First time ever eating at Corner Bakery. Stopped in for lunch with a friend. Clean and not crowed so we were able to order almost immediately. Food was brought to the table with little wait time. Had the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 soup combination and since it was a colder day, tried their tomato Italian soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Tomato soup is broth based; ok but not really to my liking. Flavor on the mild to bland side. But the grilled cheese with tomato was fabulous! Perfectly toasted grain bread with melted cheesy goodness - delicious. With tip, meal cost was just over $16 which seemed a bit steep but in keeping with most places currently.

We ordered the Rustic Italian Panini with a side salad to split.

Love the vibe here and the menu. I can always find something tasty to eat here. The cashier was very helpful and friendly.

Corner Bakery is a great cafe option for brunch, and soup, sandwich and salad options for lunch and dinner. Similar to Kneader's, it's line up and order, with a delicious bakery to grab some sweets. Only fresh ingredients used on the whole menu. Soup menu changes often. Simple pancakes and eggs breakfast hits the spot every time. Pro tip: use their app for free stuff, and to order ahead to skip the wait.

Great service and the tuna melt was really good but the potato tasted like they were mad the day before and avocado looks old and spoiled but the experience was good

I had pretty high expectations for this place after hearing from friends and family. We found a buy one get one free coupon and I decided I'd finally try it. I ordered the linguine and meatballs and the pesto chicken. The orders took a bit longer than expected to come out but perhaps they were just short staffed. As far as the food, I took a bite of the garlic bread and tasted no flavor. The two bowls were a pretty good size considering the price; and although there were only two meatballs in the linguine,it seemed sufficient due to the size. The linguini had a very light tasting marinara but the sauce seemed very watery to me. The pesto chicken had lots of pasta but it seemed that it was lacking a bit of chicken. The pesto sauce was also so light that it seemed that the dish was almost lacking in flavor. Overall, the food is affordable but I wouldn't have wanted to pay full price for the taste. If I had a coupon, I'd come in again.

The wait for dinner was relatively longer than I expected, however there were many tables available so there was no issue with seating. The menu also has various selections of healthy options. I ordered the pesto chicken and linguini meatballs, and both dishes came with a piece of garlic bread. The presentation wasn't the absolute best, and the garlic bread was not salty enough. The pesto chicken sauce I ordered was also quite light. However, the meat was very tender! I would say that this place is worth it for the price paid.

Enviornment - 1 (so quiet you can hear everyone eat) Food - 4 Customer service - 5 The food is great. Its so quiet I would rather not eat here. I will order to go from now on. Probably why it was empty inside. Great food I hd soup and cavatappi pasta.

Farmer scramble and the Anaheim scramble (back). The Anaheim has a lot more flavor.

One of the things I like about corner bakery cafe is that I don't feel like I've eaten a pot of grease after eating here. The food I've had is fresh and sits well. And most of it seems pretty on point. Service has always been great each time I've been. My very first visit, I ordered fresh fruit and mentioned something about not liking cantaloupe but that I would get it anyway. When they brought it out, the person had made sure there was no cantaloupe in there. That's service! Atmosphere is also nice and clean. Once again, you don't feel like you're sitting in grease. Well done CBC.

When we arrived and sat down, we were greeted by Joe telling us that "House rules, you're not allowed to order the same item". Lol. Love that guy! We both ordered Denver omelets, one without onions, extra mushrooms, French toast, and grits and one without mushrooms, hash browns, and pancakes. First off, the pancakes were amazing! They're light, had crispy edges, and had a wonderful flavor. But the best thing was it was in the shape of little donuts, which was a nice surprise. Our entrees came but were somehow got switched. We didn't realize it at first but both were still good. Unfortunately, my wife put Chalula on hers and I put Tobasco on mine and we don't like each other's choice of condiments. The other unfortunate thing was that I had an eggshell in my omelet. Even though we had these misfortunes you can't hide the flavor of these dishes and they certainly don't skimp on toppings. My grits were too sweet today. If it's too sweet for me, it must've been really sweet. The only other criticism I saw was that they were filling the syrup bottles from large Log Cabin jugs. They also were using Idahoan shredded potatoes from a large carton. I can understand the potatoes but how great would it be to have freshly made syrup. Still a great experience and they are still one of the best breakfast places on the state.

This warm, friendly welcome set the tone for the whole experience. Joe stopped by and told us the "rules". Everyone orders something different and we all share. My husband got the eggs & diced ham with a side of biscuits and gravy. My son got the French Dip because you can order breakfast or lunch at 10 am. Everyone ate a good portion if not all of their food. It was good. We will definitely be back. For the food but more for the service!

Everything we ordered was fantastic, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Here is a quick breakdown of what we tried: Black Sesame Latte & Matcha Ube Latte: Both iced lattes were so delicious and, best of all, not overly sweet. A huge bonus for us was that they were able to make both with oat milk! Bungeoppang: These were warm, crispy on the outside, and incredibly tasty. Yuzu Cheesecake: This was by far the favorite of the visit. It was light, refreshing, and honestly probably one of the top five cheesecakes I've ever had in my life. Beyond the incredible menu, the ambiance and service are top-tier. The interior decor is incredibly cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax. On top of that, the mother/daughter owners were so sweet and knowledgeable about their offerings, making us feel right at home. If you're craving authentic, high-quality Korean drinks and pastries, The Tea Barn is an absolute must-visit!

There was no wait to be seated, which was a great start, and we were looking forward to a relaxing breakfast together. Unfortunately, the experience steadily declined from there. After being seated, it took several minutes before anyone came to our table. When our server arrived, she offered coffee, which we accepted, but we were never offered water. I noticed that nearly every other table around us received both coffee and water automatically, so that stood out. When our food arrived, my eggs were significantly overcooked and had to be remade. While mistakes happen and I certainly understand that, it added additional wait time to the meal. Throughout breakfast, service felt very inattentive. We had to request extra napkins, ask for coffee and water refills ourselves, and rarely saw our server check on the table. One thing that really surprised us was that she brought our check while we were still eating. I've dined at many restaurants, including First Watch, and it's unusual to receive the bill halfway through the meal rather than after you're finished. After Bill was placed on the table, we didn't see our server again. The final disappointment came after we had finished eating. We stayed for a few minutes talking, and when we were ready to leave with our leftovers, we waited approximately 20 minutes without seeing our server. I finally had to find another waitress just to get a takeout box. Individually, none of these issues would have been a major concern. However, when you combine them all together, it resulted in a disappointing overall experience from beginning to end. I realize our server may have been new, and I truly don't enjoy criticizing someone who is learning. My intent isn't to get anyone in trouble. Rather, I wanted management to understand why what should have been an enjoyable breakfast with my daughter turned into an experience that left us questioning whether we'll return.
