizza in town. The meatballs were tender and flavorful, and both pizzas were absolute perfection. Cozy, lively, and worth every bite!. Service was very friendly and helpful.

We had gotten there and there was a wait so we just got drinks and walked around for about a half an hour which is what they had expected for us to wait. The place was really nice and the service was really nice and friendly and just the vibes were cool. All the pizza was pretty good, maybe not the best I've had in Seattle but def very very good, the meatballs were good too. We saw they had mimosa cocktails on the menu but we wanted a bottle so they just got us a bottle of Prosecco and brought us some syrup on the side. Awesome spot!

Just came for our first time and accidentally ordered the wrong pizza (we meant to get the one with burrata) but were still impressed with the sausage salsiccia calzone (4/5 stars) and the bufallina DOC pizza (5/5 stars). The crusts were thicker than I expected and the marinara on the pizza was phenomenal. $58 for the pizza, calzone, and one $7 beer (before tax and tip).

Such a fun and intimate spot for the neighborhood. In the summer, the back patio is perfect for being outdoors. Great place to share pizzas or order your own dish. Went out with the girls and we had great wine selection and the gnocchi was filling and cooked to perfection. Kind and attentive service. Highly recommend!

Quattro Stagioni Pizze

Based on food alone, I almost want to give this place 1 star, but the service was good, so that's what saved it. When we got here, the restaurant was basically empty, so we got our pick on where to sit. One room was darker than the other. We chose to sit next to the pizza making area. The height of the booths makes it more private between different parties, but the aisle and next counter over are very close by, so it's kind of tight in the room with the main entrance. We ordered the Quattro Stagioni Pizze because I like having lots of different things on my pizza. Apparently, it was way too much because the top of every slice slid right off. I ended up having to eat with a fork most of the time. Something I've never had offered when eating pizza before was hot oil. I tried some, but it was too spicy for me personally. I can see how people who enjoy spice may enjoy having the hot oil handy. It just didn't help that my pizza was already falling apart with or without the oil. Also, the center and most of the pizza dough was soggy, so I feel like the pizza was a disaster as we dug more into it. On the outside before we started eating, it looked great.

buffalo moz and pesto pizzas with the gnocchi in gorgonzola sauce. so good!
Ashley K.

Yes, yes, yes, what a good time this was. They're busy and for good reason. Sitting outside only cost us the quick 5 mins for them to set up the table and get ready for us. Inside walk-up seating on a Friday night at dinner time was only a bit more of a wait, but I'll take outside just about any day on their three (3) patio/deck options. So nice. The host and our server were so great. Charming and attentive, thanks! We made quick decisions, and I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu. Caesar was amazing, and the anchovies almost had a sushi-level quality to them. Super briny and perfect. The buffalo moz classic was amazing. Juicy and bright with delicious cheese and basil. Perfect. The Pesto was also a winner, and I'm usually not a fan of what's usually too greasy pesto as a base. This wasn't the case. It was so flavorful and thick without being greasy. Great veggies. Scissors are cute and help the place stay unpretentious while they clearly care very deeply about serving you up the absolute fanciest pizza around. That crust was also absolutely perfect. Crunchy but chewy, full of flavor. And their wines! They know a good one. I love Barberas and split a half carafe with my date. Our server knew all the fast facts about the women-owned and operated vineyard. Nice! Do yourself a favor: order the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. This was without a doubt the showstopper, even for two pizza fiends, the pasta was the winner. Would have ordered another if we hadn't stayed so late already. The brulee on top... whew. Dreaming of that creamy pasta! For dessert, we'd been recommended to try the small (which is already large; large is larger) nutella calzone. The table next to us got it to go (pro tip) but we would have been waiting about 40mins for the oven at that point, so we passed for another time. Had the lemon sorbet instead and it was also delicious. A nice, light end to a happily carb-filled meal. Another pro tip: ask for the chili oil!! And use it liberally!!! We'll be back! Thanks for the great meal

The food was bland and the portions are small compared to the price. The service was remarkably slow and inefficient.

