The best salads in Eugene. Portions are HUGE. Great menu variety. Everything from homemade Chicken Pot Pies, to delicious burgers, homemade soup, and Nachos. Great beer selection on tap. Happy hour, they play a game that gives you a chance to spin to win a prize. The last time I was in, I won a gift card for onion rings. MMMMMM.... read more

Good Food, Extremely bad service My wife, our two sons and I thought this would be a great place to sit outside on a recent sunny day. Our food was really good. We each had a burger and they were great. Fries were good also. However, we will not be returning to this restaurant for one reason - our service was horrible. It started on a bad note when the waitress (I asked, and she said her name was Laurel) acted put out when we asked if we could sit at the only open table outside, which had not been wiped off. She left us standing for several minutes until she returned, wiped the table, and turned and went back inside without a word. She returned several minutes later to take our orders. When she brought our order I asked for another beer, which she never brought. She never returned even one time to ask if the food was okay or if we needed anything. We waited so long for our bill that I finally went inside to get it. Poor service is too bad because the food here is very good. read more

I'd say this place is o.k. The burgers are good and so far that's what I've decided I will go there for. I have found I have had to wait a long time for food there. And with kids that's not fun. Its not cheap. Beer selection is good. IMHO the salads are pretty bland. Wish they would use the salad greens mix at most places. It's a burger joint. Its a little loud. The wait staff is hit or miss. There is one woman who is a character and might be a little over the top for some yet she makes sure you are taken care of... where as some of the staff seem over worked and under paid....meaning they don't seem like they care too much. I like the burgers well enough but so far, not much else. We'll be back for sure. Just hoping they can work on employee morale some! read more

First off I made a Yelp account just for this review. That being said I've given this spot two chances with the same order. Each time I've gotten a bacon cheese burger because I'm told their burgers are amazing. Both times i ordered a medium rare burger. Both of these times my burger was cooked well done and tasted absolutely bland and generic. The taste is what you'd expect from a $5 burger, except for here I paid $14+ and was severely disappointed both times. The fries are the same generic fries you can buy In a bag at a grocery store. It's only quality is its heavy drinks which I think are what fools people into thinking their burgers are good. I honestly won't come back again. I highly recommend McMenamin's in Eugene or falling sky brewery. They at least are worth the pricing. Save your time and money unless you're only drinking at the bar. read more

This place used to be great. Now it is $15 for a salad and the service is slow and weak. Their turkey sandwiches are dark meat and greasy, served with a side of cold, hard tots. Outrageously expensive and not worth it at all. read more

The burgers are excellent and the atmosphere is very comfortable. This place is casual but the food is top quality. The service is very friendly too. It's a perfect place to meet up with friends for a relaxed evening. read more

We recently went to diner at the new cornucopia for this first time. We were super happy with the food and had some some great drinks too! We went around 9pm so there was a small wait, but the bartender was nice enough to make us drinks while we waited. Once we ate we were planning to leave, but as we got the check they informed us that a band was about to start. This place is a small space and we were both wondering how a band would work out... turns out it was great! they move the tables and make a small dance floor and the place was packed! We had a great time and will definitely be back! read more

First time at Cornucopia and it did not disappoint. Paul was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. The burgers were AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this place to everyone! read more

YOU BROKE MY HEART! I was told years ago that you only season your burgers with salt & pepper. Noticed I didn't feel too great after the last few burgers I've eaten there so I asked again about your seasonings & was told you put wheat in your burgers.... I can eat grain fed beef & tolerate it but NOT direct contact with wheat. Was also told (for the first time) that your fries contain wheat as well. LAME! I ordered a chicken breast that turned out to be so tiny I felt SORRY for the poor chicken who gave his or her life for that CRAPPY meal :( I went home and had lunch! I left your restaurant pissed off & hungry. Probably won't be back. I have been eating at your restaurant for YEARS.... I'd say quality control is in the toilet! I won't be back since I can't trust the information I receive about how you season things & I think wheat based seasoning is SERIOUSLY WEAK. I used to LOVE eating at both locations. Didn't even mind that it takes FOREVER to get food..... You brag about your great quality meat & then WRECK it! SO LAME! :( read more

I used to be a regular @ the 17th street location, despite the awful service there, simply because the food is amazing. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier about the new location. The service is WAY better (the last 3 times we've been in we've had the same waitress, Sara. She's sweet, attentive and really pretty and we love the she remembers us every time.). The menu may be smaller, but all the best stuff is on it. The atmosphere is way more fun, and best of all--there's a full bar. If you had a bad experience at the other Cornucopia, try the new one. You won't be disappointed. read more

The best burgers I've ever had in Eugene. The service is a little bit slow, but it's defiantly worth it.

