Although the food was perfectly fine (albeit overpriced for the quality), the staff was inattentive at best. We dined on a quiet Monday evening, with a mostly empty restaurant. Despite this, the wait time was long, the server forgot to bring sides that we requested, and the vibe was overall indifferent with the exception of our buser, Vera who picked up all of the slack and then some, of our waitress. They also tack on a 2% fee to help cover the cost of the minimum wage increase for restaurant workers so that they can provide "excellent service" which is laughable considering the service was subpar at best (in-n-out, for instance, has far better customer service...and their burgers are better too). All in all, there are far better dining options elsewhere in Temecula. read more

My girlfriend and I were served by Tammy and prior to dinner we had a couple of drinks prior to dinner. The decor of the restaurant is exquisite and very lively. The bartenders were very prompt and once seated the service was impeccable. I immediately liked the movable padded bench seats because I'm a little challenged in the gut area and I detest tight areas in my position. All the servers were exceptionally attentive and Tammy was especially helpful in selecting the right Chardonnay for our dinner. We had a shared dinner with appetizers including a very tasty wedge salad, a combination pork meatball dish, deviled eggs, and I had Jidori chicken and my girlfriend had the Sea Bass. We finished with a cheese board and Fonseca port. Overall it was one of our best dining experiences. It was by no means inexpensive but nothing great comes cheaply. The manager checked in on us numerous times and we appreciated that. A must when in Temecula. read more

My husband and I just dined here with my parents for dinner last night and breakfast today. What an amazing experience!! Between us we tried the scallops, braised beef, and shrimp carbonara for dinner with cheesecake for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection. Breakfast was so full of flavor between the avocado toast, crab Benedict, pork belly Benedict, lox and bagel crisps and the corned beef hash there was not a complaint among us! They also bring a plate of biscuits with blueberry butter and strawberry jam which was a pleasant surprise and it added some sweetness to our savory morning dishes. Andrew and Chance were so knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the dishes so we were all sure to order the right thing! We will all definitely be back! read more

Amazing place for brunch if you're ever in the Temecula area! The view is gorgeous and the food is yummy! We had the avocado toast, chorizo frittata, and the chicken and waffles. DEFINITELY get the avocado toast. The heirloom tomatoes on it are delicious! To finish it off, we had their vanilla creme brûlée. Overall the food, ambiance, and the service was all amazing! Would definitely recommend taking a visit here. read more

OMG, I guess the name change came thru...we were there on 12/23 for dinner and it was still the Farmhouse. Lovely surprise for a restaurant at the Inn, where we stayed. Great ambiance, but service was spotty. We visited w/another family that had 2 young boys, so great for a family setting. Hubby had he porter house, which he loved and even enjoyed the quinoa salad (which is amazing because he's never enjoyed it before). Daughter wasn't very hungry, ordered the deviled eggs - said they were ok and had the Chicken Noodle Soup - didn't finish it. I had the Gold & Red beet salad, which was great because the beets did not have that strong earthy taste and had the Slow Braised Shortribs, but should have been just called shortRIB - only 1 piece, but it was flavorful and tender, but only ONE, approximately 2" in length, 1.5" in height - yes, I was hungry afterwards. The server gave us an apple tartlet(?) but the apples were great, not soggy. Came back the next morning and it was nice to see the golf course, but the personality of the servers were dry. Just had the basics, of eggs, bacon, etc...all ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Daughter had the yogurt parfait and it was ok too. View was the winner. read more

We were seated about 20 minutes past our reservation, and would have happily enjoyed cocktails at the bar while we waited, but the bar was full of plates and napkins that weren't cleared until right before we were sat. When we were seated, the hostess forgot to bring us menus, and our server finally had to get us some. I ordered a side of Country Potato Hash which is described ad "red bliss potatoes, peppers, onions, and country spices." I received Tater Tots that looked like they'd come out of a freezer. Overall this was a highly disappointing experience. Beautiful location. Delicious bacon and biscuits. But not worth the hassle. read more