Four of us shared a mixed salad & kale salad, and a special pizza & yukon gold potato pizza. First of all, the salads were good contrasts. The mixed salad had a tart dressing, and the kale salad inc calabrian peppers and a creamy dressing. Both salads were very pleasing. Likewise, the special pizza was well thought out with the meat, cheese and sauce combo. Secondarily, the yukon pizza contained nice, fresh potatoes. Both pizzas had good chars from the wood fired oven. They only have two desserts, and I was surprised to see coconut cream pie that is made on site. The crust was nice and crumbly, and there was a ton of toasted coconut shavings. Despite being full, I could have eaten the whole slice of pie by myself. Regarding the ambiance, its chill here. We didn't need a res @ 6:30 pm on a Fri night. There is a full bar, and most of the patrons were locals. Lanti was a super nice waiter, and very knowledgable about the menu. He and his team were super friendly and on top of things. I look forward to staying at the Westin nearby again. Its walking distance fr SP, and it gives me an excuse to have good pizza and coconut pie again.

Karin has taken care of us countless times, whether it's a quiet Monday or an absolutely packed one due to the events at the town hall across the street, and they have always been warm, patient, and accommodating. I actually celebrated my birthday here because it's one of my favorite spots. I am part of the large group that one of the recent negative reviews is referring to. It happened immediately after the USA FIFA match, and the restaurant was the busiest I've ever seen it. Despite that, Karin still went out of their way to accommodate our requests that normally wouldn't be possible due to the rush, including trying to help with separate tabs when they'd already explained that large groups would likely need to stay on one check. As for things like grabbing water, silverware, plates, or chili flakes...our table had already gotten those before a majority of the group arrived. It's a casual pizzeria, on one of their busiest days ever. Setting and cleaning up the table (especially when seated outside) is not a problem for our group as we do it every week. Which is why it's upsetting that we opened our spot to someone that left such a nasty review. What stood out to me wasn't poor service. It's that despite how overwhelming it must have been to work post-FIFA, Karin was able to take orders, bartend, serve food, and close out checks with professionalism. Sometimes no matter how much effort someone puts in, not everyone leaves happy. The pizza is fantastic! I love showing up every week and trying what new slice they have come up with (in the year that I've been coming here there legit hasn't been a repeat). The atmosphere is great and the staff, especially Karin, have earned our loyalty over the past year. We'll absolutely continue coming back.

I was actually at the table where Paula came and sat and will say that the majority of our table were provided exceptional service, so it was a shock to read that other review of the same experience. The crust has that perfect balance of chewy and crisp, and the toppings are generous without turning the slice into a mess. You can tell they actually care about what goes out of the kitchen. I came in curious and left already planning my next visit. If you're a pizza person, this place belongs on your list - and if you like a little kick, the Jalapeño Face is the one to get.

A slice is literally too long to eat with your hands. You need to eat the first part with a fork and knife before it's even holdable. I have had bigger slices before - but never a full, non-takeout, pizza this big. It's 20 inches in diameter. We had two pizzas - where each one was split into two different kinds of pizza - so four in total. Cool that they allow you to do that, but it does cost more than having just a singular pizza all of the same type. The slices were double cut to make sharing easier. The only one that I liked was the jalapeno face pizza, which managed to achieve a facsimile of a jalapeno popper pretty well. The cream cheese here really stood out; it's not something you see on pizza very often at all, but it really worked here. The pineapple was also awesome. It was missing some heat from the jalapenos though - there could've been a lot more of them. This one was the only pizza that was actually cooked to a good level on the underside, and held its shape pretty well. It had some firmness when biting into it. Unfortunately, the other three half-pizzas were undercooked and floppy. The underside was practically a light brown rather than the dark brown / bordering on black you need to see for this style. If the attempt here is NY-style pizza, it's just a pathetic excuse for the most part. The weight of the toppings just collapsing in the dough is not what you want to see. The indian-style pizza just didn't work - mint chutney, onions, and bell peppers just tastes odd on a pizza. With the truffle pizza, the amount of potatoes was just way too excessive, and there was very little actual truffle flavor. The red sauce pizza didn't have anything wrong with the toppings, but again suffered from the lack of charring I mentioned earlier. You do get a lot of food for the pizzas. I'd say for 5 people - one full pizza and one half pizza should be enough - around 25 per person or so. At least the price is reasonable. Overall, the novelty of the size and odd flavors is cool in theory, but the quality is simply not there. 6/10

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun.