What can I say? I love this place! Their burger and brew special is fantastic. Maybe one of the best burgers in town, and fries to die for!! read more

Had a great dinner at Cornucopia last night. Food was delicious and Travis our server was delightful

I was really disappointed how rude the wait staff was. I was trying to get a table with my four year old son and a waitress and host brushed us off. We stood around after I tried to ask the waitress and she said "ask the guy he's the one that knows" after he had already walked away when I tried to see if we could put our names down. read more

If there was a 0 star rating I would give it 0 stars. my poor wife today just wanted a good burger for lunch and she decided to go to cornucopia cuz she saw on their website that they were gluten friendly so she went there and immediately was told that the burgers had bread crumbs in them so then they gave her the tiny menu for gluten free and it listed rice bowls and salads now most people who are gluten free can't have rice because it affects the stomach as well so she went with the salad she asked for ranch dressing but their ranch sauce has gluten in it as well so she was stuck with Thousand Island dressing what she does not like upon receiving her salad it had croutons on it in which case she can't have croutons because it's bread and when she informed the male bartender who she can't remember his name he told her that she should have reminded him in which case my wife started to cry.so she is sitting at this restaurant crying because they're crappy bartender couldn't do his job even though he was having a conversation about her being gluten free it was on her to remind him that she can't have croutons on her salad and for a place that list on their website that they are gluten-free friendly they sure are not. oh and my wife is also visibly pregnant which makes his customer service all the more horrible this restaurant is garbage. Furthermore not once did he apologize or make any reference to her visibly upset emotions. a complete lack of hospitality or care from a restaurant staff member read more

myself and a dear friend went to 5th street to enjoy a meal. we sat outside. it was a lovely day. Our waiter "Steven" was abrupt and sharp toned. when we told him our ice tea was sour tasting he took it back and threw it in the bus tub. he brought us new glasses saying "this is right from the source" I took a sip and it was still the same. My lady friend said "I don't think I will try mine" Steven said "Well lady nobody is twisting your arm" If it was for the nice young woman who came up behind him with our food we would have left. The food was good but the snotty attitude of the server makes me not want to go back P.S brew your ice tea daily and it will solve the cloudy sour problem read more

good live music but awkward floor plan to sit and listen to it. the food is good but the service is non existent. had dinner with friends there and not a single person ever came to take our order ( i had to tell our order to the only bartender who i had to wait for for 15 min because they were MIA at 8:30pm on a saturday) read more

My favorite place to go for lunch and an after work cocktail. Great food, vibe, and location. Best Chicken Philly Cheese in town; chicken, bacon, onions and jalapenos smothered in cheese with all star selection of beers on tap! When you go make sure Stephen Armstrong makes you a margarita, he is my favorite bartender. read more

Called in for delivery. The person on the phone said he was the manager and was rude and kept cutting me off when I was trying to order. Got the food almost two and a half hours later and my tater tots were burnt and my burger was cold and was in different pieces in the box? Horrible experience. Not worth the money I paid. read more

I am new to the area and I know there are hundreds of places to try out. I recently turned 21 and I was looking for a place that had a nice bar menu, a cool atmosphere and that also had some reasonably priced delicious food, to go to celebrate turning 21 with my friends. Cornucopia was just that! In my search I think I just googled good restaurants in Eugene and this one came up, and not knowing if it was any good, it was soo helpful that they had their menu posted online, it was instrumental in my choosing this place. The bar was cool and I ordered a Long Island ice tea and they do it well here. The food was good when it came out, my friends all enjoyed their meals. My only tiny complaint is that on my blue cheese burger it said it comes with avocado, so I'm thinking slices but it was more of a guacamole type deal which I don't care for and would have not ordered it had I known but hey that's how you learn!! Like I said small issue and they even gave me a birthday cake shot so that made up for it for sure!! I recommend this for any dinner party you have planned! read more

I ordered the BLT... It was perfect. Probably the best BLT I've had. I can't speak for the burgers but their fries were amazing. I didn't think they needed any extra salt or sauces. It was a little spendy for the amount of food, but it was still really good food. read more

Is it 5 star gourmet? No. But it is awesome bar food, and that makes me just as happy. I mean, they have Good Frickin' Chicken Tenders on the menu. That is really all you need to know. Although their burgers are a little much for me, they are everything a burger should be and we have always had great service. One of our go to places for a tasty, laid back meal. read more

This is one if my favorite places to go in Eugene. Both locations have wonderful food and atmosphere.