Although this listing says "vegan options" I was lacking to really find any available on the breakfast menu - with the exception of avocado toast, of course. That said, they do not offer soy or almond or any non-dairy milk options which makes me question what is the base liquid for their açaí bowls (also on the app menu for breakfast). Didn't get the chance to try this though because the "machine is broken" (hmmm, okay). Also, I should add the bartender was very inconsistent with the drinks and drink pours. We happened to sit next to the bar and watched many mimosas go out with large pours, small pours, lots of OJ, not a lot of OJ. As for the food that was ordered: house waffle, churro waffle, biscuit sliders, lox bagel and fruit bowl it was all okay but nothing I, or my table mates would rush back for. I also might add my "fruit bowl" was actually a bowl of berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries) and came with a hefty price tag of $8... $8 for mixed berries. What a scam! And no fruit??? The churro waffle, while was tasty, was overly sweet. Wouldn't recommend. The regular waffle was better. Lox bagel was pretty skimpy. The biscuits they bring to the table are tasty with the homemade jam. Cute ambiance overlooking the golf course is the only reason I'd go back. Hopefully the açaí machine is working by then. Absolutely terrible service. After finishing eating, we ordered some additional food to go as we had to go Get ready for a wedding on site. We had the food boxed up ready to go at our table, we got the bill we were overcharged on our bill. The waitress took it to adjust for us....and never came back. We Literally sat there for 30+ minutes ready to pay and leave and our waitress was no where to be found. Finally we had to get up and get the hostess to ask if we can pay and leave. She got the manager who brought our bill. The manager came over and didn't know who was serving us but also wouldn't adjust our bill, apparently because the waitress was no where to ask what happened. The manager didn't even apologize for the over charge OR the extra wait. She had no idea where our waitress was but that she would "follow up with them". But still charged us. So we were overcharged and left with cold food. Horrible horrible service that could have easily been remedied with an apology at the very least. read more

This place is very different. The view is very pretty and the lobby was also very pretty. I believe I ordered the pork belly Benedict, first time trying pork belly and it was alright. Nothing amazing. But from the looks of my loved ones plate, everything looked pretty yummy. I'm interested in going back to try something else on their brunch menu. The staff was lovely !! All smiles, even though we were a large party (mother in law's birthday) and had 4 children with us 2-11. I appreciated them serving the young ones first as well. We spent several hours on a hot afternoon between soccer games here with a a big group of us. It was a pretty limited menu with just brunch until 3 pm on Sunday then bar menu till 5 then to the dinner menu but they were somewhat accommodating and everything was good. The bar was nice and cool; the dining room was a little warmer but it's a great room with a view. It looked like mostly members were eating after golf but not too crowded and Dottie took real good care of us even though we had one difficult member in our group. The manager even swung by to make sure everything was cool. We'll probably continue trying new places in the area next time we've got some time to kill but glad we checked this out. read more

This is a tucked away place with lovely grounds and a comfortable, pretty dining area. The bar is attractive too! We had been here before and enjoyed it but forgot about it. We went for our anniversary and could not have been happier. We ordered the cheese plate to start and it was amazing! My husband had the fish and chips which he really enjoyed. I had the chilean sea bass and it was delicious. Because it was our anniversary, we were presented with a dessert with a brownie and a scoop of salted caramel ice cream on top. My husband said it was one of the best desserts he has ever had. I completely recommend this place and will be back! read more

