This was my second event at Blue Flame Cigar Lounge that I went to, 04/22026. It was an event highlighting Olivia cigars. The Olivia representative was not available, so one of the owners, Nancy was apply to do a fantastic job of explaining the different kinds of Olivia. Taste, blend and sizes. The owners Lymann and Nancy make you feel very welcome. The atmosphere with their easy going openess along with the great group of cigar enthusiast make this spot to be at. A must go to place to relax smoke a cigar, have a good conversation or just watch a few sporting events on the multiple TV's. If you just go for cigars, there is a great selection of cigars in the walk in humidor. So take a look and enjoy. read more

I enjoy this spot. A small relaxed lounge with a chill vibe, cool crowd, comfy seating and a few flatscreens. The walk in humidor is not large but filled with some of the best premium cigars on the market. There are a few cigar accessories to purchase and lockers available to rent for regulars. The ventilation is great, especially when the front door is open. Very relaxing. read more

This very cozy and traditional cigar lounge located in downtown Torrance California, is a wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy a cigar. The dark wood furniture accents filled with sports and other memorabilia coupled with large, plush and extremely comfortable chairs only enhances the overall relaxed vibe of the lounge. The humidor is spacious, clean, well lit and stocked with a myriad of cigars that would impressive even the most experienced cigar smoker. A members only room in the back of the lounge offers a more secluded and private atmosphere allowing customers a more intimate experience. Personalized "members" lockers are available and are commonly used to store cigars, snacks and other creature comforts consumed while in the lounge. Televisions strategically placed throughout affords customers an unobstructed view of sporting events and other popular TV programs while indulging in a cigar. The staff is welcoming, friendly and readily available to answer questions, while offering suggestions on some of the lounge's most popular brands. During my visit, I had the pleasure of meeting the new owners and was given a tour as we discussed the lounge's rich history and the numerous collectibles that adorn the walls. The owners opted not to make any major interior changes but wanted to keep the integrity of the lounge that many customers and employees had grown accustomed to seeing. I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the new owners decision to retain the lounge's former employees. This speaks volumes of their genuine commitment in wanting to provide the best possible customer service to their current and future customers while acknowledging the past good works of the employees. Often times business owners overlook the criticality and/or value of their staff to the overall success of the business. It's nice to see they are a valued commodity here. I did purchase a few cigars and look forward to enjoying a good smoke. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to my family and friends. This was my first time at blue flame cigar lounge in Old Town Torrance, CA. Space: My first impression was that it was a very masculin space with dark cherry wood shelves and leather chairs. I understand it's a cigar lounge, and smoke is part of the environment, but it seemed a little too smokey for my taste. I would recommend a better ventilation system. The space is nice, but as I looked at all the sports memorabilia, I noticed everything was covered in smoke soot, and things that were once the color white were now yellow. It wasn't very appealing. Cigars: They do have a large variety of cigars, and the humidor is a great size. The lady operating the cigar lounge was very helpful and provided great information on all the cigars. I chose the Placencia 149. It was a nice mild cigar. I enjoyed it. You are not allowed to bring your own cigars into the lounge. That's a No No, so you have to buy the cigars from blue flame. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is relaxing and seems to be calm and quiet. I did learn that on Tuesday nights, they play three episodes of the Wire with sound, but they will have sports on other tv's without sound. I have to be honest because everyone was listening to the TV show, and it made it hard to have a conversation without interrupting the show. It's kind of a downer. Price: The cigars are overpriced and are on the pricey side. An average $15 cigar was about $23-$25 at blue flame. They also don't have any deals that I saw for groups buying together. And because you can't bring your own cigars, you're stuck paying the higher prices. Location: It's located in Old Town Torrance, CA, on Santori St. It's not a bad location as there are other restaurants and taverns right next to it. Plus, old Town Torrance is a great place to walk around and enjoy the area. I will say the exterior is very bland, and it doesn't have much curb appeal. read more

I've smoked pipes for a long time but know almost nothing about cigars the woman who was working helped me through everything and made the place feel welcoming. The patrons were also very friendly. Yesterday after dinner my husband and his friends suggested we go smoke cigars after dinner, we end up checking out Blue Flames. It was a great atmosphere to socialize, we were instantly greeted warmly by one of the owners Nancy. We luckily found seating as most of the chairs were taken, I'm not a professional cigar smoker. I just casually enjoy it with my husband, they do have a wide variety of cigars to choose from sodas and water to purchase as well. The humidor was stocked & thats the only compliment unfortunately. Thankfully cigars are so enjoyable that I can make it work just about anywhere. As I walked in there was no greeting and no attempt to help choose a cigar, not that I needed one but thats the expectation. The chairs felt old, sticky, and in desperate need of refurbishing. A majority of the ashtrays had ash and smoked cigars still inside, most lounges I've been to make the attempt to clean out ashtrays often. They have EVERY cigar you can think of,if not, they'll get it. Ray, Naomi & Bill are very knowledgeable of all cigars & accessories. They're EXTREMELY nice, patient, tolerant & helpful to a novice, like me. Ladies, don't be a shame, ask for something mild, they'll give you the BEST recommendations. Surprisingly, due to the location (Torrance, CA), Blue Flame isn't as pricey as most lounges. As opposed to DTLA, there's abundant & free parking. There's lots of bars & eateries surrounding it. It's a safe area to go alone. Lastly, Blue Flame's patrons... WoW! It's Truly like a real-life "Cheers". There's approx 6 large TVs playing sports. Comfy large leather chairs. There's a member section (with membership comes privileges). Some regulars have their own seats. The 3 times I've been there, I've met some real *Salt of the Earth" people (including owners). Had GREAT convos. I learn a lot about the particular sport we're watching & their opinions of players, coaches, calls, stadiums & leagues. I so APPRECIATE them letting me in their world. Nice comfortable plenty a leather seating plenty of televisions if you like sports you're gold in here now that I got that out of the way, my favorite part about this place is they have a great selection but if you're a novice like I am admittedly, they are very helpful and knowledgeable and willing to work with you. I was in the humidor for maybe 20 minutes trying to decide .... I ended up going with his suggestion I feel terrible. This place was exactly I was hoping for! I saw them on the news being highlighted, and I immediately told myself I was going to visit. I was warmly greeted by one of the owners, Lyman and staff Naomi. They asked me what I liked. And being a novice at cigar smoking they both kindly guided me through the different types of cigars. I ended up purchasing three different ones. And stayed to smoke one there, and got introduce to other staff and regulars. Will definitely be back to relax and chill.
