Whenever I'm out of luck on finding a bottle I want, good ol' Corked always comes thru. I was looking for another Hibiki 12 and bam Corked had it. I wanted some bookers 30 and bam corked had it. I've managed to snag 4 bottles of bookers 30 from Corked so just alone for that this store gets 5 stars. Store is always clean, the wine cellar is phenomenal, the beer fridge is always so fresh, parking is perfect and Wes is the effin' best. Decent selection of beer, wine, and liquor but the staff doesn't enforce masks. Walked in and watched someone just hang out talking to the staff holding his mask. Told the staff member that I felt sorry for him, as he was allowing people to put his health at risk. Won't be returning until they enforce masks indoors! read more

I went in to buy one bottle and came out with six bottles spending more than$1000. But let me tell you why and how I spent more than 1k. (He gave me a special discount too) so just buy more!!! And feel good about supporting a small business!! I look for rare bourbons at our typical stores like total wines and bevmos but could not find any bottles that I wanted. And I always used to compromise with other bottles and still spend 2-300 hundreds of dollars. But in this store I was not only able to find special bottles but they were all great deals. The store clerks were friendly and able to explain the value I was getting and experience was extraordinary. They gave me plenty of time to think to make choices. (To me, it was a difficult because I've never spent this much on bottles but now I know this is like buying designer bags for Guys.) Look, I am no bourbon experts but I came to purchase p rare bourbons that would make my husband happy. It beyond made him happy. And the bourbons were so worth the purchase and it tasted good. I am going back to grab another bottle. Lol anyway, on the same day, I went back in the store to grab a card and because they didn't have a card they gave me 6 gift bags instead for free. That's kind of the service you will get. Just epic and the service you will get here will be unforgettable. You will build a relationship. I definitely go back for more. read more

Corked stores have always been a staple for me to find craft ingredients like mixers and garnishes for my bar, craft beer that I can't find anywhere else, and some of the most helpful and knowledgeable staff I've ever encountered. I can call them and ask if they have a product, they will look for me-and even call a sister store if they don't have it at one location, and if that's not good enough, they will order it for me no questions asked! Just recently they held a giveaway of sorts on social media- and I WON! I showed up to the store and browsed around, and by the time I got to the front to pay, they had already had my items I won ready for me! I felt a little bit like I had a red carpet rolled out for me. 10/10 would recommend this store for anyone who knows what good is :) THANK YOU CORKED! I've been visiting this store for many many years and it's finally due for a yelp review This is One of the biggest and best stores I've ever been too, they have a huge variety of everything, whatever you can't find in other places you will find it here if not they will get it for you in a short period of time. I wouldn't recommend their online buying option, purchased (or so I thought) an expensive bottle of whiskey for delivery within 1 hour. Well that came and went, called before they closed and was told they were out of stock and checking with their other location and would receive a call the next morning. Nope! No call or update, sent an email referencing the order and got no response. Finally called their customer service only to be told the order would be cancelled and my card refunded. Terrible customer service and false advertising in my opinion, at least Total Wine & BevMo tell you they are out of stock online or in store. Also, when I called to see where the order was after the hour timeframe was up they asked if I was picking this order up in store, wtf? Glad I didn't drive to their location to find out they couldn't fulfill the order. read more

Called Corked and asked if they had what we were looking for and they said yes! Drove over to this location and got what we needed and were able to make our holiday recipe. Buyer BEWARE - Save your money and go elsewhere. All of the products are marked up significantly from what you can find at other stores, in some cases by as much as 50%. The beer selection make look large, but the majority of the products are far past their shelf life (canned October 2020?!). It is easy to tell this business is more concerned with having full shelves than caring about the quality of their offerings. Customer service is non-existent at best, rude at worst. For those looking for beer, I highly recommend checking out Stateside Crafts around the corner for a proper experience. BE WARNED: Corked liquor store on Atlantic and Carson in Long Beach now charges 4 PERCENT extra fee to use a card. There is a sign at the checkout saying there is a transaction fee for cards for UNDER $10 purchases, but my purchase was $50. I pointed out the fee on my receipt and the worker said "its part of our new system." But there is no accurate sign warning you of this. They already have high prices and now tack on an extra 4% and call it "Taxes and Fees" on the receipt (for a $49.99 purchase I paid $57.15, you can do the math). If they are going to do this, they need to inform customers they are taking and extra 4 percent! What stores now charge 4% for EVERY use of a card (I spent $50 that time)? None that I go to. I totally get a fee for a $5 or $10 transaction (many places do this), they may lose money on these small card purchases, but for ANY purchase? Well I am shopping with my feet and going elsewhere from now on. At the very least, TELL people you are doing this and not just call it a "new system!" Bye Corked! Keep going there if you like extremely high prices and add 4% more to the bill. I like the store itself and the selection is great, but I do NOT like the hidden business practices and super high prices. read more

Although there is an interesting selection of hard to find items, I got discouraged from buying more than a couple of bottles for multiple reasons, including the poor customer service skills of the people at the counter. It was my first time at the store, and wanted just a little guidance since I was looking for a couple of gifts (I had in mind bourbon, sake and tequila). However I was treated as an utter annoyance by the two guys at the counter. Keep in mind prices here are quite a bit higher than usual, I would rather drive a little bit more to avoid such price gouging. And last, but not least, the cashier refused to give my receipt, and when I got home I realized that not only I had got two overpriced bottles from a business that treated me like crap, but the cashier had also overcharged me. read more