The food was very good...lots of creative and imaginative dishes. They seem to have enough staff running around, but there are too few real waitstaff and some of the runners are just clueless. We had a lunch reservation which was honored on time and initially everything went well and then the service simply evaporated! Came in on a Friday night for dinner. We had made reservations, but when I showed up I was rather embarrassed as there were not a lot of people here. It took up to 10 minutes to be greeted and seated - which was odd. The two bartenders watching TV told us to hold on. We were seated ordered to Deviled Eggs (very good) and the Shrimp and Grits (fantastic). Overall I was satisfied with the food and the wait staff. When we initially used yelp to find this place, my expectations were high considering the 4 star reviews. After our visit I would say that this place is overrated. I expected to have the 4 star service and quality food. Not the case. We came in a Sunday afternoon to find out they don't serve brunch and have not for over a year. We stayed to have a bite anyway. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was plain. My fiancée ordered a Stone Ale which took them 20 minutes to bring to the table. Our nachos came out another 20 min later and didn't have the beans and pulled pork on it. Instead a waitress came out of the kitchen with a plate of it to our table and said that they had brought it out too early. Really? My family and I were staying at Temecula Creek Inn for my wedding. We had a party of 5 that was there a night early so I made us a reservation. I originally made the reservation for 4 people on 10/19 for the 29th of October. 10 days prior. I called the day of to add one more person to our party because I realized I only made it for 4. When I called they said no problem and they could accommodate us. I received a call back saying they could accommodate us, but they would have to sit us out front in the make-shift seating as all the better seats with the views were booked. I just agreed. We showed up got seated, waited for 15 minutes and decided to leave because no one ever came to wait us. As we were leaving a let the hostess know we were leaving and all she said was "oh". We ended up driving to old town Temecula and having dinner down there. It wasn't a fun way to kick off our wedding weekend and I will not support them in the future. I have eaten here twice with my fiancé for brunch when we were selecting our venue and the food was good. But it was a really crappy feeling to just be forgotten about. I don't feel that adding one person should have made such a difference when the reservation was made 10 whole days ahead read more

We came on a Saturday for lunch, it was crowded but we got right in. Ainsley, the hostess was so sweet and accomodating. Our server Priscilla was fantastic! The view is beautiful and can be seen from almost every table. The calamari was cooked perfect, the nachos are huge and the rueben melted in our mouths. Upon walking in, my first impression was that the hostess didn't even look up. Only my sister and I were in the lobby. There was zero acknowledgement from the hostess that we were waiting. She was doing something on an iPad. Not overly friendly when she finally greeted us. Then our server disappeared for a long time because apparently the coffee maker broke and she had to go get coffee from another building. It seems like a manager could have done this instead of a server who is busy with tables. I ordered the vegan cavatelli pasta and it had absolutely no taste. It was the blandest meal I've had in a restaurant, period. Almost to the point of wanting to ask if the kitchen forgot to include an ingredient or two. I've had far better pasta at the Olive Garden, and that's saying something. The only reason I'm giving more than 1 star is because I did request a window booth when I made the reservation, and that wish was granted. I also LOVED that you can fill out the gratuity in private, rather than these restaurants that make you select an amount from the device in the server's hands, which is so awkward. This place is magnificent! First, the place is set on a stunning 18 hole golf course with a creek running through it. Homemade biscuits are served complimentary with your breakfast. A local makes them daily and refuses the recipe. LOVE! The breakfast menu offers fresh local ingredients. They offer substitutes like, almond milk, for those who cannot have dairy. HUGE PLUS! The entire staff is warm, welcoming and very friendly. I would recommend this place if your visiting Temecula. Yes, I love old town, but this is a nice little hideaway. read more

Their hours of operation are great for me because I'm an early riser, and their menu is great for both breakfast lovers and for people like me that enjoys lunch for breakfast. We stay at the Temecula Creek inn and love the brief walk to the Cork Fire. The ambiance is the best!! Golf course views, western theme but upscale Western. The greatest bar that is roomy , feels so friendly and lovely at the same time. Outside patio is fabulous also with a real deal fireplace. Ask for Amanda as your server and you can't go wrong. She is lovely, attentive, fun, efficient and made our evening dining a treat. She is terrific. See you Temecula Creek in ..in August and hold a table for us Amanda!! :) See you then. read more

We have eaten here several times but always sat outside during the summer. Our experience when sitting outside was always great. We invited the entire family for a birthday dinner for my wife in February and the experience was miserable! Service was fine, but between them keeping the huge garage dOor open to the outside when it was 55 degrees and the incredible loudness of the restaurant it was a terrible experience. It was so loud that we couldn't hear our party who were just 2 feet away. If you're spending 50-100 for a dinner then maybe that's what you expect, but spending $500 plus for dinner we'll never come back. Very disappointed read more