The plusses and minuses average out well enough that I keep going back, but I know better than to expect an excellent experience. The food is really great, but generally the service is way sub-par. I know it's not a good bet if I'm in any kind of time crunch, as they often run on their own time schedule. But if I have lots of time and generosity of spirit and want a good burger, I'll definitely go there. read more

This place is best suited for the college crowd, they have karaoke and trivia nights. It is very loud, the seating is not the most comfortable. Their specials are fair at best, the food is not bad, but very inconsistent. The prices are fair, service is hit and miss. I much prefer the one located on 17th, much better everything including the selection of beer. read more

Ordered food from here for the first time today. The burger I ordered advertised that it came with mayo. Unfortunately there was no mayo or any kind of sauce. Disappointing paying $16 for a dry burger. read more

Been here a few times. Decided to come in and bring a friend for dinner. We arrive and sit down on a friday night. After sitting for 40 minutes without even being asked what we wanted to drink, I look over to another section where a person who sat down 15 or so minutes after I arrived is already getting their food. So my guest approaches the bar and asks if we can get service. About 10 minutes later a visibly annoyed woman with shaved sides on her hair approaches the table visibly annoyed and addresses us with a rude tone "what's up?!". I then order my food and an ice tea. After I drank the ice tea. I never once got a refill, I was never given a water, and when the good came out 20 minutes later this very rude woman drops off the food and just says "you good?!". I get my check and for the first time in my entire life I left a tip less than 20%. I tipped her about 5% and left a note saying " 1/10 service" to let her know how poorly it was. I will never come back to this location even though the food is great. I will drive across town to the other location where the service is much better. read more

A good eat unless you get one of the underwhelming servers who can't manage to get your order right after three tries

New jacked up prices and elimination of daily deals (new inflated price of deals makes then "not a deal") has made Cornucopia a tough pill to swallow. Too bad. Burgers are still great, but more than $10 for a sandwich is outrageous. Dropped much much lower on my list of places to visit and this used to be a favorite. read more

The food is awesome. Everything tastes good. But, if you want to eat when you are hungry, don't go here. Go here about an hour before you are hungry and you'll be fine. The sign says please wait to be seated, but they won't seat you for a good ten minutes. You won't get water for another ten minutes. Some eventually comes to take your drink order. Forty five minutes in, you might get your beers and then your food comes a while after that. This has been my partner and I's consistent experience. It's annoying! But, the food is awesome and we come back every so often. They still forget about us. read more

First time was amazing, but just hasn't been as good the last few months. Burgers have no flavor, the special philly was an undersized disappointment. read more

I rarely eat burgers out, but when I saw that Cornucopia was voted 'best burger' in Eugene, I decided to go and try one. It was awful. Low quality meat served on a doughy white bun (not toasted) with shredded iceberg lettuce, a mealy tomato and pickles served with what looked like Ore Ida frozen fries. I asked the server if their fries were homemade, and was told they were. The burgers are not expensive, priced at $10.75. It was on par with Burger King. I would rather pay twice that much for a good burger. read more

Congratulation to Cornucopia for giving me the worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. I went here on several occasions and enjoyed the food that they serve. Unfortunately on my last visit, I was confronted by a waitress who told me I was a bad tipper and that I should tell my friends to tip better.... I tipped her 20% that day. I can understand her frustration, but to call me out in front of all of the surrounding customers is not right and reflects poor business practices. I will not be going back, and suggest potential customers to be aware of poor customer service. read more

Food is average and the service is terrible! I was there the other night, sat down and waited 10 minutes - they seated a guy next to me, took his order right away and walked past my table. 2nd time this has happened. The wait staff needs an upgrade read more

fun atmosphere! the service is quick, food is good, and the price is right. the fries and onion rings are delicious!!

First time diner. I tried the Vegan burger " JB's" with avocado and the rest of the toppings. It was pretty decent. I'm a carnivore on a diet so I was hoping this would be good and save me some guilt. Also had the sweet potato fries. Service was good , very earthy clientele but friendly efficient staff. Even a guy in a kilt and it wasn't even close to St Patty's!! Then he put on his bike helmet and backpack and rode off into the cold rainy night. Brrrrr read more

Outstanding food at both locations, but you'll have a shorter wait at 5th street. I recommend the Baby Bleu.

Ahi tuna sandwich was great but the pizza, though the crust was good, was not made by people who know pizza. Slabs of meat, swirl of pesto, cold, halved cherry tomatoes. No finesse. Biggest disappointment was the chicken pot pie. 3 tiny pieces of chicken. The server was okay, place a little dumpy...stick with the burger if you go here. read more

great cheese steak and drinks! ladies night Thursday 1/2 off all drinks!!

A great meal and a beautiful afternoon out on the sidewalk. Everyone in my party had great burgers of one sort or another. I had the blue cheese burger, which was outstanding, with onion rings. Also had one of their awesome margaritas, which was so good it was hard to say no to a second one. A server dropped something near our table and it splashed on one of the people at my table. They were SO apologetic - and even comp'ed us our drinks to make up for it. I loved the environment, the service was very good and I had an awesome burger. read more