I have mixed reviews for this place... I called and made a reservation for a Sunday morning and specifically asked for a window seat. When we arrived we were greeted by a very annoyed hostess who was not nice or kind to us. Then we didn't sit down at our seat for 20 minutes after the reservation time. At first I thought it was because I requested a window seat, but once we were seated we still were not at a window seat which was irritating because we waited additional time past the reservation. Once we were seated we waited TEN minutes before someone came to greet us. Although the beginning of our dining experience was terrible, our waitress Dottie truly saved the day!! She was super attentive, gave us extra biscuits, and was so kind. If it weren't for her we would have probably left. All in all- the food was delicious and Dottie was a rockstar. I would come back, but can't give it a 5/5 because the first 30 minutes of our time there was terrible. read more

I called the place to try to make a reservation for 14 people...No one answered me for the first THREE TIMES I CALLED.. And when someone finally did answer the phone.. They weren't that welcoming... They didn't seem to care about their customers at all... She told me that after a party of 11 we would get a limited menu because the kitchen wouldn't be able to keep up.. I'M SORRY!? How do you not plan for business on A SUNDAY FOR BRUNCH!? I asked to speak to a manager.. She transferred me but the phone kept ringing.. I was waiting for about 3 minutes and no one answered. So I called back to get a a manager but I HAD TO CALL 7 MORE TIMES in order to talk to someone. I told them not to put me on hold and I wanted to talk to a manager now.. Finally after a 5 minute wait Lauren Ann gets on the phone the manager of the establishment and explains to me their policy.. I said I don't understand how 3 plates makes a difference for the kitchen.. If you guys are already accepting the 11 people.. 14 people shouldn't be that big of a difference.. I was calling with more than enough time for them to adjust themselves and make sure they are able to be equipped. I informed the manager that I am the GM to a beautiful place in LA and I WOULD NEVER turn a party of 14 away because of a policy... If that was my employee I would of gotten her in serous trouble for turning away a table that was going to bring me 500 plus dollars.. And trust me I get it.. They probably have a bunch of business and my reservation didn't mean much to them but they didn't need to make me feel they didn't care, I mean come on at least try to act like you care and sympathize. I would never eat at this place because of the lack of empathy and how little care they have for their customers.. You can tell this management team sees their customers as nothing.. What a disappointment.. I didn't even get the chance to try their food, what a sad phone experience, save yourself the headache with their crap service and go somewhere else. This place is truly a hidden gem in Temecula. It's by far one of the nicest restaurants in the city and the food is just as spectacular as the views through the cascading windows overlooking the golf course. Follow the chef on instagram, @chefmsteffen, to see their plating! That's where I first saw any type of info about Cork Fire. He was so sweet and reached out to me personally to thank me for liking his page and photos. It definitely gave that personal touch that made me want to go into the restaurant even more. We came here with our family for brunch. It was amazing! Tammy was our server who was cheerful and so helpful in choosing our selections being this was our first time. They brought us warm homemade biscuits on a beautiful wood platter accompanied with amazing blueberry butter and marmalade. The kids churro waffle was a huge hit! We had the California Omelet and the Rib Benny. Both were great! Tammy was so delightful, the food was delicious and the view from the patio was great!! read more

The grounds and views are beautiful, the food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Our waitress was very nice but staffing may have been lacking because service was very slow. We got the octopus appetizer and it was very sad: what looked like one octopus tentacle cut up into 5 pieces and some little potatoes, all slathered in apple sauce for $18, blech. My husband ordered the $60 steak medium rare and when it came it was extremely rare, bordering on raw and he had to send it back. They fixed the steak and it was good but not anything mind blowing. I got the duck and it was fine, but again underwhelming. Our 2 year old wanted some extra fries and we told a waitress that wasn't our but asked us if we needed anything, she said "sure, that's easy" then nothing came for 20 minutes and we put the order in with our waitress and they came like 10 minutes after that so spent 30 minutes with our cranky toddler waiting for fries. read more

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat in Temecula! They have unique food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I have personally never been disappointed going here, except for when they got rid of my favorite salad but I think it's seasonal. Lol read more
